What a stimulating flip through! I was thinking of so many things to do with the stacks of papers I have and printing over them like you have done here! It is refreshing to watch how spontaneously you approach this process! Thank you or this video:)
The gorgeous prints are endless. Ceri, the creativity simply flows from you. Two immediately jumped out for me and they were cobalt blue with gold and then purple with copper. Stunning combos.
I truly enjoy your videos; they are packed with information and give encouragement. I do not have much money to spend and when I see interesting stencils, acquisitiveness kicks in (yes, i was the annoying 4 year old, whining, "I want! I want!") This is why, on some other channels, I get the sense that selling products is their main mission. Yes, you do promote products, but I never get the sense that is your main reason for making videos. Your style of presenting is relaxed and chatty, it's almost like sitting down with a knowledgeable friend for a cup of tea or a coffee and an informative chat. So, thank you for your work - it is much appreciated.
Oh thats so nice of you thank you Jerald, hopefully I never push products for sale, I do mention my own designs when I’m using them because that is part of my livelihood but hopefully I give enough inspiration that I show art can be created on a budget and with minimum supplies.
Thank you so much, I’m having requests to show how I made them and I’m not sure that’s even possible as it took a couple of days and its a drawn out process due to the drying times. But I might try and do a scaled down version in the future.
Thank you Ceri. Everything you've produced is fabulous as usual. And, yes, Froyle does love her circles! It's fun to just "play" with our stencils/masks. Using just a few colors can produce such a palate of color combinations. They then become parts of our backgrounds. Great job!
I’m not normally a blue-teal kind of person but I really liked the teal and dark teal piece. These are all great. I really appreciate the view of what you have done. These are such great prints. Thank you for sharing.
Another wonderful inspirational showing Ceri!! I love this style of papers. If you make more, I would LOVE to see your unique process of creating these gorgeous gel printed tissues!! Pretty please🙏🏼🍒🥰😁
@@CeriGriffiths I know that might be a bit challenging- I saw so many beautiful layers on your tissues!! Maybe a new year’s “Create Your Stash” series of longer videos with the layering techniques you used?? Whatever you can do, if you are able to record it, I would just love to see your process. No pressure, but I know the videos would be awesome just watching your creativity!🤩💗💗
Gorgeous sheets, which will create beautiful things. Love what you've done. Off to shop for stencils at PM Studios. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.
Ah I held my breath in anticipation, knowing you were going to produce something interesting and was more than pleasantly surprised by the plethora of magnificent 👏 results. There wasn't a single piece that fell into the "no" box. Brilliant results. Thanks for sharing 👍 😊 😀
Just watched Froyle and she was using gelli tissue. I can see what my Saturday is going to be spent doing. Might try some tracing paper as well. I’ll be using my new stencils from PM Artists which include your Harlequin and numbers. Loving all your prints. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much for showing your printed tissue papers! That’s a fabulous collection! I am looking forward to seeing how you use them in your art this year. I made a special note to try one using the purple and copper - one of my favourites! TFS!
Loved watching that video and looking forward to see you using these works of art in a video. Do you do flip throughs of your art journals. Maybe we could see one soon on a video. Kept thinking I had seen my favourite page as you went through them but really loved them all. You are so creative and love the colours you put together.

Some really gorgeous prints Ceri! I kept saying ooh that's my favorite... now that one is. The washer prints in white reminded me if powdered donuts and now I want donuts 🍩 lol. I like the letters stencil, it has a kind of urban decay feel to it. But you definitely had some really unique backgrounds and bits & pieces. And I kept wondering if we might have a Bob 2.0 for 2023?
Such beautiful tissue paper collage papers. Your work is always so inspiring to me. I was wondering how you get your tissue paper squares so perfect in size? Do you have any hints or tips for cutting? Mine never turns out quite as nice. It slides, slips, tears and just not very corporative when cutting. And tips would be appreciated. Thanks again for sharing your creative spirit with us. Your work is truly inspiring.
Hi Debbie, I use a water resistant tissue called carnival tissue however I used to do the same thing prior to that with gift wrap tissue, I tend to wait until my prints are dry and then trim them with a scissors as I know I’m not going to use the blank borders in the final collage so I get rid of them before I add the prints to my stash, this way it saves me time when I’m creating.
@@paperpuddles yikes, that’s quite pricey. But it does appear to be of good quality. I’m going to try tracing paper. I’ve had pretty good luck stamping on it. Going to spend my Saturday playing. A little gel printing and coffee dying. Have a wonderful weekend. P.S. love your username.
All of the replies have been correct, it was carnival tissue paper from the UK, it is expensive but 100 sheets are large sheets and I cut them in half if not more, I find the 100 sheets will last me at least a year, if you’ve crafting friend in your area maybe split a pack.

Good question, I find it goes transparent enough for my needs however it’s doesn’t totally disappear as would rice paper or gift wrap tissue. But I still love to use it.
When you say "tissue" do you mean the kind used in gift wrap? What you have there seems much sturdier. And you gel print them? Just one copy of each? Is the tissue backed with something? Thanks.
This is carnival tissue paper its a product I buy here in the UK and is produced so that its water resistant, I have however printed onto gift wrap tissue but you need to let the layer of paint dry on the tissue paper (after you’ve pulled it from the plate) before you add the next layer of paint because its so much more delicate. This process could be done on thinner paper tough. I’ve also seen people print on many different papers that are equaly as thin as tissues paper with great results.,
Lovely collection... of course. It would be nice if you gave a 3-4 beat without your hands in the way of each sheet -- love to hear you talk about each one, I just need some uninterrupted eye candy.
