In this series, Lives of the Sahaba, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi discusses the lives of the noble companions, some of the greatest and most blessed human beings to ever live after the death of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him [S].
While not a comprehensive history of the Khulafa Ar-Rashidoon, this series will provide a summarized biography of the men and women considered to be the Sahaba (companions of the Prophet [s]), including the Mothers of the Believers (the wives of the Prophet).

    Assalamoalaikum...
If it possible then please do "Mu'awiyya ibn Abi Sufyan"(r.a) also...leave aside what other sect thinks of him...after all he is a sahabi and one of "kuttab-an-Nabi"...i think he deserves a lecture so that we can appreciate his sincerity even more...manythings of his earlier Islam before fitna...we are quite unaware of..جزاک اللہ شکرا

As a Sunni I would say. If you really want to defend Muawiya, you better not discuss him. A lot would come out of our own books which are quite impossible to defend

If you really want to defend his honour. U better not discuss him. It's gonna disturb you more. I mean the authentic things that would come out of our own books.

I wonder if the ‘big belly’ was a symptom of kwashiorkor disease! It comes from protein malnutrition and one of its symptom is a protruding belly.

He translated it wrong: That which intoxicates in large quantities is haraam in small quantities.
