I’d start with bloodborne if you have a ps4 or ps5. If you don’t then there isn’t really a correct order. Sekiro is a standalone title that has almost nothing to do with the fighting style of the other souls games, so you can pick it up whenever you want. Ds1 and Ds3 have to be played in that order because of chronology. Ds2 has different story and by far, is the worst souls games of all, but still nice to play. After playing al Dark souls and getting very familiar with the combat, I’d go for Elden Ring, mainly for one reason: I consider it to be the hardest souls game if you play it summon less( without online help from other players) and without spirit ashes (npcs that you summon and help you). Hope I was clear🥴 I think my writing was pretty ass here lmao
this why i don’t get why FromSoft doesn’t even at least bother to come back to BB and do something to it for the fans. All these years later and ppl are still “promoting” the game and ppl continue to play it. i gave up honestly hoping for a 60fps remaster or a complete remaster for the game. I’m just gonna ignore it and hopefully one day it catches me off guard and see that it’s been remastered. Maybe in 2025 idk
@@kavid8120thats because bbs fanbase is really small, and sales and longevity is garbage compared to its big and little brothers elden souls, theres a reason why u see laughably more lore and videos in general for the other games compared to bb, not to mention many othr game devs talk about their inspiration and admiration of dark souls and even elden ring, practically no one talks about bb except the bb fanbase thats desperate to convince everyone its the best souls game for some reason. the game sold like garbage too, and most ppl that got it for free through PS services didnt even get through gascoine if trophy data is anything to go by. really the bb fanbase just exaggerate their praise of this game, overall its a pretty mediocre souls game and the overhyping of its fanbase doesnt do it any favors. overall its a pretty irrelevant and inconsequential game all things considered, the sony suits crunched the numbers, factored in the difficulty of actually porting it/remastering it with its worse-than-ds1 spaghetti code and realized not alot of ppl would actually buy a bb remaster unlike a DS1 remaster, which sold 8 million so far, almost triple bbs lifetime sales. only a small percentage of the fromsoft fanbase would buy a bb remaster, hell even after elden rings success, demons souls remake is still sitting at about 2 million units sold, bb would probably be slightly less or more, but not by much.
You should play in the last week of March/first week of April. That's the anniversary of the release and a lot of Bloodborne communities play through then so there's more people online.
Bloodborne and dark souls 3 helped me with my depression. I can't explain it, but i think it takes your focus off your problems and teaches you to keep trying no matter how hard it is. You eventually will triumph.
DS3 is FromSoft’s best game. Combat, environmental storytelling, perfect bookend to the trilogy, Best bosses & the OST is the best in any video game I’ve ever played.
Bloodborne became a 'comfort game' for me for this same reason. It becomes familiar and helps you break through your personally perceived barriers. ...I also find it much smoother and find the combat more enjoyable than sekiro
Not only this, but as someone with terrible ADHD, this game helps my brain learn to maintain focus, which just seems to improve all aspects of my life. That in combination with the sense of accomplishment is just invaluable for people who aren't neurotypicial.
Bloodborne has been my first souls game and is still my favourite. Even after all my time playing it I'm still terrified of the upper cathedral ward. Those brain suckers just give me the creeps
Those brainsucker placements are sinful af. You got like 1 or 2 in straight hallways where you cannot evade their blue spheres that trap you unless you time the dash nicely to take advantage of the i-frames. Then you have that one on the second floor that is backturned to you so you think mmmmhh easy stealthy kill, but nah it’s a trap!!!!!
Cool, thats good it has so much replay ability. I have 150 something hour's, beat about 6, 7 times. Did chalice dungeons all twice. Havent played dlc yet, so that should be fun.Great game
The amount of people coming back myself included is insane. Normally i don't do multiple playthroughs but this is my first and i have dark souls 3 and Elden Ring (which i bought upon release)
Just started an Arcane build yesterday. This game has gotten BETTER after coming back to it after playing multiple fromsoft games *bloodborne was my introduction to fromsoft*
The only game I've 100%ed. Loved the gameplay. Recently learnt more about the lore. I know that Miyazaki drew upon some strong artistic influences but the overall universe, storyline and delivery of story detail and clues within the game is genius level.
Great video! After platinum’ing, the chalice dungeons become one of my favorite things to revisit on subsequent playthroughs. Create a random one and see what’s around the corner, or farm rare blood gems.
One of the few games I was motivated to platinuming. I started the game a day or two before Halloween in 2015 and it blew my mind how much I loved the world. I played an arcane build and was surprised when people claimed that Orphan of Kos was one of the hardest alltime soulsborne bosses given that I beat him on my first try. On the otherhand, I spent a couple of weeks trying to beat Laurence, The First Vicar. I still have the game installed on my PS4 pro so I can occassionally log on and hang out at the Hunter's Dream with the Moonlight Melody playing. Anytime I have trouble sleeping, that track is one of my go to songs to easily fall asleep peacefully.
