My Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD has barrel play at 24 mm but not at 70mm. Any clues on whats wrong? Apparently its not an uncommon issue with this lens. Love the vids, tnx.
I followed your instructions, but unfortunately damaged two flex connectors, the one with the metal bit attached and the 90 degree angled one. Do you have any recommendations on where to get replacement flex cables and whether their replacement is of the same difficulty level?
I'm afraid it is difficult to replace the broken flex cables. Search for "Tamron 24-70mm" on ebay, then choose repair parts or camera parts as category, and check if there is cables for sale for your lens.
