I don't see why to replace it immediately :) It is a Bomber with large payload capacity, long range, upgradeable but above all it has a low maintenance cost compared to building a expensive new bomber. Its opponent, the Tu-95 is also an example of saving money.

We live in Palmdale, a few miles from Plant 42 and the B21 flew over our house last night, so low and so loud, I thought it was going to hit the house. It made 2 passes before heading off, probably to Edwards AFB.

Whenever we hear the roar of an engine, we will go outside and look around the sky, hoping to see what it is. Before I retired from AT&T, my partner and I did some fiber optic work at Lockheed, Northrop, NASA, and the FAA LA control center at Plant 42.

Grumman Ironworks might have been bankrupted by Dick Cheney who starved the company out of air defense contracts, but this shows Grumman is still alive in its cutting-edge engineering, innovation, ingenuity and sheer resourcefulness. There is an Air Force article listing some specs. The wingspan is about 10 shorter on this bird. The top speed is increased and weight is significantly higher. I was surprised about the weight and it looks like the B21 has a single rear gear axel while the B2 has a double axel.
"Battle management" and "gathering intel" is the keywords that are missed. It can provide Radar and Reconaiassance above your nation and there is nothing you can do about it (in a wartime of course).
