  • Japanese Drivers discipline || what driving in japan is like.
From centuries-old cherry blossom trees to castles, tranquil temples and more, Japan’s incredible tourist sites and landmarks are world-famous. Coming to this country and visit these places that we could only see in magazines certainly makes for an amazing vacation.
What most people don’t realize, though, is that Japan has much more hidden beauty than one could expect and it’s in its landscapes, country roads, beaches, and mountains. The problem is that many of these places are somewhat difficult to reach with public transportation alone. In fact, while Japan’s subway (metro) and train systems are among the best in the world, when it comes to reaching rural areas the easiest way to do it is by car.
So why not spend some of your holiday driving around some of the most beautiful nature, hidden temples and more you’ll ever see? Follow along as we share 10 things you’ll want to know before you drive in Japan.

I honestly think the kinda car you drive is the same style in which you drive without thinking about it. Anyone can speed in Camry if they wish but how often vs. a sports car, muscle or custom car? Even the energy of your surroundings/emotions can make u excited to slam on the gas pedal.

@@xenomorph42 I have been to many countries, too, Whenever I return to Japan rm foregn countries ,of course,I feel that Japanese drivers have better manners than other countries'drivers. Maybe, if your driving way is rude, other drivers return to you with rude manner. Your performance will be returned to you like mirror.Of course ,I have seen some rude drivers in Japan, but If I compare with other countries'drivers, there are fewer rude drivers than other coutries. This is my experience in my life. Therefore, you should have your own opinion, and I also will have my own opinion. You cannot forcibly change my opinion. This is the democratic society. There is no wonder that each person has each different viewpoint. So let's finish this talking peacefully.

    • @poruatokin

@@浦和-f5y Japan. Many years ago they made the big mistake of basing their roads on US doctrine - timed traffic signals everywhere with no induction loops to automatically change according to traffic load. You'll be driving along an empty road at 4 o'clock in the morning when a random red light stops you for no reason whatsoever.
But traffic management in Japan is just abysmal, junction design, road layout, you name it.
As for driving, on 3 lane expressways there is no concept of keeping in the left lane - they'll be driving down the center lane all day long with no traffic on the road.
Result - it takes 3 times longer than necessary to get anywhere.
Without a doubt it is my biggest frustration living here (in Japan)

@@浦和-f5yI agree it's like that in Malaysia and most probably the same in Japan too (we base our traffic laws a lot on the Japanese road etiquette). There's a reason why the third, right-most lane exists - to overtake slower cars
