Never say "I am an idiot." when you are a genius. Thank you for the great videos!
Thank you for watching! If you have any questions, just leave them here and I'll get to them! (Also leave a like and follow, I'd love that!)
Hey there Hegamurl, thank you for the video! :) One question: I use 1Hz clock bit with CTU to count up time. But the 1Hz bit behaves like it's ticking every CPU scan instead of positive edge every second. Are you familiar with this behavior? Thanks :) Jan
Hi there Hawk!
The way you describe it, the program should work... I've made a quick video on that topic, maybe this helps: th-cam.com/video/D9k29p8A13Y/w-d-xo.html
@@hegamurl7434 Hey :-) I just finished watching the new video, awesome work :-) And I believe it also helped me to solve the problem, because I actually use one timer several times. I'm gonna test it tomorrow when I get to plc. If you are on Patreon or somewhere, let me know so I can donate for a "bier" or coffee :-)

So so happy i found your channel :) Greetings from Greece
Always happy to be of help!
Very helpful, currently undertaking a college course and this helped me alot just subscribed.
I just discovered your channel. You have very nice educational videos. There are many things to watch and learn from your lessons. It is very nice to explain by practicing. Education should be so congratulations. I wish you continued this kind of practice lessons Thanks
12:17 why did you change the XIO to XIC? In your previous videos you said that B3 is active-zero signal, it writes 1 in the address bit when no product is detected, so XIO works correctly, you just need to set the address bit to true at the start of simulation in your sim table. Please, correct me if I am wrong.
I agree with you, if the address bit is set to true in the table of plcsim, it works as it has to be. I think he didn't notice it at that moment and his experiences bring up an alternative solution. Hopefully he can confirm.
I think in the first network he must only keep B3 with a NC Contact and set it true in the fist of the simulation. nad no need for adding the K1 contact.
Good to see some people are paying attention:)@@zinger2225
This is the most usefull video I've seen for siemens, thx.
Nice video, thank you very much i learned many things with you, i'm sure i will not find siemens trainer like you , thank you again.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I am using ET200S CPU. and when i select clock memory it doesn't created address or make tag for this. Can you help on this
?
Bonjour, j'aime bien votre façon d'apprendre qui reste accessible à des novices. Merci Beaucoup.
Ive got a annoying issue with my s7-1215 dcdcrly when using clock memory bits, i hope you can help me real quick,
when trying to flash a LED with 1Hz the frequency goes wild and flashes pretty much randomly, when checking out the plc variables you can see that 1.0Hz, 1.25Hz & 2.0Hz are all on at the same time and turn off at the same time, which I assume is the reason for my issue, but I have no clue on how to resolve that or disable the other frequencies because I pretty much only need 1Hz
In the PLC variables you can see some others frequency not changing/working at all
Super, learn more and more! You are the best!
hello sir I used the memory clock tag but my clock not blinking
SIR UR EXPLANATION IS VERY GOOD.....
A top video again.
Thanks, happy it helps!
Great content, thank you!
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Hey you're great ,you had good experience and beautiful English
Really good videos. I have a question, if you try to assign two variables the same address of a byte that clashes with assigned bits does the step 7 software raise a warning ? And my second question, is it possible to view the s7 memory map ?
In general have you covered setting up the memory tags in an efficient way that avoids bit clashes. I have had this in the past with automatically assigned bits on another Plc.
I've a problem in understanding .. if I created FC for example for "star delta"
And if I have 2 motors and I'll do this FC for both motors , I note that delta output don't get 1 when 2 motors are working together " the problem in the timer responsible for count and make star contactor "OFF" and "ON" delta contactor , can you explain please ! and thx
Thank you for your videos, you always give very good info and give it crystal clear, i have some questions, it can be made other clocks?, for example if i want a count every 10 ms, and what is the shortest time you can get?
Thank you so much your video is so helpful !
Greetings from Malaysia!!
You are a LEGEND
Hi, how do i make a clock on 75Hz for example ?
I have TIA portal 18 and the simulation table I get is like a screen that does not allow the toggling of the bits or at least I don't know what to do to get work like what is in the video. Thanks
Ben
hello hegamurl, thanks for the videos. i have a problem after i do the programming the same as in the video, the light does not flash is stays off or on all the time, what is the thing that i do wrong ?
thank you
Wonderful sir❤️
Bro, Please advise, What is an Ambiguous address. Its says Access to with an Ambiguous address
Thank's for this video
lifesaver!
Well done
Hi Hegamurl, greetings from Hungary, and thank you for all your educational video, it is very helpful. I have a question about the topic, what if I want to use a 3Hz signal for example. Can I add or modify the clock memories somehow?
Thank you!
Thank you!
ın the version of 19th of tia portal ,I can not see any bits in clock memory section ,it is rubbish I can not solve ,is there anyone that can help to me ,please help :) also I can not see clock memory bits in plc simulator .
You R Great
on one hand siemens doesnt recommend using the global memory and say they only support that for compatilbility reasons. On the other hand they have this function with the clock memory byte and even extend it with their system memory byte.
siemens y u do zis???
Why don't they recommend it?
thank u bro
thanks you
Nice video! I have a question, do you know how to execute a function block once every 1s, I am looking for a pulse generator with 1Hz frequency
Use Cyclic interrupt
thanks
🙏🙏🙌
Can you change the hertz for one of the clock bit? For example Clock_4 Hz, it is not on the list?
yes henlo i try to make program but is very hard. i want put in kloc but is very hard.I gave problmes wiht putin in the kloc. blies helb thx
yes ehenlo i hav seem problem
Wonderful sir❤️