@@ComYuriY Yeah he was a real pain. Its funny how you mention the annoyance of dying to Martyr Lagarius and having to run back to him, because I remember that fight and being very annoyed with that too. It reminded me of the worst run back to a boss fight I have ever experienced which was Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire on the Boba Fett stage. That one was the most insanely brutal runback to a boss fight ever and when you beat Boba Fett you would then have to beat his Slave Ship in a second boss fight. It was insanely hard and you had to do a bunch of annoying jetpack platforming for like 20 minutes just to reach him again.
It still amazes me that people criticise the blood vial system when actuallyyou can simply buy infinite blood vials right from the get go. Instead of spending all your souls on levelling up, try doing a 80/20% split. Spending 20% of your blood echoes on blood vials every time you go to level up will make sure that you never run out of them and making your life so much easier
The reason you have to keep going back to the HUB area is because of the conversations you can have with the Doll and Gehrman, after certain events take place in game.
Without even watching your video I can say it's still amazing, it's one of my all time favorites. I just played it twice a month ago. I tried an arcane build which I've never done before, it was a bit tedious but the payoff was outstanding.
Thanks for the love❤️ Every video has to represent an improvement regarding the last one. In a month or so I want to watch this one and say, damn this one sucks😂
This was a great video man. It was in depth, analytical, and had humor mixed in. I love listening to other people review/examine one of my favorite games of all time, keep it up, i’ll subscribe too
u really appreciate the boss music in this game because the music is used sparingly, the gameplay is king, nothing really scratched the itch ever since. idk why sony is holding this game hostage and not giving us a pc port, this exclusive sold many ps4 console and sony keeps disrespecting it. #justiceforbloodborne
Exactly. The community screams for a sequel or a port or whatever. It has more activity than games that came out recently like meet your maker, Dead Island 2, Monster Hunter Rise, it’s crazy…
Ds1 was my first, elden ring was my second only a month after beating ds1, then after 6 months of elden ring i bought Bloodborne because of all the things i had been hearing about it. Didnt like it at first cause of healing, but after a second try a few weeks later it became my favorite game of all time. Sitting at 1.8k hours rn. Done every build possible, done some challenge runs, and i love every piece of lore within the game, (and explaining it to people) masterpiece
of all the games ive played bloodborne is probably my top 5 for favorite games ever, maybe number 1. It has everything I like in a video game, and then some. It's also a very focused experience despite the interconnected map, it didnt feel bloated. Aesthetically and narratively it is untouchable imo, as a HP lovecraft buff i like the take on cosmic horror here, while mixing it up with action. And the twist when you really learn whats happening is one of the most scariest, dreadful moments ive experienced in a video game.
another point to why i think bloodborne nails it with the world design is the hunters dream. the peaceful melody just feels like a real safe haven cause you know you are safe from all the horrors you see outside of it. the world of bloodborne is gruesome and horrifying and exactly that makes the hunters dream feel so special.
My top hub zone for sure. The only thing I like more about the others are that more characters arrive and you can talk to them, do quests for them, etc… in the dream there’s only Gerhman and the doll.
@@ComYuriY yeah i loved elden rings roundtable. its cool to see all those characters. in bloodborne it was kinda just confined to the church where you send all the npcs to
@@ComYuriY man i miss those years of getting home from school and playing bloodborne with my big bro watching and him saying “damn your actually getting good” and him being behind on his playthrough. I came home from college today and started a new game, with him watching just like old times. All cuz of your vid thanks bro❤️
Damn brother, you have no idea how happy that makes me feel as a content creator. Thank you for sharing that information with me and the rest, hope you and your brother have an amazing time🤘🏽❤️
Bloodborne was my first Soulslike. I remember my brother bringing his PS4 over to the house and telling me to play this new game he got. I had seen him play Dark Souls 2 once before for like 10 min but it looked too “nerdy” for me (I played games like CoD, Madden and the occasional popular spg). Anyways, I played thru like half of Central Yharnam and fought the Cleric Beast. And holy crap it was an enlightening experience. I had never played a game like it and it was so refreshing. I later played DS2, quit after getting stuck in the Forest of the Fallen Giants, went back after like 6 months and clocked in over 300 hours. And the rest is history. I still need to beat Sekiro tho. That game is so hard 😭
Cool that there are other ppl enjoying BB. I'm playing the game, currently on ng++ cycle. About zones reset: might be an issue early game when you get little to no blood shards, later isn't an issue as you can stack on BHMs and use them without remorse to reset areas. About blood viles: idk, seems pretty okay-ish? In dark souls series you can't loot the estus flasks from dead bodies, so you have to be even more cautious as long as I remember correctly. It is demon's souls which is generous with stacking up herbs. You also have rally mechanic to make it more manageable. Without diving too deep, the real thing that I dislike the most is weapon upgrade mechanic: too much grind and random IMO. Also, the winter lanterns xdd... Those actually have some decent gems for weapons, so yeah. Had to grind those annoying mobs and dungeons as well.
