    Lyrics:
    Chorus:
Caleb was a mountain man, did the things mountain men do.
Slept in the forest, lived off the land Oh Caleb wont you take me with you.
    Verse 1:
The Indians talk of a man, who hunted and trapped in grizzly land, And with the Indians Caleb would share the meat and fur of the grizzly bear.
Caleb lived in the mountains green, talked with the birds and walked in the streams Caleb was a happy man you see for the life of a mountain man is free.
    Chorus (again)
    Verse 2:
The day Caleb left was sunny and blue, he went a hunting no one knew That today was his last day in natures hand, his last day spent in this beautiful land.
Caleb turned around there was a grizzly bear on his hind legs 10 feet tall.
He clinched his teeth, pulled his knife and fought for his mountain life.
    Bridge (Guitar only)
    Verse 3:
When the fighting was over the bear was dead, Caleb was on the ground his coat was red.
Just before he died he looked up in the sky and said "Lord, do you have a place for the grizzly and I?
    Chorus (again)
