#22 is a beautiful bottle calf. I thought she was sold last year so sorry she slipped through the the crack again. Hasn’t she done that 3 times now. 1st again, unbelievable. I like the name Midnight.

My Uncle had a cow with giant mastitis like that cow and the remedy for her was a mix of antibiotics and milking her out repeatedly over several weeks. The cow was out of his beef cattle and had never been milked before. He had a milking station that had tie downs on all 4 corners. A little more hassle but helped the cow and she got to keep her calf. He also kept a nurse cow (Guernsey) that would take any orphaned calf. He had up to 4 calves on her at any given time. The rest of the time she was the family milk cow. He had her for over 30 years.

She had missed the “truck” for two years. Having an udder like that is life threatening and extremely painful.
@@robynmorris2408 you are right she needs to go on the truck now or the same mistake will be made again, she will be out in the pasture the bulls will be let loose she gets pregnant, she hangs around , pd+, stays around calves again next year.

Number 18 didn't want to leave because you and your family was its Mom as far as it was concerned. I was amazed how the cow knew #18 was its calf.
My wife was so taken by the bucket calf. We used to ranch but had to leave. She would like to submit the name ‘Stormy’ in recognition of our last bottle calf!
Thanks to work and a now 3 day migraine I'm late at viewing this vlog. For what it's worth my immediate thought for a name was Double Deuces, DD for short, or as others have said Deuces. In fact, one of your other subscribers also vlogs and signs off with "Deuces" at the end of every vlog. It all seems so perfect and fitting.
