It used to be that Makita was at the forefront of innovation but Milwaukee undisputably has taken the lead in innovation. Still keeping my Makita tools but have only being buying Milwaukee recently.
It would be perfect if the top was packout compatible. This would be a great replacement for the half size organizer that I attach under the packout backpack. Still has storage bins with bonus light and phone charger. That would be a game changer!
I do like the compact size and the compartment with bins and the ability to charge a phone within the compartment, now that’s real nass like, I’d definitely put a piece of Kaizen Foam in the compartment to replace the bins and cutout a spot in the foam for the phone. Smeeesh that like button. 👀👉🏼 👍🏽

What I like about this so much is the fact it combines several utilities into one. Even if you veer off the "intended" path for the demographic it's made for... I can totally see it as a mobile kit you can bring with you that also has storage for first aid, maybe medications, etc. But especially what came to mind was people who do drone content or action cam stuff where it helps having a compartment for charging a separate discrete battery as well as storing lenses, accessories like water proof cases or mounts, blades/wings (drones) & the light is a bonus for when you truly do eventually have to play a game of scavenger hunt, "where'd that thing fall off from camera/drone??" lol - this is not an exaggeration either.

What's up brother did you hear about the glitch at Home Depot with the buy more save more deals. A guy Jeff who lives in Florida and put out a TH-cam video today with the Home Depot buy more save more and the glitch was they were doubling the amount on when you spend a certain amount they were doubling the price U-Save. He purchase the Milwaukee pin or brad nailer along with the Worm Drive saw and total price was around $600 but the price came out to a little over $200 dollars. You can go and look on TH-cam for his videos and just see exactly how much he saved. Check it out brother.💯👍

I never got the m18 version, because it seems like a waste of space. This one might be worth checking out. I'm a plumber thinking crawl space. My only concern is the fact it doesn't charge the battery at a job site, and it absolutely has to be the top most thing mounted. Can't put another pack out on top.

Lights have saved me on more than one occasion for finding things. Very useful.
I'm planning on using packout on my camper for exactly that reason.
