You know what makes the z1r so great? Two words, seating position. Just perfect. You could have lower back and neck problems but its no trouble on your trusty z1r
10.84 .must of been a lightweight rider..mine ran 11.40s stock super tuned weighed in rider at 225 lbs..mine was indoors no miles ..bought snowing on Xmas Eve for 400 cash ..sold it for several thousand in 1989 to the Japanese guys out cali..My 80 j block dragbike ran 9.40s 275 lb rider .nice bike .Miss all the old Kawasakis etc.and kaw triples and all the Yam RD.s teaching my son to keep all the cool cult clean stuff..better than cash..lol
Love the bike how's it run with the 29's and stock air box? I had put the stock air box on my Kz 1000 with my 29s the reduction in performance was dramatic.
I have a 1977 KZ1000-LTD and am looking for some help with it. I'm in Northern Nevada - does anybody know of anybody within a days drive that is good with these old bikes?
Spokes take away from it but it's what he likes so be it! And it's missing the tool tray, and I don't even think he knows that. Just Sayin. It's not the best restored one I've seen.

I had that exact same bike back in 81
My first bike I put a Yoshimura pipe with some K& N filters on it.... Loved it
I’m from Oakland,Ca and had the same bike in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I wish I still had it big regret selling it

Mine ran 10.60 on a 10.61 dial-in. In Street fo.. Very nice. The spoke deal kinda not on point. But to each his own. 👍

That's when you sell it then buy it back.

But the spoke wheels are AWFUL.
