So the primal animal summons all count as animals. So tome of beasts and tome of vigor do have synergy. I recently got a chance to use treacherous reflection and its really good. Being able to spawn in a copy of an enemy unit is really strong even if it is just as a distraction. Also the reflection seems to have your enchantments. Im working on an astral order build with a mystic attunement culture. I had attunement star blades on all my units. I copied a tyrant knight and it had star blades on it. Based on your enchants you could end up with something rather powerful. I think a deep dive into the different ruler types and how best to use their strengths and weaknesses would be interesting. You could go over some synergies and level up traits for the different leaders and heroes, so that people know how they work with their economy and their army.
I did a eldritch primal mammoth build with zeal/tentacle/inquisition/glades/corruption and has been doing very well. I was inspired by your earlier dark culture build
You could have both forest & snow province features. The create forest doesn't fully replace "non-forest" hex within a province, allowing it to share another province feature. If you cast it on a province with partial forest it will fully transform it though, not a single hex without forest.
These are great! I would love for you to do an item forge pass over. Some of the powers that need three of a resource is generally hard to get. I'm doing the reaver 2.0 build you have right now with a dragon but most of my heroes have Necro zombie spawning magelock rifles and that have been great at helping with screening. If I can get it I know the status protection ring is great. But a zeal, wind wall also works well. Wands for easy summons or a heal is nice. I'm sure there are some neat things I'm missing in that are reasonable to acquire.
Change the tentacle tome with the tome of necromancy and use the relic of mind as a starting option. This allows you to convert your souls (which you get 30 for free) into Thralls. And you can use them to generate 200 knowledge. giving you a massive early boost. Further more I would use the tome of inquisition since it works with your spirits.
Definitely good choices! Would move the build away from the Eldritch Theme though which was kinda the point of the idea here. Necro + Eldritch Sovereign is a crazy combo, I'm honestly awaiting a nerf
Yeah, none of the Tomes in here got fundamentally changed, nor did the culture. You just got a few more specialization options on your hero. Ritualists are a very good fit into Primal culture (and generally OP, I expect nerfs soon)
@@wegielek3 Many things at once. All of their skill trees are amazing. The supportive Wildgrowth one has too low cooldowns and can be heavily abused for one. The other thing is that battlefield summons are way less available since the Tiger update. Before Tiger every Hero had random access to summons (via signature skills) and now that is no longer the case. Except for Ritualists. They get every summon they want, without randomness. Except Animals you can have Elementals and/or Undead. Battlefield summoning has always been one of the most overpowered mechanics in AoW 4 so they have now solo access to this cookie jar. I hope this gives you an idea why I think they'll get nerfed =)
So many nice options with primal! I recently saw a very nice retaliation build centered around ferocious (+40% retal!) and bullwark by Sweeks ( th-cam.com/video/abKVcqIUznA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=rLsM40wSoOhQ8Rn9 ), but I think it can be improved upon by not going pure melee. The ancestral warden has this jump attack that gives defense mode and so does aspect of root. +40% on retaliation with +20% vs poisoned is nice, which darters and later gladerunners provide. My idea is to add pyro with burning and it's 20% bonus, zeal and cleansing flames for sooo many synergies! Condemn, -3 status resistance, helps land poisoned and burning and doubles zeal damage. The tier IV pyro templar is a great addition/replacement spear that also has an awesome defense mode aoe attack. Paradise/Goddess is very nice for the endgame. I think tentacle will fit this nicely, no damage buffs but more crowdcontrol. Maybe corruption fits, but any major race transformation would be cool, like dragons for instance. Or just keep stacking low tier tomes for damage like cryo, rock, revelers or joy siphoners. Or go evocation (favors support/battle mage over ranged) for an electrified/wet combo with lightning damage. What would you pair with this ferocious/bulwark/ancestral warden idea?

Damn, your brain is definitely braining harder than mine. Thanks!

3 haste berries gets you “Area Chain” which is the best multi target glaive effect in the game IMO
You do great work on these videos. Thank you!

Chill man!
I didn't get the nerf of primals until now. Before the last patch the Animist could summon endlessly.
Where did you find druid teraformers i cant find it😊
I think you have to unlock it in the pantheon
Is it still viable post-Tiger patch?

@@Ic0nGaming what's so OP about ritualist specifically?

I wish game would go on deeper discount. Might have to just bite the bullet here...
