S10+ is IP68, has a higher res screen, dynamic amoled, better cameras, better CPU and GPU, better fingerprint scanner. But if you don't need those, okay then.

This just proves that the most important factor during a speed is ROM speed and software . Soc has little to do with it . UFS 3.0 will bring a great improvement in the app opening speed .

A better memory means a better road which will allow the car to go to its max speed which won't be possible if it is driven on a road full of bumps and faults (inferior memory). A better soc can be taken as a hypercar with a top speed above 217 mph... and in usual roads you would never be able to get to that speed...and while turning both will perform in a similar fashion... The hypercar pulls ahead in long straights (video rendering stuff) and also accelerates quicker.

I have the A70 and it is definitely better value for your money than the S10+. Midrange phones are really catching up. Really nowadays when you pay for these high end phones your paying for the camera. But remove the camera aspect from the S10+ and well its not much more worth than the A70. Even in terms of camera specs, it might even rival the S9
Oneplus 6/6T beat all the flagships for the buck. I own one. Trust me, the design is better than the S10 or iphone X...its think, all mate black glass, alu frames, pefect amoled display...it just feels so much more premium. Ive held s10, p30 and more...but 900-1300$ ??? no tnx 499$ for me.I even paid 299$ for it and it is a flagship killer

A70 is my first android phone and I'm so happy that I did switch to Android. I'm not a heavy gamer (but I tried Asphalt) or a mobile photographer, so I really don't need the top of the line specs, I just need a phone that could last a day and perform well.
@@toni05 could be better. But gcam makes it really great especially the night sight mode so I'm thinking it could be fixed by updates. There's a group on facebook for A70 users where they post their sample photos if you want to actually see it.
S10 is fluid, a different experience from the A70. Dont knock it till you try it. Maybe not for casual users but for those who game on their phones and take pictures will find it reasonable to spend more for the s10 albeit i agree , The s10 plus is barely good for its price but cmon, no other phone looks as good with the edge and the OneUI. I am using the A70 and it is smooth and have good ram management but no s10 class

I'm extremely impressed with the A70. I had my heart set on the S10 Plus after my phone died but now I'm reconsidering. For that price, the A70 looks amazing and hits all my needs. I'm upgrading from LG G4 so everything is better than that phone. Still extremely surprising.
I love this kind of videos, but you could be more organized with the apps, what I mean is that u can create a folder with the same apps organized in alphabet order so that u can have the apps on the same position, sometimes the position of the app and the finger u're using makes the difference on these tests.
The S10 has slightly different features and brightness. The S10 is slightly brighter and you can use all the features with the galaxy buds on the S10 where as the A70 you cannot.
Problem with the A70 is that there is a fast charging glitch where if you want to disable the feature it will constantly fast charge with the stock chargers. Also the AOD does not work with tap to wake, it either glitches or flickers instead of staying the intended 10 - 30 seconds as stated by samsung after the most recent update.
Great comparison! The A series are excellent value for money. Well done Samsung! You have something for all pockets and desires! Remember, it is not always about not being able to afford the latest. For some it is what do I value spending my money on eg phone or house/car/holiday/bike/family, etc. AND what do I use my phone for? Who cares if it loads a second faster in all the speed tests if I don't use it for gaming but for average usage? No-one would know without the speed test comparison and we are not talking of a 10 second difference!

You're not looking at the bigger picture. The A70 is not only a cheaper priced handset. It also has a bigger battery. A battery that is from the S10 5G! So if battery life is your thing without the S10 5G price tag. The A70 is king

Great comparison. The midrange has come a long way! It's probably worth noting that the phones are likely to behave differently once the storage is half full.
Storage doesn't matter as much as you'd think on performance. It only really affects performance if you have less than 1% of storage free, which will cause both phones to experience lag, regardless of if it's a flagship or not.
I was noticing that when the s10+ was only slightly faster, you would say it's definitely faster. But when the a70 was faster, you would make it a point to say it's only slightly. Even when it was clearly more than just slightly. Perhaps it's just me, it's possible lol
Indeed, I noticed that too. In the beginning, starting the game he said, the A70 was 3 to 4 seconds slower, MAYBE less, while in reality it was under 2 seconds.
Like what's the freaking point of a faster processor on mobile at this point? There are literally no apps that benefit from it. It's absurd just like hoarding more ram. 6 gb is still overkill for mobile phones. Flagships are only better in camera.
Love the comparison. Mid range phones nowadays are really catching up. They're only lacking in some features as compared to the flagship phones. And A70 isn't even rocking the best mid range chip..and you're not even using the 8gb ram variant.
It is a good comparizon, if we take as main point the price, obviously the winner is A70. But I still prefer the S10 Plus, it's more complete, in every point. But is my opinion :)

