To be honest, the person from "My trading journey" is not trading himself. He is just repeating other people's strategies without acknowledging them. Multiple examples. On 10 May he just repeated FXAccurate's strategy of 08 May for example without acknowledging FXAccurate (like he did so many times). I asked him to acknowledge the founders of the strategy, but he basically said that most TH-cam channels did it just like him (copying other strategies and pretending to be the originator). He did not listen, but attacked me, defended himself, and was too hard of heart to acknowledge that he is wrong in doing that. Glad you tested "his" strategy so that people can see the real statistics. We need honest people in this industry like yourself.

When backtesting this strategy I have had some trouble with the swing lows, they seem to give me huge ranges, when doing this on the daily timeframe, do you have any idea, how I could do this differently, so the swing lows are more objective? I dont mind the volatility if I backtest it 200 times and it is working than the path doesnt matter too much.

I think not using Heiken Ashi altered your initial results. Less signals than Japanese candles. My back test yielded 75% for 1.5 RR and 60% for 2 RR, but I also added 200/50 EMAs for trend rules and stayed away from consolidation. Can't wait to try your modification. Thanks for your content.
@@johndrow8866 First strategy. As I mentioned, 200/50 EMAs. Longs, when price action above. Shorts opposite. I also threw in support/resistance and trend channel rules/price action for go/no go decisions. Multiple layers of confluence, which is how I trade. I'll also hit the eject button if price stalls for too long or looks like a reversal. I've forward tested this the past two days. Six wins, two losses. None of the wins yielded 1.5, but this is a new scalping strategy I'm really cautious. Left cash on the table for sure, but also avoided potential reversals/losses. Not a strategy you want to walk away from. Tried a couple 1min demo trades, big losses....too volatile. Not the holy grail, but all in all, a promising strategy. Need a few months of paper trading and FTMO trial testing to optimize.

Also the volatility oscillator you are using seems to be better used reverze like veryfid says, (when volatility rises to high or low trend reverses).

NVMD, saw the Higher High Lower Low indicator in another video and use that one for the SL. Now I can backtest this thing completely objetively.
Can you please try out the ict strategy?
