Anybody that wants to hear the engine run go directly to 15:25 enjoy!
I envy you i wanted a late 90s 4runner with the most reliable v8 ever made, this is one of the cooler and mindful swaps ive seen
if you change the car to an after market that breaths batter it will be cheaper and get better gas millage as well and it will get a big more tork
Literally my dream swap for my '96 Limited. Typical purist may get a bit 'peeved' but I just think it was meant to be.
great video my guy way better than most build videos I've come across you've inspired me to start the 1uz build does your 2nd gen have its own IG page?
hi, no i dont have instagram sorry and the truck is out of commission due to the ecu causing alot of issues. Thanks !
Got a 94 3.0 been looking for about 2 years and this is the build route I want to go! Thanks man any pointers or headaches you can save me?
Are you having any troubles so far ?
I love my 93 more than any item ive ever owned, it was my grandfathers car, then fathers and now mine. I cant decide if i want to upgrade to the 3.4l or 1uz. My main concern is keeping the gear shifter/interior untouched. It looked like you were able to do that but i just wanted to make sure
I want to swap this motor in my 94 but I don't want it 4x4. I live in Georgia and I'm not about the off-road life I just want reliable power. I'm rasing two kids on my own and I want something that will last . My question is what transmission do I need to look into.
It's soooo much easier to keep it 2wd
Just buy ls400 and keep the auto, all you need is a longer drives driveshaft. Keeping it auto and buying a donar car is the cheapest route
@@rookieadventures7813 not a fan of automatic . but if the auto transmission is reliable enough I guess it's a option. My main upgrade would be electrical. Alternator and such. I'm a audiophile/bass head.
Hey man i have one of the same truck and do want to swap the engine, my question is does the A340H tranny doesn't work with that engine or the one you have performed better ?
Ditto
3rd gen is the best. No if and no 3.0 swap lol.
Upgrade the brakes before you SC it 😅🤙🏼
What color are the wheels?