I replayed the game with a new character to capture footage for the video. Even as a veteran player, I ran out of vials like 3 times during my playthrough (fighting Logarius, Gerhman and don’t remember the other). I started using bhms to reset but ran out of them because new character. And yeah, the upgrade mechanic is way too rng dependable. And if you want to really ascend your weapon, you have to go to those deep chalices to find those incredible gems, but I couldn’t care less, the chalices bore me to sleep lmao
I think, because of how Bloodborne basically launched with the PS4, they had no choice but to force the loading screens between the Hunter's Dream and playable world, especially with how interconnected so many areas are. If you don't take a lamp, you can travel all the way through Iosefka's Clinic through Central Yharnam, through the sewers, past Oedon's Tomb and into Cathedral Ward into Hemwick Charnel Lane, and if you've unlocked Yaharghul, you can run through there as well, AND you can go up to Upper Cathedral Ward if you have the key. It's an absolutely huge, sprawling, connected area, but the amount of memory it would take to load and keep all of that must have been a big stress for baseline PS4. It also doesn't make much sense lore-wise to allow resting at lamps to not transport you somewhere, but I digress. I think it was more of a technical limitation than anything. I also am one of the very few people who enjoys the blood vial mechanic. I've heard every complaint, but I kind of just think Dark Souls enjoyers are spoiled and set in their ways. I don't mind farming a tiny bit, and as you get better at the game, that need disappears- the beginning farm, around Father Gascoigne most likely, helps attune you to the game. I like being able to pick up vials as I kill enemies and run through an area, instead of trudging back to a bonfire each time with hat in hand, and being forced to reset the enemies I just cleared if I want my flasks back. It also changes how you play. Do you charge in after getting hit to try and rally some health back, or do you back off and use a vial? When you have to work for each vial, that decision can be weighed differently than "oh, if I die, I can just get all my flasks back, it's not worth fighting and I should just start over." I've seen so many DS/Elden Ring players just lay down their weapons when they have a single flask or no flasks left, because they don't feel it's worth it to continue and there's no other way to regain their health. And, if you really can't be bothered to farm, I see that you've played online, which means you can get into the online chalice dungeons and can get at least 80k echoes in under a minute. If the player truly doesn't enjoy the vials system, they can eliminate it for themselves by stockpiling- by either buying or farming.
As someone currently going through a serious chalice dungeon addiction I command you for having picked up the game again and finished it. You should join the "return to Yarnham" movement that will start in March. It's a fun event that occurs every year for people in love with bloodborne who want to experience it again with more players around.
I just finished this game for the first time ever after having bought it on release when I was in highschool due to the hype around me. I lost track of how many times I deleted the game off my ps4 because I couldn’t get past the cleric beast. I hated it. I picked it up again after playing Elden Ring and Sekiro, and ended up SMASHING through this game (and found out the boss I spent 8 years rage quitting to was fucking optional). It really is such a fantastic game, my only criticism is that the big main story bosses were all incredibly easy. Including the DLC, the only boss (excepting 6 years of wipes to CB lmfao) that took me more than 5 tries was the Blood-letting Beast in the final chalice dungeon, so I wish some of those memey fights were more challenging (Rom, the tower knight reskin, witch of hemwick, celestial being, to name a few). Such a fantastic story and world though, I’m already replaying it!!!
For the run back to martyr logarius after dropping off the ledge and taking some damage try just making some blood bullets and then using a vial that way it's not such a waste. Obviously it's nice to have the extra bullets for his fight too
I don't know if you knew this because you didn't mention it in the video, but stock up on Bold Hunter's Mark's. Using them resets the area and puts you back at the lamp without losing any echoes. It's not the same as DS obviously, but it does the trick for farming.
Yeah many people have commented it. I knew it but forgot to mention it in the script. It’s an alternative better than going going back again and again manually but doesn’t 100% fix it because it’s still a consumable.
@@ComYuriY for sure. I'm of two minds about it being a consumable. On the one hand, sure - it can get super annoying sometimes to have to break the flow of the game and either go farm stuff or buy it from the hunters dream. But it also makes sense with the way the rest of the world is presented as a whole. There's this oppressive uneasiness that pervades the environment, and running out of things that you need can cause some really great fight or flight moments that can elevate your experience just as much as take away from it.
It's an amazing game now just as it was 2015. You would never guess its age from playing it. The graphics are still extremely good because From Soft's design team is so talented that they could even create a masterpiece painting with only 100pixels with only two different shades of yellow. Everything about this game screams perfection.
