The last few clips are my world of tanks experience in a nutshell. Aim fully, the shell goes above, below, to the left, the right, disappears or just sometimes disappears completely
Took a 4 year break from this game. I’m a 3160 overall wn8 player with 27k battles and I’ve played for the last two weeks and now remember keenly what it feels like to want to smash my keyboard for the exact reasons you stated. Also the whole armor hit no damage shit is pissing me off. What does that even mean?
Also about the CS in normal battles, it can troll "bad players" into getting into shit positions or in positions so early they have no support and make they die with 0 or very low damage
That's nothing, I used to flip in the first 30 seconds when I do not pay enough attention driving it. And of course that happens in front of enemies, because that's how I do it.
It's still the most fun tank to play in the last 2-3 years in WoT.
Thats why i never rush
The aimtime combined with relative bad dispersion values really makes it feel like playing a t9 tank when reaching a position. And I dont really understand why it has so so bad reverse speed. It really does have more cons than most other t10 mediums for some reason.
I still love to play it tho, the gimmick is really enjoyable and lets you do interesting things (YOOOLO!)
Wg should create a attacking tank (or fun battle Mode) where you only can go forth and on sides and have like 0-1 kmh back speed
11:41 i swear this tank even with the pineapple reticle, if it gets seamless mode transfer like the ebr, will defenitely become meta even in pubs. with a campy tank like strv i understand the reason behind the siege mode delay but this is more of an assault medium tank (still dont get it why wg classed it as a "sniper" medium tank even with really average dispersion values lol) so the 2s wait is completely devastating
Yeah sometimes this gun is awfull but the stabilisation is Good same as in the m48 Patton(Good stabilisation but bad dispersion)
That makes these tanks good for pubs and medium range but sniping, meeh. Hell even my Leo1 trolls me with fully aimed circle at long range. Fuckign RNG based aim mechanics.

In the over 10 years I've been playing world of tanks, I've learned The one golden rule, never count on a teammate in random battles . They will let you down every single time.

The aim mechanic in this game is frustrating, unreal, rng not skill based and basically waaaay to big. I would easily halved or even 1/4 the values like 0.34 - 0,17 or 0.085 etc. Aiming time also could be not linear but be regressive like (aiming from 1.5/100m to 1/100m circle faster than from 1/100, to 0.5/100) Also would decrease the 25%+- RNG to 10% in DMG and +-1% in penetration (why the f there is 25% rng in penetration? Do bullets fly slower? no, do bullets weigh less/more? no, So why the f they gave it 25% +- rng xD)

Aiming is not linear, AFAIK aim time is how fast circle size goes down by 1/e (37%) so it's 63% of original size in t=aimtime, 40% at 2*aimtime, 25% at 3 times aim time, 16% at 4*aimtime ... so SkyPigGamer having M53 has six time larger aim circle after firing and it shrinks to original size at roughly 4*aimtime (aimtime=5s) so 20s total.

Just yesterday a 47% CS was driving around me full speed hit me 3 times while I 3 times bounced the side...
I don't know man I like cs gun performance more than my leo 1 because they don't magically disappear alot
I got my accuracy down to like 0.29 in the CS and it's still missing like hell. No fing way is there not a hidden stat in terms of accuracy.
sigma is constant. It's probably pen drop off + shell Speed + shell calibre + bloom
@@NotADuncon And if you snipe or not. Also I found out RNG much more frustrating on tanks with long reload. But I understand it, there are tanks that just feel broken. Charioteer for example: 40% shots hits exactly where I want, 40% are used for killing moles and 20% at least hit the tank somewhere (like tracks or gun mantlet instead of upper plate). But number of shots going to the bottom- or top-most pixel of aim circle seems insane.
@@pavelperina7629 It's usually just a mix of stats we know not hidden stats. There is a great big article about gun mechanics on wotlabs forums I recomend to you.

