Its good to have sufficient diesel in your tank always, but in this case it is not just that. In most of these cases it is solenoid of injector that goes kaput and it's an electrical part having a specific material called piezo. This gets burnt and reason is excessive heat, possibly due to high voltage passing through it. Next time if you are in a similar situation the just change the solenoid and you are good to go, miles further without any issue. But please let me know know if you can find out why that solenoid (piezo) is burnt, specifically in VW 1.6 tdi cars manufactured before 2014.

Hello from Goa, The friend of your's said correct. Even I had same issue when driving in the middle of road with diesel levle at mid. But said to myself that maybe something was picked up by injector and got cleared now. Then after 5 years, we got the injector issue, morning start with white smoke. Got injectors cleaned and we still see white smoke but once its warms up, it is all clear. Now its 6th year after the first warning as said above(2nd year after cleaning injectors)...will be replacing all injectors on next servicing. Clocked 2.2lkhs km. Vento trendline - 2013 first owner.

Meri 2013 VW Vento main diesel Hindustan Petroleum, Indian oil, Bharat petroleum, even Shell and Reliance main refill karwaya lekin performance kuch khaas nahin thaa aur lag bhi bohot tha phir ek din maney Nayara main desiel fill kiya uske baad engine kaafi smooth chalne lagi .Abb mai hameshaa diesel Nayara pump per hi refill karta hun and i am happy with the smoothness and awesome performance in my Vento.
I researched pre-owned lot of vento in 2019 I see around 4-5 vento but I did't get any vento in good condition at that time but one day I seen verna fluidic 1.6 sx (o) Diesel 2012 in very good condition then I purchase that vehicle now I drive 1 lac after purchase without any problem

Hi Sir, Same meri vento 2012 mein bhi yhi problem aaya, same issues happened. Coil light blink hote hi pick up drop ho jata tha. Pr kisi bhi mechanic ne sahi dhang se nhi btaya. issue itna nhi tha gaadi mein, phir ek long Drive pr engine vibrate hone lag gya. Pta chla ki injector kharab ho gya. Reason same hai Sir. Injector change kiya. Aur fuel tank clean karwane ke liye bola hai.
Don’t use Xtra Green diesel. It contains some percent of Bio-diesel (around 7% i think) and may create some issues with the sensitive continental injectors.
@@wickydrives you said that in your previous video relating to mileage tips...keeping tank not upto brim if driving around city or short spins...so that no unnecessary weight of extra diesel should bother weight of car
This video could've been made in 10 but you talked so slow and it took 22 mins please improve on this. This very common and known issue in vw and skoda cars

once in 2 full tanks , add "adon d" from indian oil. Injectors will never ever die.

Ek badi galti injector fail hone ki , app 50KM range tak jaa rahe ho. Agar fuel tank me kachra hua to wo injector me jane ke chance bad jate hai.

Unfortunately There are 2 - 4 Indian Oil Pumps Near My Locality and They Cheat Customers with False Readings..
Do Suggest if You Know Any Company Owned Pump of Same...

I dont think 20kg more payload would crate considerable effect on mileage even in long term

N service car 12,000 km too
I have 1.5 tdi
Run around 92000 km n still running well