Great video! How do you go the entire video not discussing the DLC? I personally found the DLC a good extension of the base game and with some of the best weapons (whirligig saw, rakuyo). Some laude the DLC as the best DLC of any game ever. Perhaps another video for you to do in the future?
What I want to know is is it still active online I recently got bloodbourne on my ps4 and I want to do a playthrough on it but I like chaos I want to be invaded I wanna summon in co op players and I’m hoping that would still be the case in 2023 because ngl I just recently played DS3 on steam and I barely found anyone and as a result rarely got invaded as your on the bottom of the invasion pool if you don’t have a co op partner. I hope that’s not the same case for bloodbourne
Ring the sinister bell (the one that looks for worlds to invade) and silence it right away. This way you’ll spawn a bell lady (the one that allows you to get invaded) and you won’t invade any other worlds. If you want to invade and be invaded, don’t silence it. You can also summon a coop partner. That also triggers the bell lady to spawn. Don’t kill her ever, if you do, then you won’t get invaded. Additionally, the nightmare zones (Nightmare frontier/ of mensis) are pvp heavy zones because you don’t have to do anything to be invaded there, as soon as you enter the zone, there is already a bell lady spawned. Last but not least, don’t kill the area’s boss. If you do, you won’t get any kind of online activity in the proximities. You can see what zones are incapable of hosting pvp by leaving any of the bells in the shortcut and pressing square to use them. If they cannot be used, it means you can’t get invaded nor summon. Their image inside of the little box up left also gets a little transparent when they cannot be used. But yeah, the game is pretty active nowadays. It has more activity than all other souls games except for Elden Ring. You won’t have any trouble finding people:)
@@ComYuriY oh thanks for letting me know because I tend to go on a pve killing spree and would’ve unintentionally killed the lady that would get me pvp action xD but I do hope it’s more active than DS3 I tell ya after like the first 3 zones it went radio silence on the pvp/co op action xD
I beat it for the first time a few weeks ago. I bought the ps4 to play it in the first place way back and got stuck at rom (and because i spread my stats too much). I restarted from the very beginning and has a good time.
beat it 5 years ago. went back and got platinum last night. AFTER getting one in Elden Ring. Bloodborne is my first Souls game and unrivaled in almost all other categories too.
I'm confused about the "farming for healing items" just save up like 100-150K BE and buy a shit load. You hold 20 (unless you have a rune) and the rest goes into storage. Every time you go back to hunters dream it'll auto refill your inventory. Did the same for bullets, molotov, antidotes, etc.
The fact you have to save up blood echoes to buy healing items instead of levelling up is still an issue, imo. Naturally, without buy any, I ran out of vials. During my dlc run, a friend challenged me to finish Maria without viscerals and I had a really hard time and lost all my vials. So I had to go some where to kill some enemies, get money, and buy more. This last process should not exist because of how tedious it is.
My first time playing it was close to two months ago around mid September and 30 minutes into it. I loved it. Honestly before fromsoft makes new projects I say games like Demon souls, Sekiro and Bloodbourne deserves sequels. All three of them HONESTLY need sequels.
Bloodborne and Sekiro are the GOATs. I got burnt out of Elden Ring after one long ass playthrough. Yet another dragon and giant filled dark medieval fantasy setting combined with identical Dark Souls rolling gameplay was so tiresome and stale. Praying for a spiritual successor or sequel to one of these games in the future.
I'll pay for a remaster. I've been avoiding replaying it in hopes that it will be fresh by the time they release one. The framerate is the one thing holding this game back and it's crazy that they haven't made the effort yet to let us enjoy bloodborne at 60fps.
It's funny how I was really into Lords of the Fallen but only one video at the bottom of the recommended TH-cam videos on the right named: Bloodborne: Nope. Now I only watch videos and I'm OBSESSED with playing a Lovecraftian dark fantasy RPG in the streets of Victorian London. I'm just waiting to know if the 60 Fps mod is viable and maybe a PC release who knows...
People who watch vativada ot another youtubers to get the lore of Bloodborne... You're missing the whole point. Vati's video are 70% his own interpretation. The lore in Bloodborne/Ekden Ring is suppose to be have gaps, that YOU, as a PLAYER suppose to fill on your own. Watching some random youtuber totally kills the whole point of lore puzzle in Bloodborne/Elden RIng, because 70% of what this random youtuber says is... well, not a lie, but let's say, interpretation.
I watched them when I was new to fromsoft and didn’t know they explained part of the story through item descriptions. When I finished the game first time and had almost no idea what was going on, I had to look up a video
You state you cant reset an area while on screen the hunter has a Bold Hunter Mark in the square button slot lol. Eileen gives you some right away and you can reset areas. There is no long loading while farming for vials. Central Lamp thru gate, 2 brick trolls. Then upstairs brick troll and 2 scourge beasts. Bold Mark repeat.