Writing this on my new A70...I absolutely love it best phone upgrade I've ever had (going from the a5) personally I would actually PREFER that extra screen size, the load times seem pretty even they go back and forth. I've been playing a bunch of games on the phone with no lag or issues at all. If people never knew the prices or statuses of these phones I guarantee %80 would choose A70 going in blind unless you're a curvy screen lover

Wow that A70 is fast & the screen is brilliant plus Dolby ATMOS with the headphone jack & the huge battery of 4500 mah & the 25W very fast charger & the great cameras all that for £369 here in the UK is amazing so I just traded in my S7 edge got £150 off straight away and I can claim free AKG headphones worth £129 so I got the whole deal with the trade in for £219 I’m really happy can’t wait for it when it comes tomorrow I ordered the white A70. I've always purchased flagships until 1 week ago when I went and purchased the A70 boy am I glad I did I saved heaps of money and still got a big buetifull screen and great performance
You're not looking at the bigger picture. The A70 is not only a cheaper priced handset. It also has a bigger battery. A battery that is from the S10 5G! So if battery life is your thing without the S10 5G price tag. The A70 is king
Love your channel. Videos are very informative. I want the A70 so bad, but nobody will confirm how the 4G LTE is on T-Mobile. Are you in a major city and do you constantly get 4G LTE? I can't do H+ signal in 2019 going into 2020.
The screen is brighter on the s10 and also what the longevity of the phone ? Is the screen less likely to crack? The battery will that last?

Great comparison. The midrange has come a long way! It's probably worth noting that the phones are likely to behave differently once the storage is half full.
Storage doesn't matter as much as you'd think on performance. It only really affects performance if you have less than 1% of storage free, which will cause both phones to experience lag, regardless of if it's a flagship or not.

I was noticing that when the s10+ was only slightly faster, you would say it's definitely faster. But when the a70 was faster, you would make it a point to say it's only slightly. Even when it was clearly more than just slightly. Perhaps it's just me, it's possible lol
Indeed, I noticed that too. In the beginning, starting the game he said, the A70 was 3 to 4 seconds slower, MAYBE less, while in reality it was under 2 seconds.

Like what's the freaking point of a faster processor on mobile at this point? There are literally no apps that benefit from it. It's absurd just like hoarding more ram. 6 gb is still overkill for mobile phones. Flagships are only better in camera.

Love the comparison. Mid range phones nowadays are really catching up. They're only lacking in some features as compared to the flagship phones. And A70 isn't even rocking the best mid range chip..and you're not even using the 8gb ram variant.

Writing this on my new A70...I absolutely love it best phone upgrade I've ever had (going from the a5) personally I would actually PREFER that extra screen size, the load times seem pretty even they go back and forth. I've been playing a bunch of games on the phone with no lag or issues at all. If people never knew the prices or statuses of these phones I guarantee %80 would choose A70 going in blind unless you're a curvy screen lover

Wow that A70 is fast & the screen is brilliant plus Dolby ATMOS with the headphone jack & the huge battery of 4500 mah & the 25W very fast charger & the great cameras all that for £369 here in the UK is amazing so I just traded in my S7 edge got £150 off straight away and I can claim free AKG headphones worth £129 so I got the whole deal with the trade in for £219 I’m really happy can’t wait for it when it comes tomorrow I ordered the white A70. I saw the A70 today in a shop, of all the Samsung phones, including the S10 it had the brightest screen by far.
I've read about A70 having difficulties with reception in the U.S. Have you had any issues with yours? and also it does not support wireless charging, does it?
