in this video i discussed whatvis feedback circuit in switch mode power supply smps. how to test feedback circuit in switching mode power supply.
the optocoupler is connected to positive source through a current limiting resistor and the cathode of optocoupler is connected to adjustable zener regulator which provides offset voltage to the optocoupler upon getting the reference level at its pin 1 through voltage divider resistor set.
so the Ripples in output high line are transferred to the pwm through optopcoupler by means of varying light in the optopcoupler due to the Ripples in Output. it causes the output transistor junction resistance to vary, this varying resistance is fed to feedback pin of pwm controller. which utilitizes it to adjust pulse width duty cycle - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี

Very informative and easy to understand explanation on how voltage is regulated in SMPS depending on the resistance of opto coupler transistor which is connected to the controller circuit.
yes dear, it is close loop feedback circuit, this regulation is done on CTR (current transfer ratio) method which is a ratio between the collector current and LED forward current

Thank you for your videos. They are extremely helpful!! I have an interesting circuit that I am trying to diagnose. The input side of the optical "resister" Is controlled by more than one component. One terminal has the resistor and the zenor diode, the other terminal has a transistor. Both of these are connected to the negative side of what I'll call the "emitter" side of the optical resistor. Would you mind explaining how this works? I can send you a copy of the schematic. This is in another switch mode power supply. Again, thanks so much for putting your time and effort into making these easy to understand videos! Much appreciated!

Great explanation ! Is it compensating the ripple or only the average of the ripple ? So it is not a binary feedback to the PWM controller to mis the next puls if voltage gets to high ?