@@ComYuriY Yes theyre consumable and you can run out. You can also use a regular hunter mark solely for farming vials which never run out. Loved your video.
@@pingamalinga thanks mate, appreciate it. Yeah, that’s an alternative, but not a good one because you lose all your echoes, so there’s not an “effective” strat…
@@ComYuriY what I usually do if I have to farm vials like on BL4 is, do the central farm then buy some BHM along with vials and bullets while I do it. Being able to buy them makes it much more manageable.
I don’t know man, I played 4 times now and I kinda hate it, and love DarkSouls but this feels super easy with the regen after hit mechanic, i suffer with the DS series but with BB I just breeze thru I will probably just give it another try but I don’t know what I haven’t got me, also armor and sets feel very samemy
Panic dashers who try to abuse s by spamming O tend to be beginners. I don’t think a beginner will realise they are losing more health by getting caught while evading. Furthermore, why would I risk dodging and dying because of the extra damage if I can just stay quiet and survive in some attacks. For me it really doesn’t make sense honestly. If they don’t want players to spam the O button, just put a delay on it, like, you have to wait 1 full second before pressing it again or the character won’t respond to the input.
@@ComYuriY that's an awful suggestion. Glad ur not on FS team lol. On a serious note, bloodborne boss fights are a rhythm, memorizing attacks and deciphering where exactly to dodge and when is part of the fun. And don't mention beginners please FS isn't merciful on veterans too. Everything is vague and left to the deduction of the player. EVERYTHING right down to story. Ambiguity is part of the appeal.
i’ve always wanted more from BB, there are many dead ends to the story that are interesting to follow through, imo the game felt more like a shelf project, rushed and never fully finished and was undermined by Sony. It is a masterpiece nevertheless and it leaves me wanting more of it. (i got it in 2015)
HOLY SHIT! My amount of play throughs are rookie numbers compared to yours😃 thanks bud. It is called Bell’s theme from COD BLACK OPS COLD WAR. This game has a surprisingly awesome ost!
@@uncleolsorry, I thought you were talking about the one in the background while explaining the bloody crow fight. The theme in the background during the actual fight is called Guile’s theme from street fighter 2!🙂
4:51 Exactly! This! I see so many people disagreeing with me but finally I found someone who does not! One of the reasons how Elden Ring could be better, is if they’d cut the music in areas and the world, because sounds and ambience creates more atmosphere than music. Besides, boss themes and bosses generally would hit harder when you don’t have constant music playing between each of them. There’s a reason that Demon’s Souls PS3, Dark Souls 1, and Bloodborne are known for having the best atmospheres in the series, a good amount of the reason is their visual artstyle, but another is because of how much they shy away from using music. Big W!
💯!! It’s literally the only game where I have thought this and it’s like, bro are we really throwing shade at them for putting in work by creating soundtracks for zones?😂
Nice video, couldn't disagree more about the extra damage during dashing, game gives you plenty of ways to get back your health. It punishes spam dodging. Just have to adjust and not panic. Which is pretty much the formula for success in these games.
In MY OPINION blood borne is one of my favorite games of all time. Top 3 at least. But I have to say that I have become a masocist for the bloody crow. He is brutally difficult and probably one of the hardest npc fights fromsoft have ever made, if you don’t cheese him. Which I personally never have as I didn’t know it was an opinion. However I love just how difficult of a fight he is. As someone who has played through blood borne multiple times and can beat nearly every boss first try every time. It is refreshing having an enemy that will always be there waiting for the duel of a lifetime.
Yeah, he is merciless. The player just has to suck up and get good. Beating nearly every boss first try is amazing, props to ya. Thanks for the sub mate, really appreciate it😊
@@ComYuriY after being killed by each, too many times to count eventually you start to pick up on weaknesses. I wouldn’t claim that it was easy. Because it wasn’t, the fights were just addicting…but having to constantly farm for healing was brutal at the start. Once you’ve got a good grip on the game healing isn’t nearly as bad of a problem.
Yeah, until the point you get extra confident and start applying extra handicaps to make the fight more interesting, like killing Lady Maria with no parried😂 Yesterday my friend and I were in a party while I was collecting footage for the next video about the dlc, and man…2h and back to farming vials because I couldn’t beat her! She is a whole different fight without visceral attacks.
@@ComYuriY my fights with Maria happen as such. “Parry her over and over again until phase 3. Then I miss time a parry and my health bar is deleted. Repeat until I stop missing parries lol.
