Equal parts humor, dignity, humility and respect. I absolutely love this show.
My Grandaddy's brother, "Dix" Dixon, flew Scooters off the Essex during the war. He passed away a couple of years ago, and it underscores the need to get these stories on record. Thanks for helping to preserve history with your platform.
Will watch from the beginning tomorrow. Shanghai seems to be a very lively energetic speaker! As always Mover you created a show brimming with respect insight and professionalism
Ol' Lt. Sheehy! I recall deploying with the 509th and 511th squadrons/10 TFW , to Denmark in summer of 89'... a year before the Iraqi invasion in August 1990. I was an intelligence analyst working in 10 TFW/Alconbury UK, and we went out there for a two-week deployment to work with the Danes and German air forces. We had a Wednesday night party on the flight line...and like all of us, I remember the "young" 2lt Sheehy being pretty "trashed" on good ol' Jagermeister after solid day of training... man.... those were great times!! Who knew??... that a year later...Todd would deploy to Iraq with 511th, and become a "legendary" Hog Driver...getting the first shootdown of an enemy helicopter with the "gun!"
Awesome interview with Dee Snider...cool of you guys to get him on.
😀
😝 clever.
You"re awesome Shanghai. Thank you for your service Sir and thank you for the stream.@@TwoBagsFullShanghai
@@Wentwerth713 Thanks Adam! I appreciate your kind words! And yeah man, it's a bit more time-consuming project than I'd anticipated, but flexibility is the key to AirPower so I'm working on getting content on the channel & one more piece of tech so new launch date for "Warthog Wednesdays" is 11/01.
#ATTACK!

Another good show Mover. You guys make it fun to watch, keep em coming please.
I've been training in Kalah for the past 2 and a bit years, I've gone through the level 1 instructors course and instruct/still train in the discipline now. It was developed by Idan Abolnik who is a former IDF commando who by the nature of his training had to learn Krav as well, however determined there are a LOT of pitfalls in the Krav system that aren't realistic / suitable for a self defense system (not to be confused with martial arts). The knife / gun / CQB aspect of Kalah is a lot more practical and when pressure tested back to back with Krav, comes out on top every time for dealing with realistic scenarios. We train in the same ethos though, avoid, negotiate but not necessarily kill, incapacitate/destroy/etc, proportionate response to the threat being presented. The stuff that's going down in Israel at the moment is absolutely horrendous, I absolutely believe that people in these environments should learn either Krav/Kalah however there's only so much you can do when force multipliers are involved in such a hostile environment and you have an enemy who is hell bent on achieving their objective no matter the cost based purely on an unwavering ideology.
I was at my Citizrns Fire Academy class ! Tonight we learned a lot from the Fire Marshall about Fire prevention and forensics and got a taste of the live fire fighting we will be doing in 2 weeks! Got home in time for MHM
Goodfor you Shanghai. Helping homeless vets! Will catch your show too.
Thank you for the support! And good on ya for attending the Citizen's Fire Academy!
I love the honesty. Thank you for another good show.
Great show guys. Shanghai is an amazing guest.
Thank you for the kind words, Man! And mad respect for Firefighters!
Great show as always.
And thanks for realizing the fact that we Iranian are absolutely different from our totalitarian gov which is the root of ALL bloodsheds in the region. We really fight hard to overthrow those ruthless criminals so that the peace rises again for both of us and the whole region.
It's specifically painful to recall that Imperial Iran was assigned by US to be in charge of international waters security.
#IraniansStandWithIsrael as always
Another great show! Really interesting topics!
The important thing about the twitter and socialmedia videos was correctly pointed out by the Chieftain over one year ago. He said "dont't only question yourself about what you are seeing, ask yourself about what you don't see". I think everyone who watches these short videos about ongoing wars, should take this into his mind.
It'd be nice if we could give the "F-15X" treatment to the A-10. I realize it's completely different since Boeing never stopped making F-15's with exports so it was easy for them to slap an X on the Qatar version. Just sayin' it'd be nice.