My second highest medium dpg is in the CS-63. I actually like it a lot. The dispersion penalty values are actually better than the leo 1 and it has the best dispersion on turret traverse at tier 10 I think. The reverse speed sucks so you are forced to use the field mod and turbo lots of games but besides that I think its good.
Yeah, I have around 4,5k too, but I feel like other mediums just offer way more in the long run (121B M60 Leo1)
@@kajzoo yeah I prefer the 121B and I do more in it too And I only like it more than the m60 because it is easier for me to play. I still like it more than the stb though tbh. I like it about the same as the leo

disparity between voiceover and stream audio is earshattering :/
turned the audio up a lot because stream audio is really quiet, but I had to turn it back down very quick at the voiceover part, it was so loud in comparison !!
As usual shell is going in the middle of the aimng circle 95% of the time and no one is schoked by that ...
my issue with the tank is the fact that it's supposed to be super fast (which it is, in turbo mode) but the gun is incredibly bad in turbo mode.
so why does the leopard get to go 70km/h (only 4 less than cs63) but get to keep the great gun handling on the move? cs63 would be soooo much better if it could be even halfway reliable in turbo mode.
Leo doesn't accelerate half as fast as this tank.
Leos acceleration and ground resistances are worse, it will loose a race against CS even with 105 octane and bond turbo (aka "improved compressor")!
CS-63 has 2000HP vs Leos 1800, which makes CS surviving one more hit on average...
They are both classified as sniper mediums, but have completely different roles on the battlefield - due to the lackluster gun, CS-63 should be classified as a "versatile medium", because this gun works on close to medium range, but is total dogshit in long range combat (0,33 dispersion without improved aiming sucks and 315 APCR loose too much penetration on distance, even Leo1's 323 are complicated sometimes)!

Does this reserse speed mean you take the extra reverse top speed but less camo?

Well, i personally will prefer camo over reverse speed most of the time...
With improved bounty Turbocharger, i equal the reverse speed loss of the camo field mod, so i simply gain camo and forward speed in exchange...
Due to CS-63 collects dust in my garage and simply is a CW-only tank (i hate it with all my heart), its just used for fast pushes an therefore i dont need reverse speed 🤣

I feel like with today’s meta, this medium has more influential Carry potential than most mediums because of how important position is to the early game. That early damage on transitioning tanks is just so important. I love your videos, and for the most part the gun seems great! My Leo doesn’t hit every shell either, damn rng. Though that k91 looks tempting !

Field mod and turbo makes the reverse speed a pretty servicable 22 kmh, which I think is enough
But then you are left with no accuracy/dpm/gun handling or survivability

Why ebrs don't have same mechanic with modes switch as this tank is a philosophical question, almost as hard to answer as "why are we here". ;) Only WG's balancing department knows. I'd say the answer is crack. In huge amounts. ;)

can we play CS without v stabilizer? i usually play MTs like leo, udes, m48 with rammer, vents, and some other equipments (like vision, hardening, turbo). cs does not have a good dispersionwhile on moving and turret traverse.
I would say drop vents and take turbo or hp

Really love how you haven't loaded any gold at all! Love content that shows how you can play by actually aiming for weak spots which a lot of TH-camrs at the moment don't possess.

It is all GOLD he is shooting. He does it in most tanks he plays at high tiers.

@@Noodleypup He is great player but moving the ammo over to appear in what is usually the regular slot and then maxing it out is a little deceiving. If he carried a mixed bag of ammo I could see switching the gold to slot 1 but since he only carries gold there is no reason to for the slot switch. He also never mentions anything about all premium ammo during his vids. I am an average player that only shoots gold when it is a must and my rating suffers dramatically for it. I like the skill needed to pen with reg ammo on weak spots more that the rating boost.

Whats the point of this mode, when u can put turbo into slot or use improved turbo? u dont need to waste time in switching modes, you can fire on move, you got more power and bigger top speed all time
idk bout you but i use it because I get the speed without needing to run a turbo, and so I can run something else to boost my gun handling
i only play this tank for rammin people in turbo mod

Over 2sec aim time with 0.33 dispersion simply feels bad on a T10 "sniper"-medium!
The forward speed feels good but the reverse speed sucks, combined with unreliable armor makes this thing only playable in a platoon of two or three...
I will grind the field mods on it, because it is CW-Meta and it will collect dust afterwards!

EBR doesn't get this mechanic for many factors :
-its a light tank
- it's got a 390 alpha at THE
- it's got trash penetration as well as heat round for premium with terrible velocity.
- it doesn't have as much DPM and armor as the CS gets
It's pretty obvious as to why EBR doesn't get the same treatment as the CS...

Not really. These days it's completely different game on tier 10. Tanks are balanced around their gold ammo there. You often need gold to pen "weakspots". If you want to watch some no gold content skill4ltu recently started no gold challenge. Although he is using impossible crews and food for that. So what's the point really.
Do you think he does that much damage just because he fires golds? Stop lying to yourself, he's just good and you're bad. That's it. Even if YOU were to fire only gold rounds, you would never reach even 30% of his skill.
