OMG I love it!!! $1000/mo will only get me a studio or one bedroom in the roughest neighborhoods here in Chicago, IL! To live like this, you would most definitely need to live in the suburbs (like I do), but it costs so much more. My 2 bedroom is $2000/mo, but the apartments shown in this video are so much more modern & up to date-- with better amenities, too. This is just another confirmation to my desire to move to Johannesburg or Cape Town SA. The USA is garbage, and I want OUT!! (born and raised here)

I have been to both Nigeria and South Africa. SA rules and cost of living, standard of living, plus weather make SA superior.
Nigeria, Lagos particularly, have electricity supply issues...seeing power maybe 1-2 days a week for maximum of 8 hours.....and everything is frustrating. You get stopped by police and officials everywhere wanting bribes for nothing. Fuel shortages a few times a year see people lined up for fuel for as much as 10 hours. Traffic is a nightmare. Constant flooding. Sorry Tayo...but you also know this.
