I enjoyed you cover on this song. I came here in support from your "rude guy" on Threads. What a jerk he is! Hopefully you'll not come across another like him again. If it does happen again, get the venue people to escort him out. Nobody deserves to be treated like that, especially when youre working to entertain. My absolute favorite vocalist is Morgan James. Shes a petite 5' 2" graduate of Julliard (studied opera, sings soul/blues). In addition to her wonderful singing, another reason I like her so much is she's a strong woman, she takes no 💩 from Adam Henrys like that guy. She taken rude comments for cutting her hair (she threatened to cut it ALL off), her breast size not being big enough and she needed implants (told the guy he was a piece of 💩) and other such things - almost always from older white guys. Which upsets me even more because I'M an old white guy. Here's my favorite go-to. When somebody says something rude I tilt my head like im hearing something distant and say, "Shhh, did you hear that?" And I'll wait for them to listen. Then i follow with, "No? Yeah, because nobody asked for your opinion! Now go away." Best of luck to you and your career!
