    I'm actually amazed on how fast they do the dress right dress to ready front. My flight isn't exactly bright and we have to hold dress right dress for 1-5 minutes

    Wow! Super sharp cadets. Great job! One slight correction in wording, though. She said, "...with the exception of the guidon bearer..." when there is no guidon bearer in the formation. The guidon bearer is the person carrying the guidon. If no guidon is carried, that cadet is called the guide. Thanks for the excellent video!

      I only saw one issue. They didn't dress-right-dress immediately upon falling in, and when they were falling in, they clearly didn't "move with a purpose" but other than that, very impressive display for AFJROTC.

    I did Army JROTC for 4 years (3rd year as company commander, 4th year as asst instructor/drill team commander). This was some excellent drill sequence. You have to want to listen, practice, prep, and execute to training to get to this level. It can be done from 1st year. Great job here.

    Very nice job. Some of your flight commanders commands are a little hard to understand. It sounds like she is saying "HUT" for her command of execution on several of the commands. Someone else's comment was correct about the guide/guidon bearer. Other than that, this team is very sharp, stellar performance. Your instructors must be proud.

      Sir, XXXXX High School is prepared to execute the 30 Step Drill Sequence ( or whatever you are preparing to do because you use the same for inspection, exhibition etc.) You can use your own version of it; but at most competitions, you have to (as a minimum) say which school you are from, some Air Force competitions also want your unit number. Your Instructors will know the requirements before you compete. My cadets (I'm working with army even though I'm Air Force) say "Sgt Major (or whatever Rank the inspector is) Oasis High School, Shark Battalion Unarmed Exhibition Team requesting permission to utilize your Drill Pad, Sgt Major." The lead judge will usually tell you to "carry on" or "proceed", your response is "Thank you, Sgt Major"

      Well speed isn't necessarily a factor to AF unless it's a competition. Normally we take the time to perfect the drill sequences instead of focusing on sharpness. The AF's job is to look perfect and better than any other branch, Army, Marines, and Navy really care about effectiveness.

    • @waynebarron2369
      @waynebarron2369  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      bearskin 32 you must be Army JROTC because AFMAN 36-2203 states the arms are fully extended. The cadet commander is doing it 100% correctly. Army does the small of the back. Subtle differences in Air Force and Army Drill that makes the difference in winning a National Champion or going home without a trophy. BTW this school in this video is Brandeis High School. They won the first ever consecutive unarmed drill National Championship. It had never been done before in The National’s 35 year history until this year.

      Bingalo check out our website at www.afjrotc.com. We are a Citizenship Development program. Title 10 / Congressionally mandated. With 120,000 plus cadets at 900 High Schools world wide. 60% minority/40% female. Cadets completed over 1.6 million hours of community service last year. We offer academic, drill team/color guard, marksmanship as well as Flight Academy programs for our cadets. Our cadets are highly sought after for college and service academy scholarships and cadets work hard to improve their school, communities and our nation. This program is also free to anyone who wishes to join and fully participate. Yes this is a high school program and over 200 schools are on a waiting list to get a program. Air Force Junior ROTC is one of the top youth programs in this country.