Dark beast is so hard it's the only one I can't solo, but I don't use guides for from games so I'm assuming there's some trick to stagger it im misssing
I thought it was only about targeting one limb and continuously hitting it until it breaks. I tricked chikage and started hitting one of the mf’s leg and the beast fell down💀, rinse and repeat with all other legs. Be careful with the charged explosion area attack. Do no waste all stamina hitting, maybe you’ll need some to roll out or run away from it.
I freaking loved amygdala in fetrid rotted cursed lol 1 hp. I freaking got so good at that fight. Literally had to play perfect. But that thing had my gem I needed
I actually had no idea what from soft was about A friend at work told me bloodborne was free on PlayStation one day, so I decided to check it out. And that’s where the love affair began. I actually love it so much that I felt guilty taking it for free so I went and purchased a brand new physical copy just to give them my money. That’s how amazing this game is to me.
I don't understand why some people call it "perfect", the game has a whole lot of problems & flaws, it's an amazing game, but please stop using the word "perfect" because it'll lose meaning with time or be misrepresented, I mean its DLC is what kind of saved it in terms of boss fights (which is the most important aspect of these FROM games) or it'll never be mentioned when boss fights are discussed in a Souls game
@@HeyTarnished no apologies needed, you are free to comment any discrepancy as long as you do it respectfully, which you did:) thanks for the kind words!
Goddamn I love bloodborne. I'm also delusional. It's absolutely perfect for me and my tastes. Nothing to hate for me. A lot of people hate the dungeons but I think of it as semi-fresh content for a game that I want to keep playing. I think the consistent dungeon layouts are familiarity, not laziness. If I get bored with Irithyll dungeon, I skip to Iz. Such a great feature.
Thanks for commenting your discrepancy in a respectful manner, it tends to be the other way 💀 so I appreciate it. Yes, I understand that since they are randomly generated, it adds something “new” to a game most of us have already explored very deeply and there isn’t much, if anything else to see. Despite this, I think I hit my limit after doing approximately 20. I got tired of running around mazes to pull a lever in caves that look very similar😅
@TheRealGovika that's what I just said buddy . Irythyll dungeon is not in bloodborne its in dark souls that what I'm trying to say . There is no irythyll in bloodborne . Irythyll of the boreal Valley and irythyll dungeon are locations from dark souls 3 .
i never understood people complaining about the Logarius runback, if you just send the elevator back down before you hop off on your way to him so it's ready for you down the bottom on your next attempt, then the runback really isn't long at all. For the losing health issue simply equip a not often used gun/weapon with a HP recovery gem (or stack 2 or 3 is better) & wait a little bit before you enter the arena. This is a bit tedious though of course & alternatively could be alleviated by simply using a + max vials rune, but that would be a personal choice/preference for sure if you're particular about certain runes. Also people who skip the Cainhurst ticks/fleas are cowards 😉😂 You can reset areas easy btw, bold hunter's mark. (again never understood why people complain about this tbh). I never found myself running out of vials either tbh but 🤷♂. Always spent any spare echoes on extra vials, I mean the game gives you tonnes of echoes for what feels like this very reason.
I do consider it long, even if I leave the lift at the bottom. Go up the lift, cross the dining room full of specters, go up the stairs, cross the roof with the gargoyle, drop down, go up the stairs, run to the boss. It’s way too much for a boss that always takes me a while to defeat🤷🏽♂️ btw, I didn’t have any health recover gems when I got to him with my new character, so yeah, I wasn’t going to go find a specific gem just to solve the drop down problem.
@@ComYuriY The doll drops a HP recovery gem when you give her the hair ornament from the abandoned workshop. It is only a +2 though so would be a while to heal up even that small fall before Logarius probably. Alternatively if you go chalice diving you'll get some better HP recovery gems. The +max vials rune is the easier solve for sure though if you're not picky with runes. There's also a HP recovery waning gem by the brainsucker down by the bottom of the cathedral ward backstreets that I forgot. You could pair that with the tear gem for +3 HP recovery total before Logarius. (again would still be a bit of a wait though haha)
Man I really should play a Souls games one of these days
You haven’t played any????????????
@@ComYuriY Nope, which one would you recommend for a first one?
If not bloodborne, DS1 in my opinion. Can't really go wrong. Unless you choose DS2 loool.

Yeah, one of the few I consider to be ART.
this why i don’t get why FromSoft doesn’t even at least bother to come back to BB and do something to it for the fans.
Never played it before
@@kavid8120because it’s complete and done it doesn’t need the dark souls treatment just leave Bloodborne as is
I always play in October just for the vibes. Recommend 10/10 I want a sequel so badly
It has to happen. On god I’d camp outside a game store to be the first to get a physical copy💀
I’m glad to hear it made you feel better. Reach out to a professional or friends, depression is no joke. Hope you’re feeling better now.
