Remember Jericho is a guy who isn't afraid to confront BROCK LESNAR backstage. Goldberg is nothing to him lol Also this is why Goldberg will never have his retirement match in the WWE. He and Hunter hate each other with a burning passion.
No Ultimate Warrior is the most hated wrestler. Goldberg may not be a technical wrestler but he did wrestled better than Warrior because he tried to. Goldberg loves and appreciates his fans. He’s stated it multiple times. Warrior never gave a shit at all and was full of himself. The whole Bret Hart thing was unfortunate and you can’t blame Goldberg for being sick of saying sorry after this many years. When you can tell it really bothers him.
Yeah its kind of unfortunate that because Goldberg was so popular and wasnt always easy to work with at one time he gets all the flak like other wrestlers didn't seriously hurt their opponents or end their careers and get no long last flak from it. Psychosis.
Goldberg was one of my favorites of the time. I wished he did the comedy angle with Chris Jericho. That would have been awesome. I seent a whole thing on that from Jericho's perspective. When he got into the fight with Goldberg he was terrified and screaming to the other wrestler's "help, he is going to kill me." Years later, learning about him being a prude with that angle and him blaming Regal and injuring The Hitman, pass. Goldberg was actually concussed before his match with The Undertaker. Him charging the ring post made it significantly worse. He already had no clue what was going on because of the 1st concussion.
I can't front, I was at fastlane in Milwaukee the night Goldberg beat K.O. the fan in me loved it cuz it was the first time I saw him live but once the reality set in it didn't make sense because they just made him drop the title to Brock and ultimately K.O. goes on an 8 year drought, it was pretty messed up
Man, tbh so many people blame Goldberg for not being the best wrestler or not being good in the ring/being technical, for what happened to Bret (tho imo there were other things along with that kick that contributed to his concussion imo (like chair shots, his sharpshooter or leg lock on the turnbuckle where he smashed his head on ground basically, and other things im sure. But tbh, if you really wanna blame anyone for all of these things happening and for Goldberg being so green in the ring and all, then blame WCW for pulling him out of the Power Plant so esrly knowing he was still super green, and maybe even the Power Plant itself cause i mean, idk what all types of training they were actually doing back then. I always said i wish OVW and Jim Cornette would've been around back then to really go in depth with Bill and really show him the ropes, have other GREAT wrestlers around to help train him correctly (and not treat the training more like a football camp with wrestling moves thrown in there lol). I feel if he could've been trained by the right people, a lot of these things may could've been avoided and also he could have been much better in the ring and able to have more than a 3 min match.
From the interviews I've seen of Goldberg, my impression of him is that he's the typical employee with no initiative, like NO initiative at all, he's always in a corner waiting for someone to give him an order and he cries when someone criticizes him, and that's probably what makes him so “hated”, years in the business and never evolving, because he never wanted to.
My favourite Goldberg match was DDP versus Goldberg at Halloween havoc my second one is Hogan versus Goldberg wcw and I guess the storyline with Chris Jericho and Goldberg was good
I cannot blame the booking on him. Y’all say he’s a one trick pony, but that one trick pony is still a bigger box office that half of the damn locker room today. Yeah, he made mistakes, who has it? At the end of the day, Goldberg is one of the greatest superstars, and ifthere was a top 100 superstar list in Wwe history he would be on that list as well

So, who is really to blame here? Goldberg or the people who knew his deficiencies but still offered the job? I would've taken the money, too. Who says, "Let's sign this guy with no experience and make him the main event." His best matches were against DDP and Sting
He maybe hated but its mostly coming from the Internet. Just go look how many videos people make on it every week on TH-cam. The thing is the Internet makes up a very small portion of the entire worlds population. I've noticed since Bill isn't wrestling much anymore. The rise in negativity towards him. When he came back in 2016 i believe it was ? They was a influx of love and support for him. It lasted up until about 2021 2022. Around the time of his match with Taker in Saudi Arabia. People need to understand Bill had Covid around this time. He wasnt even scheduled to be on this event. This was a favor to Vince McMahon. Unfortunately Bill gave himself a concussion head butting a door/wall. I know people will make fun of that. I respect it because he takes his gimmick seriously. I think he hurt himself during the match as well. Most of the chatter is him almost hurting Taker. What's left out is Taker has admitted he had gotten alot older and wasnt firing on all cylinders. He almost dropped Bill as well on his head. Mistakes happen it isnt balle as they say. Notice not one time has Taker said anything bad about it. This says it all. Its mostly people on here. Thst pretend to be offended by everything. And, jump on every little thing like sheep. I love Bret The Hitman Hart. I mean no disrespect to him. Most of it comes from his comments towards Bill. Which i get and understand him. I get why hes bitter towards the business. Between The Montreal Screw Job, Owen dying,Bulldog dying so young, and his terrible experience in WCW. Trust me i understand. Like I was saying accidents happen in this business. Some of our favorite Professional Wrestlers have accidentally hurt their opponents. Sting injury Rick Rude ending his career in Japan,Stone Cold injuring Masahiro Chono in Japan. Then you got the Dilo Brown Droz situation(Rest In Peace Droz🙏🏻.) Rest in peace Owen Hart we all know what happened with Austin. Have you ever heard anyone from the receiving end speak negatively about it ever ? Steve Austins career was cut short. Yet hes never spoke negatively about it. When Owen was alive or after. I don't even like bringing that up. Because i feel so dang bad about what happened to Owen 🙏🏻. But, i feel context always matters in these situations. The Taker and Haku/Meng is what their hung up on. Neither Mark Callaway or King Haku have ever said a bad word about Bill. Alot of is people minding their own business. We as humans worry about stuff that has 0 to do with our lives.
