I was about 21 years old when 9/11 happened and one of the many things that disturbed me is how our supposed best and brightest watched and listened to everything I did and bought into the Propaganda while they joined the military and I’m over here like hey guys how can yall not see this is an inside job? Needless to say it had the opposite effect on me. I wanted to know who our alleged and supposed enemy was and what I found was some of the nicest and most loving people around. I’m 46 now and I’ve been studying the Quran, and trying my best to be a good man in the eyes of our GOD/ALLAH. I’m not a Muslim but I do love reading my Quran and who knows maybe one day GOD wiling I’ll convert.

That's a smart man. He saw a clear divergence between good and evil. He recognized evil for what it is and that led him to recognize that the other side is the truth.
There is a beautiful prayer that helped me a lot.
"O my God, show me the truth as truth and grant me to follow it, and show me falsehood as falsehood and grant me to stay away from it."
Quite literally the same can be said about the people that lived under ISIS. The fact is religion is all about timing and circumstance.

I was being bullied and assaulted for being muslim, i didnt even know 9/11 was a thing. I legit found out at 14 lmao so much made sense. But yes, that statement is so disgustingly effective, to this day. Recent events with izzy Palestine will bring honor back to muslims, will also bring fairness, justice and truth regarding us. We are normal people who are simply abstaining from certain things, and having extra thoughts before we do something. We are mindful of God. Thats it.

I'm proud of this guy. I lived in Australia 26 years, grew up there, and learned about permaculture there. Geoff Lawton was always a reference for me in the permaculture movement. I'm very pleased and impressed he took shahada and became a brother in Islam.
