Great video Sir! Seeing any Dash8 Standard Cab B40's is rare , let alone four in a consist! What a catch and nice commentary along with good drone footage mixed nicely with ground shots! Cheers Gregg.
Behind my house in Old Hickory TN, is a yard where a duo of former Santa Fe B40-8W's work the industries here on the daily! But 4 Standard cab dash 8's is nuts! Great film.
Nice catch of the Minnesota Commercial B39's working extra hard with their HEFTY consist. This was awesome to see 4 of them lashed up. Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
Great video, I like learning about mn commercial and the other short lines in the Twin Cities, since their operations are kinda sporadic and it’s hard to get a sense of how they operate.
I'm not sure what was different but the CREX units seemed to be built better than any other ES44AC's I've operated. They are set up to run either direction, but lot better visibility running forward.
Excellent video as always! Forgive me but I may have asked you this sometime ago: I’ve been wanting to railfan down at Hoffman Ave for the longest time but just haven’t wanted to change it because I have heard it’s pretty difficult now days. I think you had mentioned before that you are ok to park at the Cemstone plant on weekends?
I thought that the Twin Cities interchange agreements from Soo/CPKC restricted WC/CN to carloads originating/terminating from WC lines only. Is this not the case?
In regards to this, CN has always interchanged with the Commercial in New Brighton. I would suspect this train fell into that category. Thanks for the comment, and watching!

Love how their B39s retain the same style of stripes they had in their LMX paint jobs
Love those former LMX horses. Thank you!
Glad you like them! I miss seeing them on the BNSF, but its good to see them alive and well on the Minnesota Commercial.

I sure do love older GE's!
Thx.
Excellent video and narration. Thx.
Glad you enjoyed it, and thank you for the kind words!

I do love to see that belching diesel exhaust at 4:30 mark.
Great video Douglas!
I assume the potash extra made it's westward trek on the CN Minneapolis Sub in WI-MN.
That it did! They ran another one this past Friday, but I wasn't able to see it.
Great video
nice video !
Brilliant video thanks

Great video.
Did the CN extra come through Withrow or down the BNSF Hinckley sub do you think?

Is it bound for tcw or cpkc?
Don't forget to Thumbs up on your way out.