As for the A321 field take-off, I saw a C130 do a short take-off with JATO at NASA Ames in the 1990’s. It was very impressive.
Question for Shanghai, or any A-10 driver, do you use rudders when turning the A-10 (Because it has straight wings)?
Great show fellas keep up the great work
Hey guys, given current events, one topic idea might be a discussion on LOAC. Former USAF non-flyer who got standard LOAC training. Flyers, fighters, way more qualified to speak of legit & illegitimate targets.
Sorry have not got my phone fixed. Totally lost the connection to you.
Totally enjoyed the show. 😊😊😊
Long live the A-10.
Another great show guys! Love it, keep up the great work.
Cheers
Did y’all completely miss that Douglas called Shanghai, Saigon?
I’m gettin’ old…I caught it, then went back and missed it the second time and thought I was mistaken the first time 😅
They will keep the A-10’s in the desert and my thoughts is that the AF will bring them back into the fold in the very near future.
Speaking of bombs over Baghdad..I'm assuming you guys have seen the Outkast video footage, to the song of the same name..
(TH-cam, as 'Bomb Saddam' 2003, Grouchy media)
It's not bad, but I think you guys could well surpass it.
I'd love to see you guys, and all of your guests.. collaborate together to bring to the table & create an even better, more full & awe-inspiring, war fighting aircraft & weapons footage reel.
Something tells me you & all your friends.. could absolutely crush it, and create one hell of an awesome & highly motivational, aviation war-fighter's montage!
And I feel the need..to see that made real indeed!
What say you, Sir..?
Does his hat stand for Ontario Knife Company?
Oklahoma City
This guest was far too political for what this show typically is. Just some feedback. Thanks for pulling the show into the tactical/strategic/military tech standpoint each time, Mover.
Yeah, when have politics and war ever had any involvement with each other? And how dare a combat veteran have an opinion?
Please note: this is sarcasm. Just some feedback.
@@zymuralchemy I think you're looking at what I tried to say the wrong way.
Agreed, my feeling as well.
The newest A10 is, 38 years old lol.
The U.S. Treasury's undersecretary for terrorism and finance, Brian Nelson, said, "All of the money held in restricted accounts in Doha as part of the arrangement to secure the release of five Americans in September remains in Doha. Not a penny has been spent. These restricted funds cannot go to Iran - it can only be used for future humanitarian-related purposes. Any suggestion to the contrary is false and misleading."
That statement in itself is misleading. The $6B freed up other funds that directly funded terror operations. Not to mention previous funds sent to Iran. To suggest otherwise is disingenuous.
@@CWLemoineHow do unspent funds free up other funds? That's not how accounting works.
That's absolutely how accounting works. If you give me (or free up) $6B in assets and say it has to be used for humanitarian efforts, that frees up assets I already have for other purposes. Hamas has already directly attributed funding/logistics support to Iran. Why would you defend this?
@@CWLemoineNo, it's absolutely not. That $6B has not offset costs elsewhere when it has not been spent, unless you can prove otherwise. Don't defend disinformation.
It's not being spent yet. Do you think accounting just happens overnight? These budgets are planned and then money is freed up. Don't spread your own disinformation trying to defend the indefensible.
Tribalism. I HATE IT. It's propagated by politics, media and organized religion. "My team is the best no matter what." Respect and learn from all viewpoints. Bring people together and you'll find 99% of people in the world want the same things.
mental minute your give up premise is WRONG, with that way of thinking Israel should have and would have rolled over long ago with that style of "maybe I should walk away". never give in to others, you will regret giving up the rest of your life. I love your show, but I will no longer listen to any of your mental health advise and just stop once you get to that point in the show for now on.
Nonsense. You missed the point entirely. Listen again.
Enough of Shanghai.
Huh? I don't get this "enough of Shanghai" comment? You had enough of him or am I misunderstanding?
