Red pinging (supposedly) adds mental pressure to attacker in clutch scenario. I think it's fine to start red pinging when the attacker is deep in site/planting and so on
Agree. It can also be really helpful when running Deimos on your team and you can alternate between red and yellow pinging for more accurate pings if you want. Red pinging is also clearly an enemy while a yellow usually requires an additional callout to clarify what you mean.
Never have I watched a siege video where I want every person who play this game watch it. So many of these are just common courtesy that a lot of players just ignore
Idk reinforcing next to others is fine since we shared walls If you have so much set up that spending time running to another wall is detrimental or even annoying in a strat you probably should be doing walls after set up (like if you were playing castle for example )
#2 is why I always found it odd that Castle is considered a good beginner op. I often find this can lead to salty experiences as new players just get shat on for bad Castle placements instead of getting good feedback. I especially dislike ones that TK you when you tear it down to leave site
@@BMP i find that having him as a pathfinder op naturally makes beginners more likely to use him. As someone who loves Castle, it is honestly crazy how he can literally make or break a site
Castle makes the game for new players, dont TK them, let them cook. Just move around them, hey at least they lock down a few places and maybe put up a cam in a strategic spot for intel.
Expansion to rule 6, if you know you have a cheater on your team, coordinate with the enemy team to throw so you waste the cheaters time and give them an L in the process. There is no point in Team killing a cheater to just then try for the win still, on defense let the attack enter and plant and on defense have them let you in and plant so they can defuse. Doing that both makes the rounds move by as well as saves KD too, so its a triple win.
18 makes sense, but probably would do it in casual or at lower ranks. It was a 2v1, I was pinging the enemy instead of scanning them, and teammates just ignored it. It only got their attention when it was red. And 19 I still think all drones should enter because a good place drone can last longer than a dead teammate still holding onto the drones
yea I think 18 is purely situation, in low time instances I would much rather a red ping for immediate danger than a yellow but could just be my low rank mindset lol
Honestly id disagree with rule 1 nowadays. Back then everyone just wanted to get rid of their two reinforcements, but now since all the reinforcements are pooled, you can just both reinforce half the wall, and go do other things quickly instead of having one person stuck reinforcing for like 15 seconds.
5:40 unpopular opinion, but if they know default cam sites redping-ing as they come into view is worth it because they are about to shoot the default anyway.
Also for roamers, don’t go far off site, sit prone for half the round, and only start to make your way to the OBJ when it’s 2v5. Nothing infuriates me more than the random caviera who sits in the basement of clubhouse
I have something to say against some rules: rule 5: It only applies for low ranks. The reason for that is that everytime you tell the enemy team which map you are banning, they have the upper hand. This is because they are now able to choose any map they want. It might sound ridiculous, but imagine a team being very good/experienced on emerald plains banning oregon to have a huge advantage over an unexperienced team. rule 6: They don't care. At some point, they will win anyways if they are ragecheaters. There is also a limited amount of TKs a stack can do because they will all be tagged if too many teamkills happen. The best thing to do is probably to do nothing, because cheaters will be banned eventually and the rp reset will take care of it. There is no cheater that has been cheating since (e.g.) operation black ice that has still not been banned on his main account. except for those ones, I totally agree with your points. Really nice video! Keep the great work up!
I follow all these rules the one that bothers me the most is the revive one I will sprint to get the 2v1 back in motion. The amount of time I had teammate go down and the rest run passed them to get a kill turning the 1v5 into a 1v0 is uncountable
I had a round earlier today where my team was HORRIBLE, 3 of my teamates couldn't hit the broadside of a barn, that on its OWN is fine, but they didn't say SHIT or EVEN PING ANYTHING. They left me and the other competent teamate to essentially stumble around in the dark firing randomly.
Have to disagree with number 1 since the reinforcement pool changed from 2 per player to 10 idc anymore and iam happy if someone is reinforcing and since that i never got trash talked after this change when i did it to teammates
@@liamobryan6105 he was tho, and I am ashamed to be a fan with all the brain rot coming from him. He was cool when he was a genuine guy on a live stream and not a clip farming brain rot machine
True, people say he "revived" the game, but I think he actually sealed it's fate because now all of the old players who understood the original idea of the game left, and these 9 - 12 year old sweats have taken over and all they understand is run and shoot.
apparently according to Ubisoft: typing GG is considered toxic, at least thats what they said when they did that whole course on how not to be toxic...
Tbh, I don’t agree with rule 19. What happens when your teammates drone gets shot quickly? Sure, maybe you know where bomb is but now you don’t know arguably the most important detail: how to counter their set up or operators. Realistically, it is better to have drones split up to: check for unexpected bomb sites, able to flux over elsewhere within building if needed while only a couple go to most expected site, giving the team intel. Then every drone should try to transition towards entry points. IMO people drone backwards: first drone should be to gather intel on enemy make up and to help you determine where and how to enter the building by visually clearing the entrance. Second should be for in-site specifics and clearing rooms after you already entered. That’s just my opinion and it tends to play out better. All this “drone before you go in” to me is folly. You should place your first drone already where you plan to enter so it doesn’t give away your entry like how it does when everyone throws their second one into an entry. The only exception I would add is if there is an opportunity for a very strong drone spot overlooking a “God spot” in which case you should take it and enter with a teammate who already has an entrance cleared with their drone at start of round.
Agree. Drones work are not only "to find a bomb". IMHO most of times you can guess what site enemies will pick. Drones should be in building in critical spots.
Icl I feel like the letting your teammate diffuse one is kinda silly bc this game isn’t supposed to be about how many points you get it’s about working as a team it’s not a solo game so if you have the chance you should just go help instead making one guy do it all
nah #21 is real asf. we played this team of trashtalkers going to round 9 and my team ended up winning. we started talking so much trash they doxxed me and my friend and filed a complaint about cyberbullying to our school
Yeah its mainly just a lot of communication, and if you really want to get serious, forming operator bans, map bans, and strategies that you all consistently want to run. The communication part is really what most people struggle with but you'll get the hang of it the more you queue with 5 stacks
I liked the unwritten rules, esp throw out rooks armor immediately, some maps I wouldnt ask people to team kill your Castle for locking down bomb site I wouldn't encourage killing your own team that just makes the game bad, learn to frag a soft wall or rome on the other side there is no reason to encourage what makes people hate this game.
The unspoken rules of Rainbow Six: Siege but they get increasingly more obvious I miss rule #22: If more than half your team goes recruit, go recruit or be TKed.

Should I also stop at 3ks? What about 2ks? Better not kill anybody just to make sure, or what? 5 kills is special because that's ALL of the enemy team but the rest is just good to great. I'd be happy that ANYBODY from my team got a kill. Only one person droning is alright, I guess, but really not necessary. You can already pre-place drones inside depending on where you want to enter or go for the scans so you know who your enemy operators are (especially helpful since Deimos and the attacker swap ability got added).
