The Engine's top-end and gearbox are derived straight from the Iron 883 while the gearbox has received a rework, the top-end is pretty much an exact replica from the 883 architecture.

Hi, the engine development was done in collaboration with the prototypes being built in India and sent to USA for validation and further inputs by H-D engineers.
I have bought this bike...and feels great... handling, comfort, features...all are good. I have read a few comments in which the viewers are saying that hero launched this bike and forgot... I also completely agree with them...such great bike must be promoted otherwise triumph, RE will eat up the market... BTW great review...and also wanted to tell that I have purchased Acko Insurance for my new mavrick bike
Hello Sanket, how is the bike, some said sale is going down month on month, it will be out of the market, nobody is buying, you will not get spare parts etc. What's your honest views?
@@deepk82 The bike is very good as I mentioned the comment above. I think the coming festive season will compensate the going down sales.. and talking about the spare parts. I think this won't be a issue.
Hi sanket Would you personally recommend this bike to beginner riders or not And also how is the heat management of the motorcycle Just as a reference point ??
The only problem is the price as it directly competes with Triump speed 400 which has almost same price. So people would definitely hesitate to buy hero bike at the price when Triumph is available.
Thanks for the feedback and appreciation. The whole idea of keeping the helmet in the frame is to promote safety and safe riding, something which is very dear and crucial for Acko Drive. Why hero is not aggresiively promoting these bikes??I havent seen an Ad of this bike or even the karizma in television..Somehow Hero after launching a bike seems like forget to promote that..
Why is the fuel tank only 13.5? That provides max 360km. I think bike with an economy of 20-30 should always come with 15lt tank. I ride rtr 160, crusing at 90-95 it provides a mileage of 45, that gives me a range of 500-550km.
Every bike indeed has its pros and cons. I purchased a Hero Mavrick 440 just 2 months ago, and unfortunately, I've encountered multiple issues within this short period. In these 2 months, I've had to visit the service center 12 times. So far, the ECU, throttle body, and gear position sensor have all been replaced. Now the horn, hazard & speedometer is not working. The bike is showing new issues every week. I hope this helps anyone planning to buy the Mavrick 440 to make an informed decision.
Hi, sorry to hear the issues that you're facing with the Mavrick, hope Hero has been prompt with fixing your issues. Reliability of the bike was a concern for me as mentioned in the verdict, hoping that Hero fixes these quality issues in the next lot of production.
Hero should just bring back Karizma ZMR , that bulky and beautiful bike. If you put fat types on it, it looks like a super bike. Truly legend 😍😍. New Karizma looks so wierd and small in comparison.
The Hero Karizma clears deserves a bigger engine and proper makeover, especially given the fact that the Bajaj Pulsar is now available with an almost 400 cc engine in the form of the NS400Z.
Man, I wonder why no one notices that hideous dummy left switch cube on the left. It feels so obnoxiously cheap, like the older cars where they used to give you a bucket load of dummy buttons on the lower trims, to make you feel bad about the features you don't have.
Hahaha we did, the actual reason is that the switch gear is shared with the Harley X440 that gets switch cubes, which is missing on the bike and hence the empty space.
@@ArunNadar-AckoDrive Hahaha, I figured that out, but they should've came out with a better solution for their so called "Flagship Bike". I believe it's the little details like this, which differentiates between a premium and an average product.

An important correction:
It is primarily a Hero engineered product - the chasis, engine and all. HD joined later and worked on designing X440 styling.

Now it's time that Harley Davidson pushes the engine in HD Pan Americana Chasis and give is a dhansu bike.

For me as a short rider, short seat height is a feature, not a bug
We have to present both the aspects, for a short rider, it's a benefit while a tall rider might find it cramped.
