I played this game until I get a tank level 8 spending a lot of time to get it, enter a party and beging destroyed for a premium tank with like 2 secons of reload, a lot of damage, faster than my tank and almost the same healt. I'll never enter that game again

hm, in a lot of ways War Thunder is better than WoT, but one thing WoT has over WT is... It's actually tank on tank combat only. There is no CAS ruining your day.

Ah old timer here both different play game WoT is arcade and WT is simulator that different WoT dealings with strategies and bigger map WT dealings with hide and seek small strategies and small map

Talking about camouflage and tanks: Not every tank is a leopard, an Abrams or a challenger. Wiesel also exist - and equipped with a TOW launcher is very capable of taking out an MBT. And they're small enough to fit into a garage, drive through the main entrance of a store and fit in-between trees in a forest.
There are some stories of tank commanders being super annoyed, because they got taken out by Wiesel teams over and over in training. One even told a story how they took a short break to scout with their engine on, and a Wiesel parked right next to them and informed them that they got destroyed - without them even hearing the Wiesel
Armored knights vs light infantry moment. But the light infantry have muskets that can go through the armor. History is repeating itself.
Yep the light bulb means you have been spotted, but unlike War Thunder, bushes, camo ratings, and upgrades like camo nets work, so I think you'll have a better chance at stealth play in world of tanks than that War Thunder challenge you did about camo.

No? You can retrain crew to the tank for free. It's literally only a handful of games for the retraining period. Premiums come fully researched so no need to convert free xp.

In order for you to trully capitalize on the benefits of prem tanks, you need gold to convert their accumulated exp to free exp, which again you can use to grind your tech tree tanks, you can research modules or a tech tree tank.
You should try this challenge in war thunder:
You can only use the driver, commander and gunner (the one you enable in settings) sights. No third person, the moment you spawn in you have to use the sights. You essentially become the crew in your tanks
I tried this challenge, its pretty fun.
I'm an officer on WoT which is 7-9 years of service. The game is so filled with complicated bs on empowering your tank and crew its a complete mess for a new player, anyone would struggle to understand because its all dumped on you at once. Between equipment, crew training, consumables, different progress systems and experimental pieces it's all over the place unlike War thunder. I played for a few years before I even knew what War thunder was and after I tried War thunder I never went back until recently as I found out my Uncle who did 20 years active service and 10 years reserve in the Australian Defence Force 2cav actually plays WoTs so I play with him sometimes but if you're a general War Thunder player you may not like tanks just vanishing right in front of you in WoT it's a very arcade game. WoT is like CoD for tanks and War Thunder is more like Squad for tanks ones fast paced like LoL that can sometimes drag out and ones more of a sim feel which gives more immersion. I still don't understand half of what is happening with the systems in WoT with all the currencies etc it puts you at a massive disadvantage compared to how War Thunder works.

War Thunder is more realistic, and World of Tanks is easier to get into.
Ive never seen a youtuber ACTUALLY play WOT, they just get sponsored and never touch it again lmao
I tryed playing WOT of tanks once but it was extremely confusing in my opinion , I don't really mean the gameplay , that's simple , more like the economy part of it and the grind, it appeared more confusing to me with all the types of rounds and how they worked and also quite grindy when it was about buying the repair kits, flame extinguishers and the different type of rounds.
I first tryed WOT then after that a bit later i started Warthunder.
When i started playing Warthunder i think that at the start is not that hard with the economy and grind and in way is much simpler to understand when you start playing it and then you start learning about the economy and the grind .
In my opinion both games are good in their own aspects but i think Warthunder is easier to learn then WOT when it comes about economy and grind strategy at the begining idk about the grind for higher tier tanks in WOT however soo idk how they are different there because , before the economy updates everything was a nightmare for me to grind in Warthunder, but idk how is it in WOT.
I politely disagree wot prepares you for the eternal WT grind for ground only

If there is a few things I can say which WoT SLAMS WT against is clans events and all the free stuff you can get so many people say wot is to hard confusing unrealistic when your comparing WT a game focused on realism over balance while wot is never ending Ww2 arcade also events play them! Waffentrager event is by far the best you can even be the boss for it the rewards you get from Wot events is great but players quit to early cause they think it’s to hard don’t play endlessly on weekends better players are on at those times and clans the Benifit from being in a clan is go good HFI is a great clan to join just have a t3485 and some experience playing the game 48% win rate and 500 battles minimum and the boosters clan give is great also no dumb revenge bombing
I been really enjoying the Russian heavy line in wot it’s one of the most reliable if your looking for armour meta I also enjoy the giant Japanese heavy’s and their derp guns

Just remember, there are two kinds of WoT players: newbies, and unicum elitists who look down their nose at others and are very vocal about it. Everyone else gets tired of the game's BS and stops playing, which is why the game owners give bonuses only to new players.
I wish War Thunder had the fictional element of WoT regarding the vehicles. Just my opinion though.
They just need to make the april fouls modes actual modes. I don't want fiction and realistic mixed up. They should be separated.
I’m watching this from playing WOT console for 50,000 matches and graphics wise pc is definitely the winner as well as a developer that doesn’t ruin the game. But what Wot console has is modern armor, Cold War, and arguably worse random number generator than pc wot. Although both games have vastly different gameplay I’d still rather play War Thunder because it’s more consistent than WOT unfortunately and I’ll never play WOT alone because it’s one of the most toxic games with broken mechanics that haven’t ever been fixed. 😅

Also game makes a lot of RNG balancing. If you win too much then you will get bad team i nnext several matches and ALSO bad accuracy where random is existing and lowest dmg from possible. Thats pretty bad mechanic..
WT is a better simulation, and WoT is a better video game. In war thunder, it is heavily based on luck, and people rarely follow a strategy and care about their roles. In WoT, the game automatically controls the ratio of heavy tank, medium tank, etc. Therefore, it is easy for players to agree up on their startegy. I play both games, and they are both fun in different ways. Many WT players are too judgmental to actually enjoy WoT because they can not get over their ego.
War Thunder is based on luck???? WOT is completely RNG based, there is nothing you can do about what occurs during combat. Aiming and damage is fully out of your control. War Thunder definitely beats Wot in the ‘luck’ department…
@hellono6501 that is fair. But I would argue that the type of luck is different. In WoT, players can act taking the randomness into consideration. But in wt, no matter how good you are, you can still die at any moment. Taking battle royale as example, WoT is like the random items dropped on the ground, and wt is like getting snipped by a camper from miles away.
WoT definitely has glooming flaws (which that certain other game has as well) but it's worth a try.
I'd say, WoT is no Tank sim. It rather wants to be an Arcade Tank Game/RPG. It depends all on preference. And on the topic of graphics: While Warthunder has more realistic Tank Models, I prefer WoTs models. They look a bit more artistic, which however really makes me feel like I am driving a heavy beast made of steel. And for the environment or rather, anything not tank, WoT takes the cake. A
In the end, WoT can be tons of fun, progression might take a while unless you understand all the mechanics like Blueprints and similar that make this process actually way too easy.
But in the end, like I already said, it depends on personal preference.
Who am I kidding, WoT has Chuck Norris, that's all you need to know that it's the best tank game.
