Me and my friend started an Smma last week. I already run a home service company so we are diving into those. Showing the way you did the free trial ads and giveaways was so helpful and now i feel so much more confident about fulfilling our first client. You guys really are the best smma channel out there.

I am starting out a SMMA in Singapore. I would love and value to win the monthly giveaway to learn even more and understand how to scale this business. As a ex business onset who failed because of not mowing how to grow, I hope I can win it. Also, I have to mention that this is a awesome video and it honestly cleared some clarifications which were some hurdles that were demotivating and questioning myself of a SMMA business. Great content!!

Your channel feels like its so much more direct because of the smaller fan base. When you look at people like Iman all their videos are as generic as possible to appeal to his crazy huge audience, but then take someone like you or Jorden Platten that show you get better with actual step by step action plans that are realistic for a nobody to follow.

100% we want this channel to be laser focused. Someone could watch theses videos, take action, and start making money today. Both David and I have personal TH-cam channels where we’ll talk about our personal broader interests, but this is the classroom, where you can hone your skills 💯

A lot of the things said in this video were eye openers for me starting my SMMA. One of the main takeaways I got out of it was the emphasis on education and going to networking meetups. The value of meeting people and soaking up information and forming new connections doesn’t have a limit and you guys opened up my eyes to that in this industry. Most definitely a great video!!

I really like the "insource" vs "outsource. Everyone is preaching outsource all these businesses so its a breath a fresh air learning you can do it your self to get started and then grow from there.

I just recently started my agency and it’s been a rollercoaster lol. I took on two clients instead of just one for the trial and getting used to the software and overthinking about campaigns has been a lot but I liked how you simplified it especially with canva, and showing it’s not as big of a hurdle as it might seem. So thank you !!

AMAZING- your video taught me why focusing on lead generation is the best approach when securing my first clients. I didn't realize that building a brand, and focusing on organic content, would have such a long lead time before anything tangible was realized. Clients want results quickly. A list of leads delivers exactly that. Extremely helpful video, thank you for providing this content for free!!

The bestest thing that i got is to just go for it instead of keep fighting with your limiting believes like to build a fancy website, and logo and stuff, but i already figured it out i already setup my social media accounts for my agency and posting and reaching out to biz owners, so the limiting belief that i had was that i need a full system of COLD EMAIL outreach, then i thought i can just outreach people on social media platforms by visiting their websites and finding their social media accounts and then reach them. thank you so much man gonna watch more vids of yours.
And also i told everything above, now i want a giveaway call bro.

The one thing that I found the most valuable from this video is the 'Insourcing' method of growing and scaling your team for your agency.
The concept of knowing the game and training people yourself is much better while running a business, that way people can't fool you and most importantly you do not have to depend on someone else to run your business.
    Great video Guys!

Watching a 30-minute video is usually a challenge, but your content managed to captivate my attention right from the start, keeping me engaged until the very end. Your insightful analysis of the topic provided answers to some of the most pressing questions I had been struggling with. Breaking down complex concepts into smaller, understandable pieces was a game-changer, especially for someone like me who is new to this field.
Your attention to detail, from mentioning the importance of a professional email, website and other crucial elements, added a practical dimension to the information you shared. The tip about not narrowing down into one niche initially was particularly enlightening and has given me a clear starting point as I venture into establishing my own SMMA.
I'm genuinely grateful for the valuable insights you provided, and I'm eager to implement your tips as I kickstart my own journey in the world of social media marketing. Thanks a bunch for the invaluable information!

Hey, I'm coming from a door-to-door sales background looking to own something and start my own business and cashflow. This has been one of the most comprehensive videos I've watched in relation to starting an SMMA and I've saved it to look back on, so thank you for that. One very important key takeaway from this video is to not BEGIN by outsourcing but to start to learn the field yourself. It makes sense even though most videos I've watched encourage the opposite, but it always stumped me because I didn't think that would be sustainable. Slow and steady growth is still growth and it seems to be more stable at that. I would love the opportunity to hop on a call with you to discuss a few of my plans and next steps, if this video offered me the value that it did, I can't imagine how much it would help to focus my direction even more. Thanks again.

I already planned on doing a trial period to get people to at least give me a chance but I think the giveaway is brilliant because it gives business owners leads they can use instead of just an increase in followers or engagement which can translate to profits later but I know a lot of business owners will see value in this right away!
    Thank you!

Hi David, I am a teenager from Myanmar who is trying to start an SMMA business. Your video teach me things that i didn't knew things about, answered questions i was confused about and an example of a valuable advice from this video is how simple to literally make advertising pictures and that way to create facebook ads, thank you for your video that really helped me.

I am just beginning at this time. I have watched many videos and different channels. I have to say the information you give out is unreal. Not just that, but the way to start meeting potential clients, the networking aspect through meetup, the tip about not using a G-mail. All terrific tips. I particularly like how to use Canva for setting up a campaign. Definitely going to check out your course. Thankyou

What i found valuable, was the point of when starting out, to not just choose a niche, but to take time and figure out what niche would work best for myself.

Love it! Took two pages of notes. I learned: How to pick a business name, why to avoid Gmail for my new email, how to quickly build a landing page website, how to pick and sell to the right, first client, the potential cons of outsourcing too quickly, how to focus on the pipeline and service offering, why it's important to know how to do what you will be asking your team to do, and lastly, how it can all be possible! Thank you!

The thing that resonated with me the most was the fact I need to stop procrastinating and just start. I have been watching videos on SMMA for months and not doing anything. Just bought a domain, google workspace email, and made a logo with canva. Made the website with the free google sites for now lol. Going to start trying to do out reach through emails to local businesses in my area to offer the 1 week free trial. I need to figure out how to make a facebook ads account which I am going to look into now.

BOOM - I love hearing this. It's really as simple as that. One foot in front of the other, step by step, getting off the sidelines and into the game. Very exciting to see you take action and I'm excited to see what you build. Let us know if you need any resources along the way, we've got plenty of free content here you can further dig into for support and our course. - Pumped for you!!

This is exactly what I needed. I just lost my job as a traditional children's books illustrator to Ai generated content that's flooding that market and I thought I should try this stuff. I've been designing posters and advert videos for local small business and the responses I'm getting show that these people need their businesses advertised. I'm kenyan and this type of business has almost no competition and I think I'll do this and see how it goes. Thanks for the information and I really need help starting this.

i recently launched by business and during the whole planning process i had planned to just outsource the work that comes my way but i have changed my mind and chosen to first insource the work as this is better in the long run and i have to remember that this is a long term establishment not short term so working with long term in mind is beneficial.

This was great, man. My key takeaway was when you mentioned being hesitant about pitching a high dollar quote to clients. This has felt like a barrier of entry for me thus far as I have struggled to come up with pricing tiers that aren’t too expensive, and won’t scare leads away, but pay me what my time and effort are worth.

Thank you Derek! My biggest takeaway from this was your last chapter, who and when to add to the team. The walkthrough with what do do is clear enough for anyone to get started it seems. Thank you for putting this together and sharing it so others can start and grow in the industry.

I found the giveaway method paired with the method of lead generation extremely helpful. I went into this business with the idea that id have to make content and websites for people but the idea of lead generation gave me the idea to make packages for clients to choose from with lead generation being the most basic and inexpensive option while content creation and website help/design being a more time consuming yet profitable option. I appreciate this video truly THIS IS FREE GAME.
