As usual, 90% of these clips wouldn't even be around if the bikers were going the same speed as traffic around them.

Why would a bike go the same speed as traffic?…That’s why we’re on motorcycles, to ride through the traffic 🤡 it’s legal to go 20mph over speed of traffic in split states bud. So before you get over, get off your phone, and use your eyes.

Toronto Squids seems like an ass, I get that the pedestrians were crossing on a green, but they have right of way. You notice the car in the right lane was not blaring their horn.
I agree, that was a clown move on the motorcyclist revving his engine like he was gonna run them over. 🙄

On the other hand pedestrians are supposed to wait for the “walk now” light and to not just cross when they think it’s clear, it’s how people get killed. There was clearly a crosswalk w/a light sign they they ignored completely.
Just mentioning that this one could have gone very very bad for everyone involved.
@@1MaximusDecimusMeridius1 You are not wrong. But the reality is, this is common, COMMON in cities with a lot of people, and to expect different is simply ignoring reality. Guy was trying to detonate his engine, instead of simply slowing down even stopping and then if he is still pissed lay on the horn.

Some of these clips are showing where car drivers are being unaware, and I completely understand that riders are in a constant battle against people that do not see them in mirrors. However, other times the bikers put themselves in situations that normal road vehicles should not normally be in. Who the heck normal person would shoot the gap at 0:11 between a near stopped car and another car turning into the right lane? Or why would the biker get pissed at 2:52 when he's going many miles faster than the stopped lane and even accelerating past them? They are already hard to see in mirrors (which is probably why a lot of people have these seemingly dumb driver moments), but imagine combining that with the straight-line quickness and agility of a motorcycle (2:35, for example). The biker could not be there one second and then there the next, because a lot of bikers use the fact that they're on two wheels to their advantage (like 5:39). It's a dangerous game they play and - even if their reactions are off of pure adrenaline - is kind of annoying seeing them get angry/frustrated at situations they should not be in a normal driving situation.
Bro I wasn’t angry he pulled out in front of me, the guy was on his phone. And he also heard me and sat on the line to block me from passing. That shit isn’t cool. Should have taken his mirror for risking lives on his phone in traffic but I just told him to look is all. Also is closer then appears with hyperview he was 15 feet from me

Its a bitch move considering when anyone does it they usually flee, Its a criminal act and makes the cager hate bikers even more. Quite often these riders are blaming the car for their! own bad riding habits. CARS CAN'T ALWAYS SEE YOU. IT'S UP TO YOU! TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN A SAFE RIDING POSITION AND WATCH FOR THOSE WHO DON'T SEE YOU! Man I'm tired of this. I drive a car also and have had idiots on bikes who were riding too fast and lane splitting bitch at me! when I was making a legal lane change and did in fact look but did not see them because they came up suddenly after I began my lane change, turn or what have you. A lot of these guys are blaming the car when in fact it's their own fault for riding like idiots.

Idk man, even if lane splitting is legal, if youre going 30mph over the speed limit, dont be surprised if you get cut off and die in the wreck. Drivers are not reasonable required to watch a half mile behind them for some jackass doing 120.

genuine question - are you allowed to undertake in highways? we are not in the uk, though people do it all the time. it looks like a free for all on usa roads.
Not sure what undertaking is/ means in the UK, but if it is the same as overtaking (I think it is), then yes. It is generally legal here so long as it’s not a double yellow line, which constitutes a non crossable median.
@@Eric-469 we are supposed to drive on the left unless over taking - not stay in any old lane and cars get past by weaving. this way, theoretically, you won’t have a bike trying to pass you on the inside in your blind spot. we still drive like this but other drivers get annoyed if you stay in the middle lane and are moving slower than the inside lane. you will get beeped. doesn’t seem to be that way in the usa. hence lots of bikes get turned into. shrug.
@@DexterDexter123 so it’s kind of the same here then, just on the right. On the highways, slower traffic is supposed to stay to the right so faster traffic can pass on the left. Sounds like neither system works then shrug.

In the first case, if you hit someone you are at fault, no matter if the light is green or not. Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way. At least here in the states.
John Crow. Keep riding like that and you will be in the morgue. As you so well pointed out they had a signal on. Your clutch should have already been in. Right or wrong you should have realized they were going to be a problem possibly and prepared for that. Are you a new rider? Please! look up some safe riding technique videos and get a training course.
I think people in cars take advantage of their vehicles size and weight to bully riders quite often. I deal with it every time I ride. Makes ya want to remove them from the vehicle and slap some act right into em.
It's a battlefield out there, always on defense! But I have to say, I have ZERO sympathy whatsoever for riders zipping through high traffic areas with multiple in/out accesses and intersections and are shocked to have a slow-moving vehicle pull out in front of them, passing on a double-yellow only to be met with the back end of a truck waiting to turn, or going 80mph in the right lane of a highway and get all pissed-off because he has to swerve to avoid speed limit obeying traffic. Sometimes you guys on rice-burners are bigger assholes than entitled bicyclists on 10speeds.

These are obviously inexperienced riders who think they can pass on solid yellow lines or shoot between cars. If you look most are on small sport bikes and usually young riders.
