Thank you so much Amazing Restoration! I discovered this brand Nylint - really a good solid one, shame they do not make them like this anymore but luckily they are around to be restored!
Thank you - love these big construction toys - currently working on Tonka loader but man do they have a lot of parts but at least they are big - I admire your work with smaller items that is hard!
Chuck - that is a good point - the window always takes a lot of effort - next time I will make a section on it. Thank you for your kind comments and thank you for watching!
Looks good. With all that rust, I wonder why you didn't soak it in Evapo-rust or something similar. With all those folds in the body work, I wonder if the rust proofing spray penetrated.
The company must've used JB Weld on that on piece bcause there's no welds showing,so they probably put it on those 2 pieces & clamped it down, surprised that you didn't white letter the tires
Justin - yes this one was tricky - this one was an older work and I think I did do white Tonka lettering on some other Tonkas. Thank you for having a look and commenting.
Hello fellow restorer - I agree - Nylints are made really well and with so many parts man - took long to restore it but was worth it - thank you for watching!
Hello Terry - I agree this Nylint was one of the most rusty I had but it was definitely satisfying to bring it back to life! I am glad you enjoyed watching and thank you !

Yes, Nylint does weld parts together. I use spot weld cutters to separate parts then rivet back together.

That truck was a rusty mess. But that's what's fun to watch. If you took on easy projects, your videos would be boring.
