It's nice to see that the developers get very good treatment from the company but as time goes on I'm starting to wonder if the customer support division is understaffed and overworked because they're customer support is to put it lightly, lackluster. It's just bad

as a tech grad i would love to work in hoyo, but the language barrier would suck 🫠 I studied first language chinese at school with chinese teachers directly from china, but school based is nothing compared to native speaking especially in a professional environment it's very different for sure... (Hacking my own hoyo acc and give myself 1mil primos per month without da wei knowing 🤣)

How do I get hired as the 3d animator??
In my memory they had open recruitment in China, Singapore and the US in the past. But I'm not sure about the schedule. TBH if I were young, i would be extremely eager to join them no matter how tough it could be to work with these ppl.

do mihoyo company implementing 996?
As far as I know the Chinese government recently banned the 996 system
996 is deemed illegal in China since August 27 2021. Though there are some black company that still does it I don't think Mihoyo is one as mentioned by Dumingya the CN va for Yae Miko during one of her stream.
well.. i implemented sth even more harsh than 996 to myself even no one forced me and kind of enjoyed it. i must say one must pay some *serious* hard work if success is what you are after..
they do have overtime sometimes, but Mihoyo has a good reputation for treating their employees well

Employees work for them. But customers? Even though customers pay, you can't please all customers. Thousands of other customers are satisfied with mihoyo which is a company that is more responsive to feedbacks than most other game companies.
