Em is hard as fk, but NO Hip Hop has been international wayyy before Em ever came on the scene. Due diligence was made in the 80's. Hip Hop artist were traveling all over the world performing in the 80's. Individuals all over were trying to imitate and duplicate the culture/ Hip hop.
I love the way their verses mirror each other. Joyner as looking forward to huge success, Eminem looking back at it.
He took time off after he almost died from a drug OD after a couple years of silently suffering after the death of Proof & went to rehab & has been sober for over 10years now & that’s why his music is not the same as before 2008-2010. Plus the fact that everyone has to grow & adjust to the times that we live in. But IMO Eminem is the, has been, & forever will be the G.O.A.T. Since the first time we were made aware of him!
I think his passion turned from just life occurances into putting that passion into wordsmithing and growing up from the drama to a point. Poetry turned from passion to hobby.

there isn't a bad track on the Music to be Murdered by project, his most recent work, some people don't connect with some of the beats but his wordplay is exceptional all the way through, I would recommend Ya Ya, You Gone Learn, I Will and Marsh off Music to be Murdered By and would actually recommend you do the entirety of MTBMB and MTBMB side B, some amazing features on MTBMB, Crooked, Royce, Joel Ortiz and Black Thought to name my favorites

To be honest, if you go back and really listen to his old stuff, the only thing that's changed is the content of his songs. The technicality and skill, the way he puts rhymes and bars together are all still there. The only real differences are what he raps about, and the speed he raps at more often now.
I completely agree. And I think it is simply age and maturity going on. He is only 5 years older than me.
So I was in the same rebellious fuck it all mind state at the same time, and LOOKING BACK......I can see him growing and maturing through the music. My thoughts, and looks on life have too. Little hints of "old Shady" here and there. But things are different. Thoughts and feelings on things are different. Everything else is the same. Just the content has changed. Life has changed. Now it is cold hard facts. Not some fun shit with a lot of "Oh no....wait....he didn't just say what I think he did did he?"
He is a lyrical master-worker in rap/hip-hop/music. There is no denying that.

Just found your channel today and I just gotta say I really enjoy your chemistry.
Em haven't been gone gone he toke a break between MMLP2 in 2013 and Revival 2017.
Now Revival is a different type off album, but there were people that completely slaughtered the album before it released based on the tracklist.
And Em took that to heart because that album was very personal in subject matters but the beat selection weren't the best. And Em got PISSED and within not even a year we got a new surprise album Kamikaze. And people dropped their jaws, Lucky you is from that album.
In january 2020 he dropped a new surprise album Music to be murdered by 🔥🔥🔥🔥 and in december 2020 he dropped Music to be murdered by side B.
These last three albums is IMO Em in his prime, his pen have never been better!
