Love this private boat excursion - must have been nice to have it all to yourselves. You could hear the animals and nature sound so well when the boat stopped and he shushed you guys 😂 (nicely of course). Heaven in a cup! That must have been good. I've never had conch before - but it looked good. I love plantains and would definitely try that crab. Is "Heart of Travel" a Guatemala specialist?
It was incredible! I (April) actually think it was me "shush"ing Wayne so I could soak the silence and nature sounds in, LOL 😎 Conch is delicious! Yes, Chelsea the owner is from California but has lived in Guatemala for 12 years or so...she has a fabulous organization and mission! 😊
It looks so stunning there! I adore boat rides, especially through mangrove forests like this. The nature sounds are so tranquil. I never knew there were 2 types of mangroves! I like that you buy from local vendors - I also make sure to do that when I travel. Sulphur is not my favourite smell in the world, I must admit. Wow, I looovvveee fresh coconut 🥰 can’t say I thought of them as breasts though, haha!
This was one of April's most fave days in Guatemala! We don't know of anyone who likes the sulfur smell, lol. 👃 Wayne gets it from those coconut bras, hahaha 😂😎
Oh this is super cool. I definitely want to get down Guatemala at some point. Just the views from the river. Oh those animal sounds! Amazing. Definitely agree with supporting the locals anywhere you go. Oh hot springs let's do it. The food looks good! "Why is the Rum always gone?!"
Hope you get to; we loved our time in Guatemala! What's your favorite seafood dish you have eaten? Hahaha, yes, why is it always gone?? 😄
Feels like you are in Amazon :D Beautiful adventure on the boat exploring the river. I like that your guide asked you to keep quiet so you can enjoy the sound of the birds which is so nice to hear. Agree that sometimes it is better to do a private tour as you can visit more places and you have the place by yourself. Love the natural hot springs but I don't think I will enjoy the sulphur smell though :( Food looks so delicious. I suddenly miss Tilapia.
Indeed! Luckily the sulfur smell wasn't that strong... The food really was amazing!
Looks relaxing, i dont see other tourists, not sure i would get in the water with the wildlife
It was definitely relaxing! And wonderful that it was as private an experience as it was. There were only tiny fish that swam away from us in the hot springs area 😉
If anything, you are both extremely adventures and will try ( almost) anything. I know from previous videos you April will push yourself. I couldn't see myself in that water....not there but in a spa pool with perfect temperature. Not with the prospect of the unknown sharing that pond with me. What a beautiful part of the word though. I can't deny that or find the words to do it justice. Respect. 👍 🇳🇿 🙋♀️ 🇳🇱
