Honestly didn't know so many coffee songs existed
This so reminds me of my childhood growing up in the 50's. I was born in 1945 and when I was about 4, I would have a cup of coffee with my Dad before he left for the office. My Mom would get a coffee mug, pour milk in almost to the top, a little sugar, and a touch of coffee for color. I thought I was a "Big" boy and was drinking coffee with my Dad ! I was "So" proud ! What a great memory ! Thanks, Mom and dad ! 💙💙☕️😊
My mothr would give the cat a cup of coffee so she would have a buddy to drink it with. Mostly milk of course!

My grandfather just turned 101 on 10-15-20 and this is the music he requested for his birthday its soothing beautiful music and it was such joy seeing him dance with my grandma who's 99 and yet they have so much life in them and do things on their own still

Oh my. My dad used to sing "You are my sunshine" to me when he was expressing love to me. He was never much of a hugging type person but if you picked up on his ways of showing his feelings, it would last a lifetime. Your lifetime.
The second I heard it I lost it. My dad used to sing the same song to me. He's been gone 20 years today, and this mix showed up top of my suggestions. I like to think he sent it as an I love you from beyond ❤

Back in the day, after Church, breakfast, and a visit to the Grandparents, we’d go home for the afternoon and watch “The Lawrence Welk Show”, “Mutual Omaha’s Wild Kingdom” and finally, “The Wonderful World of Disney” before having dinner, and then going to bed by 09.00PM, disappointed we’d have to go back to school the following day.
I had to get up from my desk & pour a cup of coffee, while I listen. ☕🌞 I wish I had lived through the 40s and 50s. ❤ My mom used to sing You Are My Sunshine to me, as a child. Her birthday is coming up this month, she would have been 90.

I did not grow up in the 50s but i am an old soul. This was an era were you and your family could watch a movie together without worrying about what they would see or hear. I have an 11 yr old boy who was born in 2013 and i have introduced him to the classic movies and music. Thank you for putting these videos on so that we can let our children no that music can be great without using foul language.🕊🍀💚

I'm in my 70's and still find that my Farberware percolator makes the best coffee. I remember the aroma rising up to my bedroom in the morning before coming down for breakfast before going off to school. Many young people today don't even know what a percolator is.
Things made in the U.S.A., before the 1970’s, lasted practically forever.
When I go to vintage stores, I always tell my 18 year old son these items still work, to this day, because we built things made to last. 🇺🇸👍🏽

Those mornings when you were happy waking up. My god what happened to us? Family members killing each other school shootings.We respected everyone now we don’t give a damn.This is 2024 80 years later when this music was played.We should be more civilized.We are destroying ourselves but nobody cares.
I'm younger. I pieced together that times have changed by watching classic movies and how people treated each other in those movies. They went to see these for entertainment and the behavior, attitudes, and manners were "the norm" for movie goers, else why would they like such entertainment? "The Hollywood Code," I read, was formed by mothers/wives who threatened to boycott Hollywood if it didn't clean things up for their husbands and children. The Hollywood Code lasted from about 1934 to the late forties, dwindled through the fifies to end in 1968, I read. Oh, this music, Tristan, is getting me to my coffee and brighter thoughts. I'm on a Lustron home back patio, with 2 kids and a wife, in my high-waisted khakis and burgundy cashmere sweater, and there are only 40 minutes till work as a journalist for the local news. Despite that looming over me, despite the noise of the children running amok, or the clatter of whatever the missus is doing... the jazzy music from the radio, the smell of the coffee on the small table next to me, and the filterless cigarette between my fingers center me into the newspaper. To them, I must look deep in concentration, but, in between taking a moment to admire my family, I'm secretly reading this week's comics. I take a sip, notice the lawn could use a trim, the back corner of the fence needs new paint. Life is swell

I was listening to the Nonesuch coffee add. And they had a refundable deposit for the jar😮. Why don't companies do this today? Think of all the space that could be saved in landfills and reusing the jars would probably save the money. This shows our ancestors had common sense and we need to remember and learn from them.
