What a fun and colorful resort, that's awesome.
Music is the resort we always stay at and have for years. The rooms are always clean and the staff is awesome. A couple of times when we went on our anniversary we found little treats in our room waiting for us courtesy of the resort. Never have had a problem with buses or even sharing buses with the other All-Stars. If there's been any large groups there we have not noticed them. We don't spend a lot of time in our room and this works out perfectly for us. The food court is a typical food court but the food is good if you choose to eat there. We are a newly retired couple and will continue to come to All-Star Music while it suits our needs. Perhaps as we get older and want to spend more time at the resort we will stay elsewhere. If the transportation was better, these group of resorts would be by far the best family resort on property.
As the video shows, it has everything you need to have; food court, ambiance, theming, the pool (and the bar; those bartenders take care of you!), shopping.
Yes the bartenders are great! Shout out to Gaston if he's still working there. We looked for you last year, but never saw you Gaston!❤

My favorite of the All-Stars. I always end up in the Jazz section too. Lol. Now if we can get Disney to extend the Skyliner here that would be great. Excellent tour 4K.

Same here and my favorite ❤️ part of the resort was the Broadway Hotel 🏨 ’cause being in a Broadway musical 🎶 has always been my dream 💭. And in 2015, I was at that place from that resort for not only the big cheerleading competition of the year, but for the best Christmas vacation of my entire life, as well! I wish I could go back there and do everything all over again! It’ll be like a beautiful dream come true! Yeah 👍!

I remember that resort when I was a kid.
My first “on property” stay was at All Stars Music!! As a musician, I loved it!! But, it was quite a long haul to my room in Country Fair in the evenings (the last pair of buildings all the way back). The vibe at the All Stars is something to experience (well, maybe when different competition groups are not there!). The families the smaller groups there are always so hyped up to be there…makes for a really fun atmosphere!! When choosing between the All Stars, it is a tough choice for me between Music and Movies 🧐 The pools are a lot of fun too! love seeing The Three Caballeros getting some presence in the main pool here!! (Yay, Donaldo, Panchito, and Jose!!). For any who stay at the Value Resorts, notice the music is even themed to the section (buildings).
I do really enjoy the All Star Resorts because of the phenomenal theming, but going when the big school/athlete groups aren’t there is the way to go. All Star Movies will forever be my favorite one! A lot of the movie set theming still lives on in the lobby, food court, gift shop etc . Thanks so much Rick!!
When I went there it was May and for us there wasn't a problem with the transport. Perhaps cause I am used to far worse public transport. But also perhaps that long walk from Country rooms to the front meant I missed the initial first morning bus and caught the second with a relatively small line of perhaps 20 or so people.
This looks fun, thank you! I still need to make it out to All Star Music, Movies and Sports but without the skyliner or that little Hourglass Lake to walk around it just keeps slipping my mind.

This is a great little resort. If the All Star resorts had a Skyliner connection you wouldn’t be able to get a room here for love or money 😊
Oh I’m sure the prices will rise here if the Skyliner gets added one day, which I have a feeling will be the case eventually

We love All Star Music. We are getting ready to stay there for the 4th time for the Halloween party. We don’t spend a lot of time at the resort so it’s nice to still be on property without spending an arm and a leg 😅
So much has changed since we went there in '09. Would love to go there again. Just simple but cosy and well themed and interesting. Stayed back in the Country section and i didnt even mind the long walk to the front. It was just nice to take my time and mosy on through the place and look at everything.
Wish they had some shade for the bus queues though.
Wow the music resort really stands out the design is just incredible feels like your in a studio
I love the theming and design of these hotels, but never forget that they are the bottom of the pack in terms of Disney resorts. They are the main resorts for Cheer-leading squads and sports teams going to compete at the ESPN complex, particularly All Star Sports, and can be very noisy when large crowds of excited High School kids mob the place. It also has only the buses for transportation; and only one bus stop per resort. Expect lines. I would recommend spending the extra a night for Pop Century, which has the big big bonus of the skyliner.
I agree Daniel. I love All Star Movies in particular, but staying at Pop Century is much more worth it for sure
This is the last resort I stayed at!
We almost booked here for our September trip because of the renovated room and cost. Ended up booking Pop instead because the kids like the Skyliner. I love how Disney maintains their resort grounds regardless of value. Thanks for the walkthrough!!
Oh nice! I definitely think Pop Century is a way better option. Having the Skyliner is just a huge plus! I do feel like eventually the Skyliner will be added to the All Stars, but we’ll see. Thanks so much as always Jessica!

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that they have opened up on allowing visitors to see the various resorts.
I did have a room reservation for this one, but I’m not sure if they allow someone without one park there. You can certainly try and maybe they will let you, but overall I’d still recommend taking the bus from the parks or Disney Springs to be safe. Thanks so much as always!

Is it easy to get a bus from this hotel to the parks? We are planning to stay here in May just worried about transportation
During the afternoon hours it isn’t that bad, but most mornings will be pretty busy. Also night time returning back to the resort will be busy as well
I saw you featured the family suite room, do you prefer the family suite here at All-Star Music or at Art of Animation instead?
Oh I’d say the ones over at Art of Animation are much better! These are a good option too, just not as cool in my opinion

Is it just me, or does Disney's landscaping and exterior not kept up like it used to be? They are known for their manicured areas like you're on a movie set. It's not like that anymore. 😢
The more expensive Disney resorts are kept up still. The cheaper ones, like this and Art and Animation, are ok but not like the others.
🏨Economy hotels get young families in the door and maybe in the future, upgrade to a different tier if possible. It's a shame there isn't one more because these get used & abused by young folks & the upkeep must be rough. I appreciate you keep these on your radar to highlight once in awhile with thorough tours even though you probably get some pushback LOL. At least you have a car to get place to place & us po folks are bussing or uberring it LOL. Fun to see💜

I can only imagine how banged up some of these rooms get with all these big groups that come here consistently. I do enjoy visiting the All Stars here and there, but most especially Movies! Lol having a car is honestly a must for me here, because the bus service here is just unfortunately a nightmare most days. Thank you so much as always Liz😊
We are staying here in June random question how easy is it from here into Florida we are at the resort for two weeks no chance we will be doing two weeks solid walking around the parks😂😂😫
