In Australia the pilots and atc call it PDC. “Delivery, qfxxx, pdc readback” they still read back the clearance by voice but initially receive the clearance through datalink initially.

Most impressive, Emi ! I hope that its take-up by pilots and controllers enables an implementation that is not too lumpy. Otherwise there will be disruption to its use. Good documentation will be important.

I curious about you saying that PDC is an incorrect term. Is that maybe just Europe? I’m a real world pilot in Canada/USA and I would refer to it as PDC. Are you maybe just referring to the distinction between PDC and DCL? DCL on this side of the pond is via CPDLC, which I believe is a slightly different implementation than what Europe has over ACARS.
It's because he is not a real airline pilot He obviously just randomly got all this professional and very specific aviation knowledge from an IKEA chair
My old operator also calls pilots overpaid busdrivers, refers to cabin crew simply by numbers and says they never have AOGs - simply because they call the planes „tech“ instead 😂
These lame, lame A320 family I'm stuck with on Xbox. So many features non existent, hopefully I get enough in taxes back this week when I do them to build a new PC worthy of MSFS.

PDC is the US term for DLC.
Could've been nice to include the initial call to ATC with DCL. Otherwise helpful video.

I remeber in the Aerosoft Airbus 320/321 Extended for FSX you were able to print out in your home printer.

Hello Emanuel, do you know of any way to change the voices of callouts in the PMDG 737. For example the "Rotate" and "Positive Rate" callouts.

Wish more US Controllers would do this, just once have I ever experienced using it outside of Europe and that was at Denver maybe about a year ago
At major US airports it's now getting quite common after the vTDLS software was created.

This should be pushed towards mandatory if fitted if tower or below is not online. Not a fan of listening to clearance comms at in cruise.

Xbox unfortunately is a pretty limited platform, I’m sure Fenix would love to release on it, if it was possible.
