I watched your video & spent the next 2 days organizing my ribbon & lace hoard. I didn't want to spend anymore money than necessary so found a set of plastic drawers in my storeroom that fit my cards perfectly. I had some foam core boards too & used it for the nice sturdy cards. It looks so nice now & I will finally be able to find the perfect trims easily. Thank you!

That template! Great. You template girl!! Clever. Yes I had the punch, bit this is just as good and cheap. The Leitz boxes are German indeed, they are fantastic, but even a shoebox would do. I bet sharing this idea is also contagious. A good virus this.

Wow, I store my lace pretty much the same. Except for the box, which is plastic ( IRIS brand). I buy the cardboard I large sheets and cut them to size. . I do like this box, I will take a look at it on Amazon. I love how you store the it’s. You are a lady after my own heart, Angela! Organization makes me happy.

I love the idea you used for your storage for you longer pieces of ribbon. I might have to give this a try since I seem to have mine all over the place. I do use a lot of the small containers with multiple slots for my tiny items. I have one for all my eyelets, one for all my bulb pins and etc. They aren’t as large as yours so you can use them for one category. I changed my room around a bit so I could have my often used items on my left like you. You seem to have things at your touch and I was finding I had to get up to get things or bring it all to my table before crafting and hop that I didn’t forget anything

HI!!! Thank you for sharing Wilma's channel, I look forward to watching her videos. I really love how you are storing your laces and trims so off I go to cut up cardboard. I have a lot of plastic storage bins for storing my stuff too. You can't help but have plastic. I think it's better then cardboard boxes as it protects the items better from the elements, bugs, etc. I live in sunny Florida, USA where it is always hot and humid so plastic it is. And I won't tease about how warm it is right now. Thanks for sharing as always it was a great video.

That looks so much like what I do but instead of carding the lace I bundle them in little rolls secured with pins - I get cardboard boxes from Michael's in the US and label them all - I have plastic compartmentalized containers i use for washi tape, floss, sequins, buttons, lace and tiny &small flower appliques i use for fabric and lace clusters- sometimes i think I like organizing everything almost as much as creating things lol 😊 thanks for sharing, I love to see how you do things ❤ 💗🌸⚘🌼🌻😊

Everything looks so neat when you have containers similar in style or color. Those laces look amazing in the box and so easy to sort through. I had mine wrapped in cardboard with a pin to secure. The problem was to find some of them with rust because of the rubbish "stainless steel" pins I used. The humidity here is terrible! Now they have a rubber band. 😏

Even boxes 📦 can be covered or painted. I used white corrugated board from a carton, which I had kept to wind my lace onto. I bought a box at a time. It was a process for me too.. I did the same type of storage for my ribbons years ago when I noticed I was hoarding and things were getting out of control. Back then, I purchased a ton of stickers, so I'd use the heavy backing on the stickers (often they were the same size so I didn't even have to cut them down) and put slits on them and folded them towards the center instead of cutting squares out of chipboard. When you showed what you did, I was like, "Yes! I was ahead of the times." LOL
Absolutely!! Like minds. I do love to reuse and repurpose items that I have into something useful. This is so much better, as I can see the ribbons, or lace and find what I want, as well as save on storage space. SO glad you thought the same. Thank you so much for sharing that with me. Wow, I store my lace pretty much the same. Except for the box, which is plastic ( IRIS brand). I buy the cardboard I large sheets and cut them to size. . I do like this box, I will take a look at it on Amazon. I love how you store the it’s. You are a lady after my own heart, Angela! Organization makes me happy.

I love the idea you used for your storage for you longer pieces of ribbon. I might have to give this a try since I seem to have mine all over the place. I do use a lot of the small containers with multiple slots for my tiny items. I have one for all my eyelets, one for all my bulb pins and etc. They aren’t as large as yours so you can use them for one category. I changed my room around a bit so I could have my often used items on my left like you. You seem to have things at your touch and I was finding I had to get up to get things or bring it all to my table before crafting and hop that I didn’t forget anything

HI!!! Thank you for sharing Wilma's channel, I look forward to watching her videos. I really love how you are storing your laces and trims so off I go to cut up cardboard. I have a lot of plastic storage bins for storing my stuff too. You can't help but have plastic. I think it's better then cardboard boxes as it protects the items better from the elements, bugs, etc. I live in sunny Florida, USA where it is always hot and humid so plastic it is. And I won't tease about how warm it is right now. Thanks for sharing as always it was a great video.

That looks so much like what I do but instead of carding the lace I bundle them in little rolls secured with pins - I get cardboard boxes from Michael's in the US and label them all - I have plastic compartmentalized containers i use for washi tape, floss, sequins, buttons, lace and tiny &small flower appliques i use for fabric and lace clusters- sometimes i think I like organizing everything almost as much as creating things lol 😊 thanks for sharing, I love to see how you do things ❤ 💗🌸⚘🌼🌻😊

Everything looks so neat when you have containers similar in style or color. Those laces look amazing in the box and so easy to sort through. I had mine wrapped in cardboard with a pin to secure. The problem was to find some of them with rust because of the rubbish "stainless steel" pins I used. The humidity here is terrible! Now they have a rubber band. 😏

Even boxes 📦 can be covered or painted. I used white corrugated board from a carton, which I had kept to wind my lace onto. I bought a box at a time. It was a process for me too.. I did the same type of storage for my ribbons years ago when I noticed I was hoarding and things were getting out of control. Back then, I purchased a ton of stickers, so I'd use the heavy backing on the stickers (often they were the same size so I didn't even have to cut them down) and put slits on them and folded them towards the center instead of cutting squares out of chipboard. When you showed what you did, I was like, "Yes! I was ahead of the times." LOL
Absolutely!! Like minds. I do love to reuse and repurpose items that I have into something useful. This is so much better, as I can see the ribbons, or lace and find what I want, as well as save on storage space. SO glad you thought the same. Thank you so much for sharing that with me. 😂🤣. I am so sorry Camille. It wasn't always that way for me. I had chaos for a long time too, then one day I got fed up with trying to find the lace I thought I had and having to waste so much time trying to find things. I started thinking of ways to make it easier for myself. So little by little, I took on an area. I started small, (buttons and eyelets) 😂🤣. I liked how easy it was to find them and I decided to try another thing and another. Now almost everything has its place and I don't waste time looking for things.
