I'm so happy to hear someone talk like this! As a GOP-voting (albeit non-Trump), devoted Southern Baptist hetero from Mississippi, I'm aware of how political everything is. But, we Christians need to separate our political mission from our religious ones and treat others who are broken in the way we want to be treated in our brokenness. I saw Laurie on Remnant Radio yesterday and can't get enough! Thank you; thank you; thank you!!! I wish I had heard this articulation pre-2013.

Thank you for sharing this. We're (elders and wives) taking some time to process more through this as well and develop what we believe about the overarching issue of gender equality as it pertains to our mission and vision.

Thank God for actually seeing the person and not the attraction. Jesus looks beyond our attractions and choose us🙌

How do you square --- Amos 3:3 -- "Can two walk together, unless they are agreed?" Paul rebuked the Corinthians for NOT expelling the adulterer. Jesus ate with sinners - yes. But He did this to "convict" them of their sin. John the Baptist said -- REPENT, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. We are not to be "friends" with the world, but to be Salt. Who is influencing Christendom more --- Christians, or the World? I see "Christendom" being absolutely powerless in the world today Just look around. "christians" are literally no different from non-christians.
