Im American and I live and grew up in NYC my whole life. I’m probably the biggest Tyson Fury fan there is…And not just as a fighter but as a person…He’s such an inspiration there’s no words in the dictionary that even exist to express how special he really is…I really admire him and not just for his accomplishments in the ring, but for everything he’s done outside the ring as well. Don’t get me wrong I was always a big boxing fan and I also have a few friends who are professional fighters, and also a close friend who’s involved in the business part of professional boxing. One of my friends is also a former 2-time world champion in 2 different weight classes. I don’t even think Tyson Fury realizes how truly special he is…What a lot of people seem to have overlooked up to this point is how much boxing needed someone like Tyson Fury and as I stated above not just for his amazing, unmatched talents inside the ring, but for the extremely rare, unique, and inspirational story he carries with him wherever he goes, which a vast majority of transpired not just in the midst of his boxing career but while he was still on top as heavyweight champion of the world during his first reign..And the reason im saying this is because in the sport of boxing we rarely hear about fighters whom take a turn for the worse that come back even better and stronger physically and mentally like he did. Especially, when it has to do with drugs, alcohol, and mental health issues on top of that. They usually never return to the ring, struggle for the rest of their lives, go to prison, or even if they do find a little motivation to return to the ring it’s just for money and a great vast majority of them are a shell of what they used to be…As I stated above, a lot of people tend to overlook how special Tyson Fury is especially when you consider all the circumstances he’s dealt with and is still dealing with now, while taking into consideration everything he’s accomplished in and out of the ring since he began the healing process in 2017…I know we’re all familiar with the saying hindsight is always 20/20 because it seems like a lot of people aren’t gonna realize how special Tyson Fury is until his boxing careers over and they start seeing and hearing less of him…Unfortunately, that’s how it works sometimes.

Because the term gypsy comes from the old phrase “he gypped me” it means to con someone and travelers gained a reputation(stereotype) for conning. There’s a John Fury interview with Kugan where he said we’re called gypsies but we’re not actually gypsy. I can’t remember which one tho.

I didn’t know until last year that the word “clown” is considered derogatory by some Irish folks. Apparently, a clown is an offensive caricature of an Irishman - red hair (like a ginger kid), red nose (from being drunk), tattered clothing (like a poor survivor of the potato famine), big shoes (because they had to take hand-me-downs from their big brothers).

i hate how so many reporters and boxing channels just brush over the Wallin fight because it's the odd duckling fight in an otherwise lopsidedly dominant career. That blood bath was a crazy fight, with some awesome highlights. The guy who outboxes everyone was forced into a firefight to try to end it before it was stopped on cuts. Before he brought in Sugarhill you hardly ever saw Fury so aggressive. Clearly not at his best for a couple different reasons, he won decisively wile drenched in his own blood. fucking badass
