  • We put the Kubota L3901 to work with the Land Pride RCR1860 rotary cutter (bush hog / brush hog). I show how easy it is to connect with the Quick Hitch and provide a few tips and caution areas. I also provide a photo of the underneath so you can see how it is made. I mow some trails and around some of our fruit trees in the orchard.
You will see at around the 4 minute timeframe a funny piece of video. :)
The mower & tractor make a good pair for doing chores and taking care of overgrown areas. I hope you find this helpful and if you want to see something else please let me know.
Thank you for watching & please share & subscribe.

It has been very helpful. We have the grapple we use a ton for wood cutting and hauling tree trunks. Recently we replaced our 20 year old simplicity with a Kubot BX2680 and it’s been pretty impressive as well. Much smaller frame but a handy little thing. Thanks for watching and have a great day.

@@OutdoorsandCountryLiving Aweome. We looked at a L3902HST, RCR1860, BB1260 & trailer combo. Just sent the salesman an email, that if he gets our payment closer to $400 a month, we'll take it. But not a buyers market these days, that's for sure.

@@ForensicPI that’s for sure. The quick hitch is a nice add. Get them to throw that into the deal too. If you have any questions we can help with just let us know. Good luck!

You are set up really well. I have an old Southeast rotary mower that I use. It does a good job for me. My pasture is 100 acres of very steep rolling ground. I can't use a much bigger mower but I am thinking of getting a bigger bat wing mower for my bigger tractor for the wide open areas and saving my 60 inch for the tighter spots and around the trees where the cab tractor can't get into. Good job on this video.

Yeah the bat wing will save some time if you have the power to run it and pull it. They actually mow surprisingly well from my experience. Thank you for the comment and stay safe! - Tom

Nice video and good camerawork. You also drive around with the ROPS down to prevent hitting the branches. I made a video on modifying my ROPS to prevent this, since I was also driving around like that all the time. Eating the apple right from the tree during mowing is the way I like them best. :-)

I need to score me a deal on one of them rcr 1860. They are nice heavy built cutters. I got a really good deal on the rcr1260 or I wouldn't had bought it. It is really too light for what I need. Love that tractor buddy. I need a quick hitch too. Man that works great. Yeah I bet that green apple made that mouth pucker haha. It is so satisfying bush hogging something, isn't it? Especially when it is high.

Yes sir! It is nice to see the difference. The quick hitch will spoil you. I know some older attachments may not work without an adjustment or adapter but man...they are handy. I have a trailer hitch attachment that drops on the quick hitch with a ball. I can backup to the log splitter or trailer/boat and just raise the hitch and go. As long as you have some tongue weight it will not bounce off. Thanks for the response. I hope to get more content up soon. Stay safe! - Tom

Outdoors and Country Living I would like to see that trailer hitch you mentioned. If you get time share a video on it and message me so I know! That sounds cool.