DS3 is FromSoft’s best game. Combat, environmental storytelling, perfect bookend to the trilogy, Best bosses & the OST is the best in any video game I’ve ever played.
I’m heard this from a lot of ppl. NakeyJakey actually made a video about this very topic
It's been years and nothing still tops Bloodborne. Goodness gracious.
Still my favorite Fromsoft game. At 950 hours and counting, probably my favorite game ever.
And probably these 950 hours felt like 100, it is dangerously addictive
Cool, thats good it has so much replay ability. I have 150 something hour's, beat about 6, 7 times. Did chalice dungeons all twice. Havent played dlc yet, so that should be fun.Great game
The amount of people coming back myself included is insane. Normally i don't do multiple playthroughs but this is my first and i have dark souls 3 and Elden Ring (which i bought upon release)
This game will never die. Even if we never get a sequel or even a remaster.

The only game I've 100%ed. Loved the gameplay. Recently learnt more about the lore. I know that Miyazaki drew upon some strong artistic influences but the overall universe, storyline and delivery of story detail and clues within the game is genius level.

Thanks for the video! Bloodborne is still my favorite souls game. Nice to see fresh takes still.
Lovely story, seriously. I can see how much you like the game through your words. For me, Laurence has always been bborne’s hardest boss.
This video is so sick! I hope you get more followers. Loved it
Thanks for the love❤️ Every video has to represent an improvement regarding the last one. In a month or so I want to watch this one and say, damn this one sucks😂

Thank you brother! I’ll try not to make you regret your choice:)
u really appreciate the boss music in this game because the music is used sparingly, the gameplay is king, nothing really scratched the itch ever since. idk why sony is holding this game hostage and not giving us a pc port, this exclusive sold many ps4 console and sony keeps disrespecting it.

First thing I did upgrading to a PS5 last month was replay Bloodborne. The DLC is worth every penny.
Same thing for me. I bought my first ps5 4 months ago, and the first thing I did was replay bb. It’s something every bb enjoyer must do
of all the games ive played bloodborne is probably my top 5 for favorite games ever, maybe number 1.

Is my new favorite game of all time and found it after playing Lies of P.
The only thing that holds this game back for me is the 30 FPS. It genuinely causes eye strain. Outside of that, its GOATed game.
Thanks, I suppose it starts the day the game released back in 2015?
20:38 bold hunters marks can reset the area, although they are a usable item which is kinda annoying
Yep, it doesn’t 100% fix that issue since it’s a consumable
I’m currently playing it for the first time and I gotta say I’m having a blast!!
I love bloodborne, BB put me into video games. Turned me into an avid souls enjoyer, the only reason I have a PS5. EVERYONE MUST TRY THIS GAME ONCE.
100%!!!!
For the run back to martyr logarius after dropping off the ledge and taking some damage try just making some blood bullets and then using a vial that way it's not such a waste. Obviously it's nice to have the extra bullets for his fight too
I am replaying it for the hundred time. It needs a refresh, it feels old.
Figures😂 we’re talking about 100 playthroughs here
I don't know if you knew this because you didn't mention it in the video, but stock up on Bold Hunter's Mark's.
If you use bold marks then you reset the area with only one load screen so it's not too bad.
It's an amazing game now just as it was 2015. You would never guess its age from playing it. The graphics are still extremely good because From Soft's design team is so talented that they could even create a masterpiece painting with only 100pixels with only two different shades of yellow. Everything about this game screams perfection.
I still play it a few times a year for a speedrun. I ignored that its 30fps
It still holds up to this day
Great video! How do you go the entire video not discussing the DLC? I personally found the DLC a good extension of the base game and with some of the best weapons (whirligig saw, rakuyo). Some laude the DLC as the best DLC of any game ever. Perhaps another video for you to do in the future?
By the end of the video there’s a sneak peak hinting I’d make a video on the dlc only, which I just released yesterday🙂 go check it out if you want

@@ComYuriY its there for you man lol i definitely feel the game coming back alive. 3/25/25 would be 10 year anniversary. 🤔
Elden Ring and Bloodborne are equally special in my heart. Bloodborne for the masochist in me, Elden Ring for the high fantasy.
Have you ever watched the sky in any area while making contact with the moon?

When the heck will we get a port to pc tho? I don’t have ps5 and my ps4 is going to explode next time I turn it on
Explode or take off?😎 I’m pretty sure it has a jet engine inside
I'll pay for a remaster. I've been avoiding replaying it in hopes that it will be fresh by the time they release one. The framerate is the one thing holding this game back and it's crazy that they haven't made the effort yet to let us enjoy bloodborne at 60fps.
To be fair you can use bold hunter marks to reset the area. Which of course presents it's own issue having to farm to buy them.
Unfortunately, yes…it is not a total solution. It is a small annoyance we’ll never get rid of, although who cares, the game is still one of the GOATS.

