The crosswind is so intense in this mission, I was sure it was a bug in my system. Turns out forcing you to exceed the crosswind limits of your aircraft is intentional.

15:54 you should set your QNH altimeter. Under the altitude this number 29.92IN should be changed to 29.79IN to respect the correct altitude. You can do it by using BARO knob located right from your PFD, or just hit , (comma) on your keyboard. Since you had good visibility you were able to land with VFR, but in clouds it wouldn’t be possible.
My flight was exactly the same and i landed just like you, but my plane would tip, forcing me to reset the mission. I had to abort it. Thats all i want to do for my company is mainly Cargo. Ill try again some other time
Thankfully the update coming in a few days is going to eliminate this exaggerated wind in career, so way less to worry about with owned aircraft for sure 🙂

Don’t know if this is normal for MSFS but the typical control motions to land with a crosswind (rudder to align the nose and aileron to control drift) didn’t work. Separate rudder pedals would probably help.
According to google, max crosswind speed for the caravan : 20 knots As soon as my wheels were on the ground and my nose was on the runway bearing, my right wing was lifted so hard... 2 attempts, 2 crashes...

Is anyone else having an issue with turboprop taxiing, as in you disengage the parking brake, and it just wants to go, requiring a lot of braking to not get a taxi speed warning? I've tried feathering the prop all the way but it still wants to go.
Yeah it would be cool to have an overview video of how all the auto pilot stuff works on that g1000. Also curious to see if it's possible to auto pilot all the way into the landing at some point.
Buying the Used Grand Caravan is a scam, you buy it for 1.6 million and once you try a delivery mission it will give up mid-flight so you have to abandon mission after 1+ hours or crash, so you abandon it go back to menus oh turns out the plane needs maintenance for another 1.1 million.
@@theeglobalcitizen it's still cheaper to buy a Used and fix it than a new one but it kinda sucks because you buy a plane you expect it will atleast last 2-3 flights.
I bought the Caravan 2 times and managed to complete 1 flight, after landing I skipped to shutdown, the game gave me an error and sent me back to the hangar. This plane never gave me 1 cent
I’m stuck on this mission I tanked my rep landing over and over and once on the ground I would get flipped by wind I’m done with career it’s a fun idea but I’m not gonna grind and it takes away so much ie I don’t want to go through the trouble of setting up simbreif for cargo mission 100 on my way to buying a caravan where free flight it’s the only way to fly
You got to be kidding me im getting so pissed off at this dumb mission. The second i land i get blown off the runway. I just want to relax on my day off and play some flight sim but i cant even do a normal flight without a 40kt corsswind

Definitely not intentional, excessive wind like this is going to be fixed in the update coming out in a few days

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've tried this mission 4 times now, crashed every time because the plane tips after landing.
That landing had me holding my breath. That kind of stuff has me worried about my own company planes

With the Caravan you can take off with 12 souls and land with 1 and it's not a problem... :)

Was the engine being over torqued? Gotta be careful in turbo props.
