EXPLORING LAOS - Episode 1 - Luang Prabang

So me and a few of the new teachers at my school went to Laos for the half term after hearing amazing reviews from so many people. Our Journey starts in Luang Prabang, a gorgeous place to go with mountains, rivers, temples, waterfalls and gorgeous scenery. I also treated myself to a drone so finally some drone footage in my videos! Luang Prabang is by far the most beautiful place I have ever been. Highly recommend.

If you come here, visit 'The Loop' .Central bike ride from Thakek in Khammuan province to Lak Sao in Borixhamxay province and back to Thakek. Truly stunning and so much fun. The roads are ok. Paved and so much better than the usual Luang Prahbang -Vang Vieng -Vientiane- Pakse north to south adventure. Best country in the world. Also, the rainy season is alright except for Late July and August..bit too much rain for biking it. The food is great, especially in Vientiane and the people are as good as they get anywhere. Huge hearts.
So much ethnic diversity it is incredible. Views that take the breath away. Resident of 16 years. Special. . Peace n love to Lao PDR..we say Lao b.t.w

This is my husband hometown and birth place. It was conserved as heritage city. New houses can be built any style but the old or already existed must be repaired to its original

It is Mount "Phu-Si", NOT Fusi. Phu means Mount. Si = means colorful.
