    ⭐️ 2020 M1 MacBook Air: geni.us/65QGP (affiliate)
What's up everyone?! I hope you liked this list of M1 MacBook Air accessories. What was your favorite item? Do you have anything else that you think I should include in a part 2? Finally, which configuration is right for you?
Would love to know what you think. Is this laptop that you would use and why or why not. If you’re currently using something else, please share your experience with me. I am grateful in advance 🙏

When you connect the display to the MacBook via the saitechi hub, can you use the screen in Retina mode? As in 1770x720 ?

Is there a downside if you use a usb-c to Hdmi cable instead of an adaptor? I want to buy an external monitor for my m1 MacBook Pro and I would like to know if its better to go for an adaptor (type c to hdmi) or for a cable for that specific reason.

i got that mouse, and the keyboard that goes with it, and i LOVE them. i need to do a few more adjustments to what all the buttons do, but it's so nice to use when I'm using my laptop connected to a monitor instead of by itself.

Thank you once again for your great video! Your recommendations/suggestions are spot on! I have the M1 MacBook Air, 8CPU, 512SSD. One thing you didn't address was your recommendation for an external back up. Currently I have a Time Machine external back up device. But just as my old, (ancient), MacBook Air from 2013, the Time Machine external backup is more or less the same age, (so it's ancient as well!). Can I continue to use the 2013 - 2014 Time Machine external back up device? Should I get an updated Time Machine external back up or is there another product you would recommend? If so, which one would you recommend? Thanks for the great advice from your videos and from your replies.

Just bought the Samsung T7 for my M1 MacBook Pro and wow, it’s super quick! I only had enough to upgrade one feature on laptop so went for the RAM due to video and photo editing. I thought I could get external storage and I’ve got 1TB for £134 and it’s a bargain! Thank you so much for your help! 👍🏼

I am finally going to make the leap and purchase my first Apple Mac book. I was on the fence because I will use it for my business. I take pictures with my phone an iPhone and I wanted something less cumbersome. I wasn’t sure if I should wait for the new release but after watching your content I realized the MacBook Air is really more than enough for me. I will use these accessories and be a happy camper!!! I’m a 75 yo senior that’s a bit of a geek, :-)) and appreciate all your suggestions but now I’m soooo confused. Could you do something simpler for a beginner Mac air user? I just ordered a Dell 34" Ultrawide that is 3440x1440. I have heard that there are problems with either text being too small at this resolution or having to use less resolution for readability. When I read the reviews of many plug-in USB hubs, most of them fail. Do the pricy ones you recommend stand the time test? I can spend more, but I’ve got to get that bang for my buck. I live abroad, so I’ve got to find your brands online. BTW, I love clicky as I don’t have a house mate, but I can only use it at home. Hard to find any Bluetooth keyboard that is MAC compatible outside OF another MAC product that I find just too tiny. Those big clicky Logitech keys give me a sort of comfortable feedback that I’m actually hitting the right key. Not available fOr MAC.

I’ve had that happen by trying to skip out using carpet instead of tile on my home and several other things read try to save a few hundred dollars and then unhappy in the end. Anyway thank you for the video it was a great video. I do have a small 100 W charger that has all the same ports but is much smaller than the one you featured. I’ll try and find a link for you and leave it in another comment. It uses Gann technology which is probably why it’s smaller. It’s really well-built and very solid however. I do have a couple of questions. I would love to know what monitor that I can buy to use with a Mac mini that will have the same resolution as the MacBook Pro monitors? In other words I would like to buy a MacBook mini instead of the apples all in one computer but I don’t want to give up the screen resolution and I don’t know what to buy. Thank you

Thanks for your great videos. Have you used a case for your MacBook? Is it good to buy one?

Have you experienced incredibly fast battery drain with the Satechi hub? I have that issue with mine, not sure if that is normal or what should I do, but the battery really does not last more than 5 hours when the adapter/hub is connected

Hi, as I'm looking at a hub I'm concerned that the 2 port hub will put excessive physical/mechanical strain on the MacBook ports if the hub itself is connected to many things.. like hdmi and usb cables..
Does the hub sit flash to the table once inserted into the mac or is it hanging from it?

Wilk the dongle-less hub fit if the mac has a case on?

In Singapore, when I bought the M1 MacBook. The store (Harvey Norman) gave me 3 free items USB hub, bluetooth mouse, and choice of laptop bag or USB-C flash drive (I chose the USB-C flash drive 32GB).
