Wow thanks for the video, I finally understood how to play the initial harmonics and the first riff, couldn't get over the harmonics as I'm still learning how to control them
hey man great cover, using your tabs to learn the song, I was just wondering when you do a cover how you get the original track to play in the background like that? thank you
qu’elle effet a tu mis sur ta gratte. Si t’as des refs de pedales (surtout pour la disto) je trouve le son est nickel bien crémeux mais bien gras aussi donc ça m’aiderai pas mal ! sinon super tuto
@@Ottoctone So is somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd fret but closer to the 2nd one and is somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd fret but closer to the 3rd one! Great! Thank you! 👍🏼
These are so-called decimal point harmonics. Simply divide the 3rd fret of harmonics 2.4, for example, into 10 sections. And the middle of the 3rd fret is 2.4, so to speak. 3.2 is exactly the same. Divide the 4th fret into 10 sections and at the "beginning" of the 4th fret you will find the decimal point harmonic 3.2.
@@gagehaas4532 I believe, if my memory does not deceive me, that the Pinch Harmonic 3 is played just before the bridge pickup. But I'm not sure about that.
Premier cover de Gojira que j'écoute... Je suis bluffé par tant de justesse, un immense bravo et ça envoi vraiment du lourd
Super helpful cover and tab thank you! Love the decimals for the harmonics

@@TrendKill92 he uses that app to remove guitar tracks. Then he sticks the audio into a daw and records his guitar over it.

Merci !
J'utilise mon Quad Cortex mais pour avoir le son de Gojira il faut que tu joues sur une simu de EVH 5150 ;-)
hey! What does it mean or even in the tabs? Where do you have to put your fingers?
Armonics
Your put your finger above the 5 fret if it’s to play the natural harmonics, just touch the string do not press them !
@@Ottoctone Great! And what about ? 🤔
@@Flaming676 it mean that the harmonic is situate between the 2 and 3 fret etc

That's wonderful ! What is the tuning ?
Gojira is usually D standard tuning
Merci Tristan ! L'accordage est en D standard : DGCFAD
Comme tous les covers de Gojira que j'ai fais pour le moment !
drop?
The notes like 2.4 and 3.2 what are those?

@@Heavy_Metal.Nerd-2005 what is the pinch harmonic one on 3 does it mean you hit the harmonic on fret 3 but bend the note to 6.2?

sorry, what is 2.4?