The thing is wcw not give Goldberg proper time to train they just bring him into their power plant (training facility) and then quickly send him to the show in few weeks of time and not to forget his first matches are with low tier jobbers which are obviously squash matches all he is doing so obviously he cant learn wrestling to be on that good level if he came in the bussiness quickly and then just in squash matches which is perfect for his character but not for growth of wrestling skills
goldberg got more dudes under than over. he could have sold for guys and had good matches in which he beat guys and the loser still looked good. he was criminally stiff with guys. the man was not a good in ring talent. look at goldberg vs lesnar in their 1st match. you had 2 guys who refused to sell harder than dan spivey lol
Bro this dude just loves roasting wrestlers, like he doesn't have anything good to say about a good amount of them. Especially if they're a main eventer. And these videos he makes shouldn't be called "why such and such is the most hated in wrestling." It should be called "why I hate such and such, and why you should too."
people that hate on Goldberg are just jealous that he got over so quick and more then they was Goldberg was and is still a legit badass....BTW how are people not hating on guys like HHH Cena HBK ect that did nothing but play politics to get the spots they did

News Flash Asuka can actually wrestle
Goldberg is my 2nd Fav wrestler....He also overstayed his welcome and needs to retire....
I never understand how that super kick injured bret it looks like a regular super kick now a days
The real winner in this video is GUNTHER😂😂😂
Yeah cuz Golberg can’t wrestle. He looks the part but can’t play the part.
Who’s watching this after Hunter bringing back Goldberg lol
Why Goldberg is most hated?
The fiend..Kevin Owen's
Goldberg is the WORST for business.....but I get it.
Dude really hate goldberg 😂
Gunther's favorite lmfao
All I see is overrated to me
Aged well…
Old berg never had it never did little miss thin skin
goldberg got more dudes under than over. he could have sold for guys and had good matches in which he beat guys and the loser still looked good. he was criminally stiff with guys. the man was not a good in ring talent. look at goldberg vs lesnar in their 1st match. you had 2 guys who refused to sell harder than dan spivey lol
Idk who's worse him or ryback lol. 😆 🤣 😂
Both ultimate tag team 😅
Bro this dude just loves roasting wrestlers, like he doesn't have anything good to say about a good amount of them. Especially if they're a main eventer. And these videos he makes shouldn't be called "why such and such is the most hated in wrestling." It should be called "why I hate such and such, and why you should too."
I hate Goldberg for this match
I thought most of the Goldberg hate stemmed from his 2016 return squashing KO, and then continuing to take major matches all the way into the 2020s.
people that hate on Goldberg are just jealous that he got over so quick and more then they was Goldberg was and is still a legit badass....BTW how are people not hating on guys like HHH Cena HBK ect that did nothing but play politics to get the spots they did
This.
Oldberg 👎🏼
Finally first
I still fucks with Goldberg although he fuck up sometimes he still a goat in my book💯💪🏾
Goldberg was already a household name before professional wrestling, he was in the NFL Goldberg was a celebrity
Goldberg is a legend screw what people think
In his own mind maybe
@@sergiolangston5540 no he’s legend accept it kid
He's a overrated goof.
@@Keepitpush99 ur mama is
@@jonathandelacruz8358can’t hear a word ur saying with ur head so far up oldberg’s ass 😂. He was an overrated meathead who self concussed, nearly lost his own arm to a limo window and was shit at wrestling. Truth clearly hurts stuck up fanboys like u..
I never really understood the hatred for the guy. The only time i believe everyone hated him was like in the 80s or something when he accidentally put up another wrestler boots or something like that?
Bro what? He wasn’t even an active wrestler in the 80s he still had football dreams up until he joined wcw in 1997. He knew nothing about the business & should’ve done a lot of training but they just let him did whatever & he was reckless & had an ego problem. He basically killed Bret Harts wrestling career with a kick to the head that gave him a nasty concussion & the next night against Bret (again) u can physically see Bret doesn’t wanna wrestle him again & he’s in serious pain & has to retire immediately. Goldberg sucks
