Your channel was a beautiful surprise! I wasn't expecting this level of artistry, you should have way more subscribers! There wasn't nothing that you have portrayed in this video i personally can't do but the way you break the process in every video is exceptionally well done and inspirational. As a photoshop enthusiast I must say that i admire your style and I simply watch your videos as form of entertainment! Congrats from Portugal!
I am in the middle of a university project with car photography, this is a great help with lighting techniques and adjusting the composition with seats being moved.
I don't think that you can find a channel on TH-cam with a better quality and precision than yours! Hope to see you back soon and in the meantime I will manage to apply the techniques shown in the videos. Thank you a lot sir!
Hi Damian, I've watched all your videos, thank you for the tips! Could you do a video, showing only the part that you are shooting the car? Telling what your process of compositing, which lens, etc. And, I dunno if you have experience with motorbikes for another video would be awesome! Thank you!
I do this on a daily basis since I’m a photographer for Audi, sadly I do not get the time to play about like this in post production. Thank you for showing me how to improve interior images. (We run the cars to remove engine warning lights/airbag lights, not recommended in closed environments)
Can get better results setting camera on manual as it looked like you were shooting aperture priority with the green focus box on your camera screen so focus will shift slightly with each shot but if shoot manual this will not alter with each shot. Also trigger release should be used to avoid any contact with camera and not cause any shake or camera movement. This really helps in post production as all shots will line up perfectly. Another trick as a starting shot is do a shot with a long exposure to start with this really helps capture dials and internal lighting then composite other details into this shot from lighting around the car. Also you can get excellent results from shooting interiors in a blacked out room or environment with multiple long exposures and light using light painting then composite during post this creates very clean results.
Awesome tutorials, very detailed. This video taught me a lot ! Thank you for your work. Btw, I would like to know what is your ideal camera for car photography ?
Great work and tutorial, just wanted to point out the nav screen in the gauges is not always a great choice when adding a different background. As your background is mountains and the nav screen is showing in an urban area, doesn't match.
@@DamianPlisko don't supose you know how once selections are made to make more than 1 at a time? Or do you have to do each part of the screen seperetely? I saw 1 video about keeping you made paths also think I. Need to learn more about them too.
Great work Damian, thanks for explaining things to clearly. One question, why didn't you just shoot in manual focus rather than having the lens refocus during every shot?
Oh my gosh this is a amazing! I shoot for a dealership and am always looking for help because lighting is everything! I’m sorry what lens did you use? As well how the heck do you have such PERFECT lines for your windows in ps?? I can NEVER do that ever... it looks so good! You wouldn’t know it wasn’t the actual scene out the window! I’m a new subscriber and so happy I found your channel😊
I mean its just a plain garage, you can do this in any location. Yes the light equipment is required but you can also light paint which is a more affordable option
@@DamianPlisko I quickly realized this video wasn't what I was looking for regardless. I have been shooting car interiors for 8 months for a company, that sells cars, and now finally wanna start for myself. But that would be outside and with only a camera, no fancy light equipment. And the pictures will be sale pics, not as much focused on perfect aesthetics. I did watch the whole video lol, but only cause I'm interested, since it was a nice video, just not one made for me 🙃. Cheers tho!

Small question - why you don't use remote control?
Also do you plan to release more videos? :))))
i dont have a remote although i should invest in one. I am definitely planning on doing more videos especially this winter
Incredible work as always Damian, is there any high quality creative commons backgrounds source you can recommend to us? Thank you very much!
thank you, you can always try unsplash
Love your work Damian! What is the power of the strobe you're using?
to be honest i don't remember, its a AD600B

Feels like he is discovering all the things he changed in photoshop with us. Oh, so here I changed the light... hahahahahaha

Excellent video. What was your flash sync speed?
to be honest i don't recall its been so long hahah
Wow amazing work! How long did the edit take you? And how much do you charge for a photo like that?
thanks, this took me about 2hrs to shoot and 3hrs to edit
amazing tutorial, Damian!
Glad you liked it!
Awesome tutorials, very detailed. This video taught me a lot ! Thank you for your work. Btw, I would like to know what is your ideal camera for car photography ?
In my opinion any camera works for automotive photography. The lens is more important. In which case i like to have a versatile lens like a 24-70mm
Great work and tutorial, just wanted to point out the nav screen in the gauges is not always a great choice when adding a different background. As your background is mountains and the nav screen is showing in an urban area, doesn't match.
that is a very valid point, thanks!

Matt Warren i believe you hold down shift and command or control while clicking with mouse to select multiple paths
Thanks again I'll give that a go!

Shooting Dave thanks man! To answer your question it’s because I’m a dingus! I could’ve easily done that as well, my oversight! Good input :)
Damian Plisko hahahaha ok fair enough
Oh yeah! Here we go!
What focal length are you using?
I was using a 24mm focal length.
We need more videos :) Come baaack
2023 is the year of more content
@@DamianPlisko 🙃
@@DamianPlisko bruh
YES!
thank you my good sir!
In what focal length are you shooting?
Diego Olivas 24mm
Hey. Is 24mm usually wide enough for this kind of photography?
Антон Евгеньевич hey it was this time around :)
Does it make a difference if you lower your windows?
Great question, i don't think it would as the windows are not tinted, but some of the light might stillr reflect back
@@DamianPlisko Awesome, I'm going to try it out. I have so much free time now. Thanks for sharing! Love your vids.
Anyone know what lens was he shooting it with? Now sure if missed it...thanks
Sigma 24-70 ART
@@DamianPlisko thanks a lot, great video!
How does your camera focus so fast in live view. Mine is extremely slow
Im using a nikon d750
A lot of times, it comes down to the lens you're using.

I am :)

Hi! This Car Photography God speaking to you, just follow my voice!
I thought this was gonna be a video for everyone, but it starts off by showing a fully white garage, amazing light equipment etc.
