Seeing ancient Human soldiers makes me think: wouldn't it be cool if they did a mission in Halo 5 that is a flashback to the Human- Forerunner war. Especially Charum Hakkor, it's fall reminds me a lot of what happened to planet Reach....
Captain Del Rio of Infinity said that in response when Master Chief said "Sir, Infinity drove the Didact back, he's vulnerable." To which he replied "He isn't the only one." He meant that in the context of that both the Didact and Infinity were vulnerable to attack and possible destruction, thus he refused to pursue and instead decided they should leave via the gravity well.
The prometheans are a elite group within the warrior class which is itself a component of the forerunner social class system. The didact is a promethean to give you an example. They aren't however, composed solely of forerunners they also have those crawler and flyer things. The promethean KNIGHTS were added later on as the didact started using the composer to make them...
Yeah, no. The Forerunners themselves were extreme jerks who weren't above wiping out entire species and who overthrew those who came before them. So asking them for help or trying to cooperate with them might've only lead to them being able to beat both the humans and the flood and keep their dominance over the galaxy.
Why I'm contemplating that John is the ancient human who is running through the dust, but I knew that master Chief has the genetic imprint of Isodidact.
That was AFTER the Forerunner-Human War and the Human-Flood War, what I described was all three events (also the Forerunner-Flood War) The Didact Wanted more shield worlds and saw the usage of the Halo Array as going against the Mantle but His Wife the Librian saw the Mantle as what weakened their race and now demanded they use their Halo Array; The composer was used by his real self, where as the personality clone within another forerunner activate the Array in a final fit of desperation
So is there an explanation on why the forerunners needed a Millennia!? To figure out the Human goal? I find it hard that Humans would not try to send any messages at all to a potential ally against the Flood. Forerunner tech should have been able to auto translate their words instantly if they can build literal Dyson Spheres and Halo Rings.
No, the forerunners were split on how to save Humanity from the Flood, The Didact wanted to use the composer to turn them all into loyal Prometheans, but the Librarian imprisoned him and took the composer from him.
I think the didact is dead...however i think the next game will be about another didact type being. i say this because the Infinity captain says that the didact isn't the only one
*POSSIBLE SPOILER* So the didact wanted to kill all species and bring back the "Forerunners" while the Forerunners wanted Earth to be the next "Forerunners"
YES I completely agree with you..I think that's how the reclaimer trilogy will end....through a series of events someone or something will use that machine to turn cortana biological...that whole scene where cortana asked about the sun and not knowing if it feels real....Its extremely extremely similar to that scene in TRON..heck they both even look very similar..anyway just like in TRON they will bring Cortana into the "real" world
The forerunners were hypocrites in cases yes, but they were not complete assholes. They left the ancient humans alone until the humans started invading and glassing forerunner colonies and forerunner-protected system. The glassing was not always for flood cleansing either, instead used just o make new bases. As for the precursors and what we know of them, they appear to deserve what the forerunners did to them.
I believe she will become an android..not a biological being. It will be interesting however to explain how she can be resurrected...or if she is even dead at all.
That's just stupid! No. Just... no. Go read fanfiction about human Cortana, but she DIED by seperating herself and stoping the Didact, because she couldn't be repaired.
Humans: Lets get as far away from the infection as we can! RUN! Oh! A highly advanced alien civilization... Kill them they might get infected.. Forerunners: Hello there :) We are the Forerunners It is a pleasure to... what the? hang on a second your wiping out our colony's! STOP THAT.... HEY! DO YOU HAVE EARS? STOP THAT I SAY! Humans: Lord Of Admirals sir.... shouldn't we ask for their aid? Maybe they can help us sir? Lord Of Admirals: !!! O_O !!!
Uh the forerunners and humans existed ay thr same times and forerunners were letting the flood grow seeing it as a virus and humans glassed worlds at any sign of the flood even if it meant a forerunner city was caught Rememeher yhe forerunner destroyed there creators as they wished humans not forerunners get the mantle

Imagine a Halo game about the Human - Forerunner Wars . That would be epic !
I want Halo Wars 2 to be about the human/forerunner war.
343 read this and said nope xD
There is the didact, and the ur-didact. One stayed with the halso and the other left the system with the rest of the remaining forerunner.
Iso didact is chief which is why he us trying to unwrite his wrong by stopping them from firing it again every chance he gets.

Of course he's still alive. At the end credit scene, he is talking.
First, nice cutscene, wished it explained the war a bit more.
I want a VR game (quality like Half-Life: Alyx) with a Battlefield 1 vibe from the human/forerunner war.
A BF1 story that takes you to different battles/perspectives of that war 💯
@@ajm8592 Yes. Exactly my thoughts. You are a man of culture :)
YESS!

I belive it's "Arrival"

Except John is Forerunner as 343 Guilty Spark said he was.

If Gandalf can do it, so can the Didact!
We just need harambe to do it
The only one who's vulnrable. He's saying Infinity is vulnrable.
If anyone wants to know anything about halo, just read the halo wiki site

Did they ever release the music playing during the battle in any track?
been searching for it too
@@ahgcomegaguardian5575 it's been 7 years my boy, I think they found it
@@gamezbond5184 bruh, no, I don't think they did. I can't find it either and I think it's nota released
@@ahgcomegaguardian5575 It sounds like a boosted version of the beginning of the track called Haven on the OST
@@gamezbond5184 Well, yeah, but I need a complete version. I think there's none and it's only the remix of the first minute of Heaven, as you say 😭
Plus, they didn't build up this character over books and canon to die in a QTE, he has to much back story to die at the start of the new trilogy
No he died in a comic I believe
I think the didact is dead...however i think the next game will be about another didact type being. i say this because the Infinity captain says that the didact isn't the only one
If stellaris had cutscenes
The Didact IS a Forerunner who disagreed with the other Forerunners and created the Promethians.
Greatest story ever told.