That extra damage during dodging makes sense. They don’t want players to abuse the tech.
This is my favorite game ever. I would pre order 2 in a heart beat
i’ve always wanted more from BB, there are many dead ends to the story that are interesting to follow through, imo the game felt more like a shelf project, rushed and never fully finished and was undermined by Sony. It is a masterpiece nevertheless and it leaves me wanting more of it. (i got it in 2015)
I felt the dead ends were the locked doors . A lot of what was put into elden ring could have been put into bloodborne.

@@ComYuriY ok thank you
I never get tired watching Bloodborne contents. 🖤
@@ComYuriY Lmao fr 😂
Nice video, couldn't disagree more about the extra damage during dashing, game gives you plenty of ways to get back your health. It punishes spam dodging. Just have to adjust and not panic. Which is pretty much the formula for success in these games.
Bloodborne 2023: Unrivaled
Lies of P: HOLD MY BEER
Bloodborne was my first soulsborne and also my first platinum.
Just started playing this a couple days ago, best soul's like game IMO
Totally agree
Lop is better by allot
best from soft game
I'm still playing bloodborne ever since they gave it out for free on ps plus. Mostly because I have not 100% it yet for that sweet sweet platinum

8:43 I think they want you to land on the fence to lot lose health but risk falling;)
Bro the dlc is a must it has the best bosses
Check the ending of the video!
Nothing can be close to bloodborne. I beat the game two days ago . Masterpiece ❤
Ijust love playing bloodborne in my room. My own vibe a warm blankey. And a hot coffe
Damn I didn’t know you were chill like that
Its just a great game icant believe stop playing it. Thanks for reply
Bloodborne is my favorite, having played it multiple times. Other FS games are meh.
You bet it was perfect and till now it is perfect. My very first souls game 😍😍😍
I actually had no idea what from soft was about
A friend at work told me bloodborne was free on PlayStation one day, so I decided to check it out. And that’s where the love affair began. I actually love it so much that I felt guilty taking it for free so I went and purchased a brand new physical copy just to give them my money. That’s how amazing this game is to me.
This act of yours is as noble as Radahn allowing Malenia to put her arm back on to fight. Good job sir!
My favorite game of all time! I kinda hated Sekiro for not being bloodborne. Lies of P!!! Is badically bloodborne duce. ❤
I will try it asap🫡❤️
If you hate it. Come find me and we will exchange fists 😆 ❤️
Still phenomenal done another play through and absolutely dominated ludwig after letting my friends try for a bit.
They should start implementing the Ds2 thing to reset an area to fight the boss again. I’d fight Ludwig all day long
I've been playing it again recently
Clowned on OoK using the cannon
Bloodborne is probably my favorite game ever. And it shows in ingame time😂
Are we aiming for the thousands?😎
@@ComYuriYmost likely, but I dont know how to actualky check it
In the main menu, choose load game and you can check your characters and the time you have with each
I don't understand why some people call it "perfect", the game has a whole lot of problems & flaws, it's an amazing game, but please stop using the word "perfect" because it'll lose meaning with time or be misrepresented, I mean its DLC is what kind of saved it in terms of boss fights (which is the most important aspect of these FROM games) or it'll never be mentioned when boss fights are discussed in a Souls game
For me, it is perfect, even with all its flaws
@@ComYuriY Sorry for my comment, but I did like the video, great watch nonetheless.
@@HeyTarnished no apologies needed, you are free to comment any discrepancy as long as you do it respectfully, which you did:) thanks for the kind words!
Man i love bloodborne. And this is only base game adding the 10/10 DLC to it makes it even more of a perfect game. Still waiting on that remaster From
Update: Just saw your video on The old hunters good stuff my guy
@@reaper8263 thanks mate!:)
Yes please bloodborne 2 please fromsoft gods answer our prayers.
Irythyll dungeon is actually an area in dark souls 3, not bloodborne but I agree the I love the chalice dungeons
@@123NERDZ dungeons as in chalice dungeons
@TheRealGovika that's what I just said buddy .
Irythyll dungeon is not in bloodborne its in dark souls that what I'm trying to say .
There is no irythyll in bloodborne .
Irythyll of the boreal Valley and irythyll dungeon are locations from dark souls 3 .
@@123NERDZ yeah maybe he wanted to say Ihyll
Father Gas Coin. Great video, enjoyed a lot.
i never understood people complaining about the Logarius runback, if you just send the elevator back down before you hop off on your way to him so it's ready for you down the bottom on your next attempt, then the runback really isn't long at all.
Bloodborne is in my top 3 games ever, The goat souls game.
Its so good it doesn't need a sequel
Don’t you want more bloodborne in ours lives?😢 I’m all out for it if it comes out the same way or better than the first one
