For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a unique 1978 Dodge D150 Warlock. A D150 Warlock was part of Dodge’s Adult Toys line in the late 1970’s. The Warlock was produced from 1976 to 1979, limited production in 76’ and regular production from 77’ to 79’. The Warlock is similar to the Lil’ Red Express trucks with the exception that they were black in color, and available with a 4X4 drivetrain. This 4X2 Warlock was repainted about 15 years ago, and has been well cared for since, as the paint and body are in wonderful condition. The black vinyl interior is also shows well, with minimal signs of age and wear. Powering this 78’ Warlock is a 318 CID V8 with aluminum valve covers and an Edelbrock chrome air cleaner and carburetor. A 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission transfers the power to the Dana rear end that houses 3.92 gears. The 318 V8 was replaced by the dealer before 1985, but the transmission is original to the truck. The gold pinstripes and black and gold aluminum/alloy wheels provide an awesome 70’s look and style to this Warlock. The odometer reads 91,413, which represents the actual mileage on the truck. Options for this 1978 Dodge D150 Warlock include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Raised White Letter Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheel. These Dodge Warlocks are rarely seen, especially in this condition. This Warlock is ready for your local show or cruise night. I remember the Warlock and the Li’l Red Express. Didn’t the Warlock have wood acent on the dash? How does the under dash perform?
    What is the price?

I have one of these (recent pick up) is it considered a d100? having trouble figuring out what trucks share body panels and parts...

Dakota McKinnon Yes, it is considered a D100 or D150 still and the W is the 4x4 series. Both trucks share the same body panels and interior and engines from '72 - '80. The hoods changed on the '79/'80 trucks. '81 - '93 changed and although the glass is the same, everything else changed including the interior. Body parts are interchangeable but won't match up with the '72 - '80 trucks
