  • This is KS Suspension's video (original: • Video ) and they own all the content. However, their instructions were out of order, which makes for kind of a less than ideal instructional video. Since it's been up for over a year and they haven't fixed it, I figured I would. You're welcome.

I’ve figured that my cartridge is shot, when the new one arrives should I pressurize it before installing it? I know that sounds like a stupid question but if you know what this looks like and how it comes apart it will make sense. I want to make sure I’m not going to damage it in anyway buy sliding it up and down as I assemble it, none of their videos explain the air pressure or cartridge.

My flex noodle is hard. -Jokes aside, it’s actually bent aluminum doesn’t fit snug inside the trigger. Any suggestions with this?

Sounds like you should see a doctor for that. However that's how it's supposed to work. It won't stay in on its own until you have the cable routed and apply tension to it. Once that's done, the tension itself will hold it in, just like a brake or shift housing.

I had a problem with my LEV post . After a couple of months , with not a lot of riding it has started failing to lock at the top and moves up and down a inch . Now it has to be sent out for repair and could be 2 weeks waiting . Not happy...

Had exactly the same, where it won't stay up and just sinks all the way down. Utter rubbish.

Way late to the game on this one, but I had that same problem with another LEV post. Turned out the piece at the base of the post came unscrewed a bit, triggering the drop any time it had weight on it. Re-lubed it, tightened it down, and that was all it took. This might not apply to your case, especially since it was a year ago, but it worked for me.

something for other viewers. my bike came with a lev post, 2017 Trek fuel ex8. in my case mine failed first ride (sag problem). (bike shop is 75 miles away) took bike in came back hours later didn't ask questions. several rides later, same problem. decided to be brave and gently pull the post up feeding the cable. found the cable was kinked from bike shop shoving the post in without feeding the cable. I gently removed the kink. and now it works. watched the maintenance vid on KS site a couple days ago and have the proper lube coming i'll tear it down make it all right. the response is slower than when I bought it.

Hey Sean, you should be looking for 18 mm worth of cable protruding from the housing. I dug up the manual PDF (www.kssuspension.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Integra-models-all-languages-2017.pdf) and on page 13 you can see that particular piece of instruction. Is that what you were after?
