- Enjoy a tour of a Family Suite at Disney's All Star Music Resort! This is a unique room that sleeps 6 and has a small kitchen area. The room is only offered at Music, and not at All Star Sports or Movies. This room was a part of the Jazz section of the resort. The cost for the night was around $360. This was filmed on July 23rd 2023

That’s true! The All Stars have some of the most fun theming, especially All Star Movies!
It’s not necessary to blow a fortune for a Disney hotel room, and the All Star resorts unfortunately tend to receive unfair negative publicity. That’s a great suite for a family. Nice to see it 😊
I agree. If I was coming here on vacation, I’d honestly consider the All Stars heavily. The rooms are the cheapest available, which would in turn allow me to make my trip much longer. The theming around all 3 All Stars is super fun as well!
Rooms were simple but quite efficient. Looked very clean & well kept. Enjoyed seeing theim!

I know the All-Stars get ragged on but they are decent resorts. These rooms are a testament to that. Great for a family not looking to splurge but want to stay in the Disney bubble. Excellent tour 4K.
That’s true! I wish these suites were able at Movies and Sports too. Not sure why Disney thought only Music was worthy of them lol. Thank you as always Andrew!

The All Stars seem to get a "bad rap” to often. They can be crowded with youth groups during holidays and events…but the resorts themselves have a great, high-energy vibe! I find them a lot of fun. If you are primarily just needing a place to sleep, these are great (especially after the refurbishment). All Stars Music was the first on property resort I stayed (pre-refurb)…and it was a wonderfu stay!!

I agree Rick! The All stars are also the last real “affordable” resorts left. The theming at all 3 is so much fun, especially Movies with the Toy Story section. It’s my pleasure as always Rick, thank you!

🛏The topic of "Suites"/room for larger families is a big thing when reading comments about Disney rooms & how families gravitate to certain resorts. Weird that this configuration is only here and not the other 2 economy sister resorts. Not consistent. Decent price I feel. The room "looks" so much nicer with the art when the pull down beds were down unfortunately. Does that make getting around difficult? Nice to know these exists & surprised the "Little Mermaid" (old Pirates) weren't this week's feature. LOL (I know, just keep watching) THX💜
It definitely was tough to walk around once the beds were pulled down. I had to put the rollable ottoman in the kitchen area lol. It is odd that the other 2 All Stars don’t have this, I wonder what the reason for that is. I gotta stay in the new Little Mermaid rooms at CB before the summer is over! Thanks so much Liz😊
The reason the suites are only at Music is because they converted some rooms into the suites as a prototype experiment to see if guests would like them as a choice. That way, in moving forward with the completion of Pop Century which was later morphed into Art of Animation, Disney would know whether to build rooms vs. suites. The suites were a huge hit and therefore, that is why Art of Animation is mostly suites.

RE: Cost $360
I always paid less than that to stay at the Dolphin. However, our room did not have a kitchen.
I'm curious as to how much rooms with kitchen are actually used (kitchen).
As for eating, we always left the parks at around 3 pm and drove off site, just beyond Disney Springs to the FL 535 area. Lots of good places to eat a much less than the extra for a kitchen or eating in the parks. Worked for us 14 times...
Thank you Ken! I’m not sure the price is worth it for this room and the resort it’s at, but I’m sure the room is great for bigger families. There are definitely plenty of great food options right outside of WDW!
This is probably the nicest room that I’ve seen in the moderate resort group. Frankly, it really should be standard and not classified as a ‘family suite’. People need room when the go away on vacation, and shouldn’t be crammed into a room where the door literally opens up to the first bed. Also, the lower end versions of these rooms at other similar class resorts (Port Orleans Riverside & French Quarter) have bathrooms that are just plain awful. A ‘curtain’ is no substitute for a door separating the toilet from the main room. Sorry for the rant; I guess I just expect more from this company. 🏦😲🍿
All Star music is actually a value resort, so it’s even more surprising to have a bigger room like this! Most Moderate resorts don’t even have a “suite” available, so this was definitely an interesting move on Disney’s part. What’s even weirder is that this bigger room is only available at this resort, and not the other 2 All Stars(Movies & Sports). But I agree with you Scott, overall the rooms at the value & moderate resorts are just underwhelming for the most part

We were just looking at this room compared to the family suites at Art of Animation for our family of 5. We have stayed at the All-Stars pre and post-renovations, and we have also stayed at Port Orleans Riverside and Coronado Springs. The renovated All-Stars is great for budget travelers! We can save $200 a night with this option versus virtually the same type of room/amenities at Art of Animation!!!
Question…I see the chairs had to be moved when the bed was pulled down. What about the table? Thanks for the tour!
The table is attached to the murphy bed! It folds out of the way as you pull down the bed

Do you have an example of what it looks like to get the name at the end of the video? And, can it be put on our personal channels or will it reside on your channel?
What size were the beds? We’re thinking about going for the first time next year and there’s 3 adults and 3 kids. Is this our only option in the value resorts?
The beds are Queen size! I know the Art of Animation resort also have suites of their own. In regards to the 3 All Star Resorts, only All Star music offers this suite. All Star Sports and Movies only have the standard rooms

Honestly, for a bigger group/family, you get quite a bit for the price.

I would have given this video a thumbs up but the tv running in the background made this really unpleasant to watch.
The differences may not be that large in a value resort but the mainstreaming of the resort rooms by Disney in the last years is just another example of the downfall of the company and WDW. Where we once had individually designed resort rooms themed to the resort theme, Polynesian, Yacht Club, Wilderness etc. we see the same design everywhere with very few individual elements remaining. Very sad but typical for the enormous loss of quality. The quality of the new furniture is also at a new low, in the Contemporary rooms have furniture of average IKEA quality for 700 BUCKS and more, it’s unbelievable. But of course the room rates keep climbing every year although they are already insane for the bad standards at Disney. Worst housekeeping ever.
You seemed to have been there recently so can you give an example of the bad housekeeping experience & how did they respond to your complaints? The moderator has also stayed (filmed) at most of the resorts & has either been lucky or not chosen to speak of problems in that department. PreCovid I found the housekeeping to have gotten the job done fine, so I was curious.
@@Liz.R I cannot talk about the last years since the pandemic. But before, we had several negative experiences at Polynesian and Yacht Club and even worse in the Animal Kingdom Lodge! The room in the AKL was so dirty that there were cobwebs in the lampshades, and thick layers of dust on the curtains, we called it the Haunted Mansion room. As a result of our complaints we were transferred to the Yacht Club and had a very good week there. So we decided to book Yacht Club next time from the beginning on only to learn that our last room had had a „special cleaning“ before we moved in. At this trip we again had a bad room and the housekeeping manager tried to find a better room and at the next room he first went in t check it out and he came back and said „sorry but I cannot let you in this room either“. It took three tries to find a room for us. Believe it or not, to get a REALLY clean room you have to order a „special cleaned room“ when you do your reservations! At the Polynesian it took them three repeated reminders to clean everything really up in the room. And at the values, both Pop and AoA we had similar experiences. As a compensation we normally got some additional perks like Concierge Level or a room upgrade.
